Made an appointment and showed up. Apparently you still have to wait a while even with an appointment. After waiting a while, I asked one of the reception people how much longer I'd have to wait and she straight up ignored me - the other one then said "Did you say something?" as if I stuttered or spoke softly. Not a great precursor. The intake process (vital stats, etc) was super impersonal and cold. Then the provider came in, and honestly she seemed frustrated at my questions. "I don't know how to explain this any better." Well, ma'am, I think you need to realize most of your patients aren't medical experts. She said she would send over my prescription to the pharmacy, but I don't think she even did that because I checked in with the pharmacy and they said they would text me when it was ready, and I never got the text. Idk...if you're paying either way, might as well find a clinic that treats you better. This place sucks. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care, specifically with a medical assistant named Irma. This occurred on 1/24/26 From the moment I checked in, Irma was extremely rude and unprofessional. She insisted that my co-pay was higher than the amount clearly listed on my insurance card. I am very familiar with how insurance works, and I calmly explained that the co-pay listed on my card should apply. Instead of listening, she told me that if I didn't want to pay the amount she quoted, then I did not have to be seen. I asked her directly if she was refusing to provide care, and she said yes. This was especially concerning because I was not a private pay patient -- I came in with active, in-network insurance. I even suggested that they simply bill my insurance and I could pay any remaining balance after the Explanation of Benefits was issued, which is a completely standard process. She refused to do that and insisted it could not be done. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and at one point I was even threatened with the police simply for questioning the incorrect co-pay amount. Ironically, after everything, my actual co-pay turned out to be $25 -- exactly what I had originally explained. If you work in healthcare, professionalism and patient care should be the priority. Unfortunately, Irma's behavior was rude, dismissive, and created an extremely uncomfortable experience for someone simply trying to receive medical care. I wanted to find somewhere to checkup on my congestion over the weekend. Took me a while to find a provider, with my insurance not updating the names and contact info off their website. Many urgent care centers surprisingly don't list their phone number! I called and was able to confirm insurance coverage. Front staff knows right away about my insurance and was helpful when I got there. I did all the forms online while waiting and was seen soon after, as there were patients that registered but not around. The provider was nice and answered all my questions. I realized that my pharmacy is closed and they know which one around they can send to get them filled. The doctor helped resend the prescriptions. Everything went smoothly. read more

I went to urgent care based on pharmacist advice (based on why I went to pharmacy). I went to this urgent care facility and saw the doctor. He was going to prescribe something for me, which were eye drops. They fax RX's to the pharmacy. I get to pharmacy and they couldn't fill the RX because the doctor failed to include instructions (how many drops, how many times per day, etc). I called from the pharmacy for a correction to be sent. The Dr. 'supposedly' faxed in the corrected RX. Guess what? That was wrong too! Dang! He originally told me eye 'drops' then he sent for eye 'ointment'. For goodness sake. By that time the pharmacy was closing and the pharmacist had to try to reach him by phone for clarification (as the pharmacy is closing down the rolling partition). SMH.... read more

Customer service needs major improvement. I had trouble finishing check in online. How are we supposed to check in when it wont work When the internet fails no service ? Companies just want to save money by no longer hiring staff. They only had 2 ppl & one left to lunch. When I asked how I was supposed to check in if it didn't work, they said well that's how the company does it. You hear that ? The COMPANY! The medical industry does not care about ppl, just money. It's not a wellness industry, it's a sick care system. They want to treat everyone like numbers that create income, not ppl Time to see reality. Take care of yourself so you don't need services. Most things can be prevented, obviously except accidents. Take your vits & minerals, drink living water, go out in the sun & sleep well. Oh and try to eat organic & don't wash your produce w tap water, use a filter and one for shower as well. Feel free to ask ? The nurses were a lot friendlier inside. This place is so bad. If you care about your health, don't go here. I went late evening with absolutely no line. I shared my concern with the medical provider who could not even care to give me more than 30 seconds of her time. She was in such a rush and would not listen. So dismissive. She misdiagnosed me, I got worse, and ended up having to spend another $150 at another urgent care. Also front desk is ridiculous. They do absolutely nothing and want you to register and upload your docs on your phone. If you're feeling unwell, the last thing you need is to fumble around your phone. read more

This review is specifically for Dr Liepmann. We've been to this urgent care quite a few times over the years and will continue coming back here as long as Dr Liepmann is here. He honestly takes patient care to a new level. He's so friendly, listens and asks thoughtful questions and truly cares about us every visit. Every time I've seen him he explains with pictures and diagrams what's going on and shares the most recent research on foods/non prescription ways to support recovery (in addition to writing the prescription for us). I have two small kids and I'm always so relieved when I need to bring them in and I see he's the doctor for the day. He's so friendly, warm, and even a bit silly with them - they are so much more relaxed when he's their doctor. I know that because he takes more time with patients, wait times can be longer. But honestly, it's worth it every time. I would rather wait an extra 20 minutes to have a good patient experience and know that my treatment is the best it could be. He's top-tier and I'm so glad we have this urgent care near by when our family needs it. read more

The only reason why I came here was because South Pasadena school district offered free physicals for students. I should've checked the reviews before making an appointment. My appointment was for 3 PM and I waited until 430 to see the Asian nurse practitioner who came in with a big attitude for a whole three minutes. She had my daughter go through some moves and she wasn't even paying attention or looking at her just focused on her paperwork. Don't bother with this location for a free physical just go to your regular doctor. Worst customer service i ever experienced , the receptionist Sheena who has no passion and no empathy towards patients , not willing to help or assist my mother in law who is 80 years old . Sheena is rude and laughing and chatting at the back office. When my mother in law walk out of the bathroom , she yelled in the office asking" did she wash her hands?" . I got there at opening to see a sign that says they're closed for an emergency until tomorrow. No date on the sign just said "tomorrow." Drove to another Exer on Allen and an employee walking in said this location was also closed for an emergency and I should go to the Exer on Lake -- which I told her has a sign on the door saying the same thing. I'm guessing the sudden emergency at all these locations is the Super Bowl. Totally unreliable, never coming back here again. read more

I visited there 2nd time and used the saved QR code to register before going in to avoid sitting in the area full of germs. The young receptionist was rude and said I couldn't do that. I have to use the same QR code that is posted inside the clinic to register. They also posted the QR code outside the entrance door and if someone registered using the QR code outside the entrance door, that person will need to come in to register again. Ridiculous process. In addition, she told me that I could wait outside in the car, but I live nearby and I walked. So walking into clinic to register first and then all back home and walk back to clinic when they suddenly have availability giving you 5 min window to come back doesn't make sense to me. Due to having to register again after receiving email confirmation with time to stop by, pushed me back the line to wait longer. read more

One of the worst urgent cares. Let me start with the positive - front staff is wonderful and there is not much wait time and that is probably because every thing else is bad. They are extremely irresponsible. Took my daughter in with a UTI twice. They didn't treat it right the first time so had to go back. Second time was worse- the NP seemed preoccupied and in a rush. His attitude was rough. He wanted to give my daughter an injection and we asked him to give us two minutes to discuss. He never came back to see us. We had to ask the front desk to give us the prescription. On top of that he FORGOT to send the sample for testing to the lab. Well, my daughter didn't get the right medication and she is sick again, a third time. Please don't go here if you really want to get better. read more

There should be no star review for this urgent care place. It called itself as urgent care. But they only have one PA onsite. No real doctor there. PA is extremely inexperience. Does not seem to care what patient has to say and is afraid to make proper diagnosis with medication due to inexperience. Do NOT waste your money to visit this place. I don't usually post reviews but I was so horrified by what happened at this urgent care I had to share it here. My teenage son had a very swollen lymph node in his neck that had been there for a few days so we went into this urgent care on a Sunday to see what was going on. I told the doctor it seems like he's probably coming down with some thing really bad because it's been that way for a few days. Could we get on antibiotics or something? The doctor felt his neck and listened to it with a stethoscope and said it was extremely abnormal, he didn't think it was a lymph node and that we should call our primary physician and get a CT scan IMMEDIATELY because it could be a TUMOR. Umm...what? My son had just had a CAT scan the week before for a concussion and another doctor friend said afterwords that would be way too much radiation that she would never recommend back to back CT scans like that. Also, a tumor?! We walked out, and I told my son not to freak out since he had basically just been told he had a highly abnormal cancerous tumor in his neck (and I was secretly trying not to freak out myself). We called our primary the next day who laughed at the diagnosis, did a throat swab, and within 10 minutes we found out he just had strep throat. Had this doctor done a simple swab of his throat, we could've gotten antibiotics right then, saved yet another trip to the doctor, and not gone through all of the stress and headache of thinking it was something more dire. I'm only giving this place two stars because there happened to be no wait and we got in quickly. But it was a total waste of time, unnecessary stress, and I would never go back or recommend it. read more

Came here and, Briana, waived me away because THE PHONE NUMBER TO VERIFY ELIGIBILITY DIDNT WORK YESTERDAY! yesterday, not today, yesterday! Anywho... sat down called the VA and only then did she decide she wanted to try and call herself. Went up to the counter where she tried to gaslight me in front of her colleagues. While on hold for the VA, I over heard a loud woman saying how they misdiagnosed her broken finger a while back... crossing my non-broken-fingers for good care.
