This place at times is fantastic and at times it's a complete nightmare. If you send a prescription here very high possibility they will not fill it until you actually are waiting in line to get help. You will submit your prescription and a regular medication will be on back order. Good luck trying to call someone on the phone that is a recipe for disaster if you expect them to pick up. The staff is nice there is not enough people to be able to help the demand which causes a huge issue consistently. Having to wait in line behind 7 to 10 people. I'm giving them three stars because the staff is at least nice when you get to the front of the line after the 30 45 minute wait. read more

For over THREE YEARS I was charged $130 for medication that should have been around $30 using the CVS app barcode discount. Other CVS locations scan it. This location refused. Every. Single. Time. Employees told me they "don't use the app discount," which is completely inconsistent with other CVS stores. I later confirmed with other locations that the barcode should absolutely be accepted. A manager acknowledged the issue and promised reimbursement. I'm still waiting. This isn't just about money it's about integrity. Patients should not have to argue for valid discounts or be forced to overpay for essential medication. Check your receipts. If you use the CVS app, make sure your barcode is being scanned and honored. Transparency matters. Accountability matters. Do better. read more

Needed medication urgently and they randomly decided to close at 12:30 pm. All employees were still there and I was the only person there but they just said no we r closed and pulled down gate. Horrible customer service. Forget trying to speak to someone live on the phone. The AI operator will make you go through hoop after hoop to try to get to speak to a pharmacist, and then ask you to leave a message. If you try to go in person to schedule a vaccination, the woman with the thick eyelashes next to the check in counter will go to great lengths to avoid make eye contact and ignore you while waiting. The people at the pharmacy are very nice and the only reason I go to this CVS. Want to buy something? Good luck, everything you try to get is locked up. So then you press the button above the locked case and wait around for an employee to unlock it which they may or may not do depending on how busy and understaffed the store is. Finally, you get your item, only to walk a few rows over and realize another thing you want is also locked up. I wanted to buy four things tonight, and three of them were in three separate locked cases in three separate aisles. What a pain! read more

The elevators and the front porch are disgusting. They need to be pressure washed weekly because homeless sleep and pee there. When I addressed it to the manager, Raul, he negligently said yeah I know. Then had horrible customer service and said don't come at me like that. Was not even up in his face just casually mentioned it. I am in management myself and the way he handled it is unacceptable. The dark haired woman who over sees the beauty section makes it difficult to have a comfortable shopping experience. Went there today and every time I'd look up I'd see her head peeking out of a different aisle looking straight at me. Last time I was there I asked if they had a particular product and she went on a 5 minute tirade about the theft they were experiencing and how it was difficult to keep anything on the shelves. I let her vent because she seemed like she was having a moment but then my husband walked up a bit later and asked if I had found what I was looking for. Big mistake because of course she was within earshot and that got her going again. She went on about how she was frustrated with people stealing and how her supervisor didn't care to do anything about it and there went another 5 minutes. So she's either using you for a vent session or she just straight up stalks you as you're trying to shop. Very annoying and after today I'm just going to go to the CVS on 3rd. read more

Don't go here if you're in a hurry for anything. The people at the registers move as slowly as molasses and don't seem to care. They get confused easily and seem to have zero problem-solving skills. Never once has anyone tried to be fast or efficient. Everyone acts like it's their first day of training. It's baffling to me how they get that position. This CVS is awful. There is always a line at the pharmacy. There are few employees in the store. Many things are locked up, even bottles of coke. You have to get the one person at the checkout to open it up. Forget about asking for help. Periodically, you have a deranged person come in and start screaming and /or throwing things. The outside stairway is filthy and smells of urine. I switched prescriptions to the CVS at 8000 Sunset. This CVS is a disaster. read more

I usually go there & pick up my blood pressure meds every 3 months. However, today I called 5 hrs before they were ready in order to go in & out of the store. I was met with this dismissive employee who not only addressed me like a piece of trash also stood there to argue with me until his coworker asked him to step to the side. I am in disbelief, subsequently my blood pressure shot up to hypertensive crisis level. Who goes to work and behaves like that? From now on I will go to a local pharmacy. Rude Staff NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL. Was being rushed during my purchase and the next customer was pushing me with their cart so I forgot to add a lighter at the last minute. I tried adding one at the next register since it was open and since I was kicked out by the other customer with the cart I thought it would be okay but no the cvs employee embarrasses in front of the other customers like I'm crowing and tells me to go to the end of the line. We live local and used to visit at least a few times a week for necessities. But it's gradually gone downhill so bad we refuse to go. They moved the registers to me middle of the store and surprise theft went up - so instead of correcting it or getting security they now lock every single item behind doors meaning you need slow process of staff for every. Single. Thing. Including basics like milk. It's just not worth the hassle now. Even half the entrance doors are locked so it's just painful to deal with. Feels like the honest customers are paying for their mistakes which is a shame as the staff are really nice. It's noticeably quieter and dirtier thanks to the pressure they've put their staff under and I suspect they'll go out of business soon due to poor management resulting in poor customer experience. I wanted to share my experience with this particular location with pharmacist named Christine, she always has smile on her face when she assist anybody that that's for sure! no matter how busy she is she handles things so professional and always carefully listen to what Customer needs I was very impressed and especially with me with my experience with her it's been absolutely pristine! even though it gets really busy she handles stress so well and I never seen her frowned once! Or neither being short with a customers so therefore I want to give big shout out to Christine and the staff that I know at the pharmacy, also, I cannot remember the supervisor's name Fred I don't think he was there today but he's always been so professional and nice and cashier named Micheal extremely sweet and professional with your strong leadership with the management I hope that it keep improving I highly recommend this location and thanks to y'all! read more

I visited this CVS in West Hollywood yesterday for my COVID booster, and noticed something disturbing in the patient waiting area. There was a large sponsored standalone spinner loaded up with Christian and Bible books where patients wait before and after their vaccines; no other reading material. I don't want my health care served with a side of religion. It makes me distrust the pharmacy. Have vaccines and medication been tampered with? Can women get their birth control and emergency contraception prescriptions filled? This is really inappropriate. It needs to go. read more

The pharmacy staff is BEYOND RUDE. They are not friendly. I just checked in for a vaccine. The attitude was dismissive. Zero communication. Gave my name to JAMES - Told them I'm here to check in for a vaccine. "TWO... (yes) loooooong pause. Loooooonger pause. Key strokes on the computer... looooong pause. TAKE A SEAT" is all he said. That's it. Zero smile. Zero facial expression. Dead looks. The people before me got a very different attitude. I was friendly. I stood patiently. I didn't ask any questions. LEARN HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE! No wonder your company is failing. I won't EVER be back. Plenty of other places to give my business! I later asked for his name from the pharmacist. She told me James. Healthcare provider here serving the WeHo and Beverly Hills Community The head pharmacist refused to fill a post-exposure-prophylaxis order because I was calling in a verbal order for it; our EHR was down and I was unable to send them an electronic prescription and as such but the head pharmacist decided that it would be better for the patient to contract HIV instead of help save their life. Deplorable. Love that CVS' main website advertises so heavily that they are here for the LGBTQIA community with PrEP and PEP services but specifically DID NOT PAY their pharmacists to become certified in HIV Care which prevents them from filling the above prescriptions without a physicians order...the State of California passed a law to allow pharmacists to do this for both PEP and PrEP if they have this training as long as the pharmacist provides a list of providers for the patient to follow up with in the next couple of weeks. DEPLORABLE. Shame on you CVS Corporate. Furthermore, the head pharmacist will refuse to transfer prescriptions when initiated by the patient, and refuses to transfer them on my behalf when I called for the patient stating that "This is ILLEGAL", and will ignore the other pharmacies request for the medications to be transferred as well. I asked what law I was breaking and the head pharmacist screamed at me telling me that "I cannot tell them how to do their job". On top of that, the head pharmacist will not fill almost ANY controlled prescription stating that "we do not carry that stuff" despite the head pharmacist filling it for other patients. I have spoken to the pharmacist in question directly with absolutely no support and absolute lack of empathy...have spoken to the pharmacy supervisor (who was kind and understanding on the phone) but has clearly not rectified the issue. I have also directly complained to CVS corporate with zero response. My best advice would be to avoid THIS specific CVS. My recommendation would be to use any other CVS in the area if your insurance forces you to use them... or any of the extremely nice and helpful mom and pop pharmacies in the area. Providers like myself try to do their best to make sure you get your prescriptions that you need, but we also need the help of other medical professionals (like pharmacists) and this head pharmacist for some reason does not want to do their job or abide by the Hippocratic oath. read more

Because of the location this is my go to cvs. They always have "characters" outside and in their parking deck so it's hard to feel safe making a visit here. The pharmacy is a hit or a miss but most of the time it's a miss. Unfortunately their automated system is not always correct and they are regularly out of prescriptions. Calling to check on prescriptions doesn't always feel welcoming. Hopefully this can improve! read more

I rarely shop at CVS but this time I had to stop for tooth paste and spf cream and some eye drops . I usually navigate my way around the store but this time I needed help looking for some of the items I needed and there was no one to help .walked back to cashier to see if she available but she was helping people and she was busy went back till finally I saw someone and he helped me finding what I need . I make it to the cash register as the cashier said something to me about 10 dollar off not being clear that I just signed up for a member ship. Tell I asked her why she didn't say it was a member ship and she said she couldn't cancel it for me. And that I had to call or get on line. I tried both and it was both dead ends. None of the two different 1800 number worked. So I end up calling the same number but this time I choose an option for information about my account. After almost 1 hour on phone. To cancel this It really upset me when trick me into this membership If she would been more clear it's member ship program this would saved us and me at least some value able time The two stars is rated on the training u giving ur employees. An absolute trash chute poor excuse for a pharmacy. I absolutely loathe this place as my experiences here have been nothing but problematic. For starters, good luck ever trying to call this place. They are forever unable to get to the phone. Luckily, I live close by and so I frequent there in-person. In the last 2-3 weeks alone, I've had two of my physicians get into arguments with them because they don't want to fill a script. One of the pharmacists, Jill, always seems to have an opinion on everything and everyone. Without a doubt, Jill is someone who is entirely wayyy too secure in her job. One of the other pharmacists has also given me grief refusing to fill a script after I had spinal surgery basically accusing me of opioid dependency. The surgeon called her and they got into a discussion... surgeon said she's loony and to come back to the hospital pharmacy for the script. I work for a major US employer and we, as a company, signed an exclusivity agreement with CVS Caremark to save roughly $4 million a year on drug costs. We have been inundated with so many complaints nation-wide against CVS Caremark that we have since exited that agreement. I myself am so disgusted with this place, that I am moving all my stuff to another pharmacy. I will also file formal complaints with CVS Caremark against this particular location. I observed her going the extra mile, demonstrating profound empathy to a woman in line, and juggling like eight customers in line with ease. She is sweet, professional, courteous, and an exemplary woman and employee. CVS is lucky to have her and should give her a raise bc, out of all the CVS and Walgreens I have been to nationwide, she is hands down the most personable and efficient employee I have come across. I downloaded Yelp just to make this review. When it was my turn in line, she helped me get my nicotine patches from the locked cabinet, and we shared a few jokes before returning to the register. This review is not a reflection on the Minute Clinic as the doctors there are actually caring and understanding of our needs. The pharmacy, however, is by far the worst pharmacy I've had to go to. My little brother who was here due to having an allergic reaction on his skin and a terrible itch. The pharmacy took an entire hour to fill the prescription that the doctor had prescribed, letting my kid brother sit in agony pleading for relief. I understand that it may take a minute to fill the prescription, however it shouldn't take an hour for vital medication. read more

My friend went to pick up the medication for the surgery she had had that day. Calling different pharmacies revealed that they were not able to disclose whether or not they had the class 3 narcotics she was prescribed in stock. She was turned away without any information on which pharmacy she should try next after telling them she had been to several already (it was after hours and many had closed so her options as to where to go were a bit far from each other.) The women just looked at her and the visible staples in her head from her craniotomy, as she begged for help and they coldly and curtly replied they would not even place the phone call for her. My vital medication was not delivered as I requested, when I went to pick it up the pharmacist charged me twice, suspended my bank account and KEPT MY VITAL MEDICATION saying smugly I had to wait for a refund, another 3 days. I had to go home and get another credit card but imagine if I didn't have that. JILL KOLIN is her name. SHE IS EVIL. Legitimately the worst pharmacy on the planet. Staff is often rude. They cut back the hours for cost savings while improving the overall experience zero. And now to make it even more difficult to get quality service they have a system where you *can't call and speak to a pharmacist*. Instead you have to leave a voicemail and they will call you back "in as little as an hour." 28 hours later - no return phone call. I opted in to text message updates. Again, 28 hours later and no updates. Any time I give feedback when I'm there the staff is rude and doesn't even pretend to care or apologize. How hard is it to say "oh I'm so sorry about that, sir let me help you...". Just awful. I figured maybe if I leave this review someone will actually get back to me. Oh and I got a text saying to call a number so I did and THEIR OFFICES ARE CLOSED. What a joke. read more
