Brought my 5 year old son in here after a trampoline injury to his leg. Total visit was about 1.5/2 hrs, including wait time, exam, and X-rays . Check in on your phone. Staff and drs that came in contact with my son were amazing. Dr was very informative about treatment and follow-ups, and what to ask for if I needed to see a primary if things didn't get better. Waiting area could be updated a little with a deep clean, but patient rooms were clean and organized, xray room as well, and overall great experience. Would go again for any future needs. read more

They ran my insurance at the Manhattan Beach location and it was accepted by the X-ray services weren't available there so I drove here only to sit and wait a half hour for them to say they don't take my medical group. We brought in our infant for respiratory symptoms - which we mentioned immediately upon walking in. The receptionist asked us to register and fill out forms, which took about 10 minutes. After completing the forms, we were called to the desk, where the same receptionist informed us that they couldn't treat our daughter, and we should go to the ER. What prevented her from telling us that immediately and saving 10 minutes is beyond our imagination. We'll never return. Don't take your kids here. read more

I have gone to this location several times over the years, but decided the last two times to make an APPOINTMENT online. I had to visit twice in the last two weeks and made an appointment each time. (Jan.4 and Jan.11). The first time I had to wait 2 hrs and 45 minutes, while I watched others who just walked in without appointments being called in. I knew this because there is a screen to show you who has appointments and who are walk-ins. It is also on your cell phone. I questioned the girl at the desk and she replied, "Oh they've been waiting over 2 hours, so we had to call them in. Don't pay attention to that screen.". But, I had an appointment! I had to go back a week later as I was still sick. 40 minutes after sitting and seeing 3 walk-ins taken in .. I decided to question the gal behind the desk (different girl). She gave me the same line about they have been waiting 2 hours. Clearly, making an appointment doesn't mean a thing. Don't bother making one. The ONLY person who would deserve a 5 star review here would be DR.JONATHAN SORCI, who was the first doctor I saw on Jan.4. He was very clear as to my illness and what medications would work. (They finally DID work, but I needed the 2nd repeat dose). He was professional and pleasant. The experience waiting for so long, however, was not good. My daughter needed a sports physical for school, so we went to Exer Urgent Care. The process was quick and easy. I didn't make an appointment and just walked in. I had filled out a form beforehand, which made check-in simple, and there were a few additional forms to complete, but they didn't take long. We were seen within about 15 minutes. Once in the exam room, the nurse checked her vitals, and the doctor arrived about five minutes later. The physical was quick, and we were on our way in no time. The staff was very nice and helpful, and I appreciated how fast everything went. With plenty of parking, the whole experience was even more convenient. read more

First thing upon entry was told to fill out their "tablet" with phone contacts etc. I am 79 years old and don't use my cell phone, only to dial out for emergencies. They made no offer for me to just fill out paperwork, had to use their tablet so I walked out the door. Next day I went back, thinking I would do as much as possible with their tablet. Completed their sign in, but there was more. They sent a message to my phone and I was supposed to complete their paperwork. I told them I wasn't cell phone literate. They just stared at me. Nothing said, just stares. Again, I walked out and will never go back. They should be a little understanding for older people. read more

Walk-in but came here because app said 0 people waiting in line. Arrived and 1 person in line. Took ~1 hour to get called back. Took additional ~30min to get simple xray. Took additional 24min to get discussion with Dr. & CD of images. I have to wait until tonight or Monday for xray report I'm told. Slowest service ever. Exer in MB was wayyyy faster even with 2 people in line and a laceration repair in progress when we arrived recently. We walked in there and were in and out in under 30 min with images and the xray report. Finally, here at the RB location the front desk lady had the nerve to tell me when I'm leaving that she needs five dollars for the CD. Other Exers don't attempt this. Ridiculous. read more

I made an appointment on the website and I had to wait 1.5 hours for an appointment that took 10 min max. I also found out later just when we were next, the doctor went out for lunch. My doctor suggested I go there. Went, waited 2 hours I was still 5 on list. Then they said "oh, we don't take your insurance. The name on your card isn't one we take." They took me off waiting list. Then after my talking about my doctor they said "oh, we'll run the card." They ran the card and said, "oh, we do take this one. Go sign in again." They would not put me back on the list where I was, I needed to start over at position 15. That was after I had already waited 2 hours and it was their fault I was taken off. Never again. When I went up to the front desk, after waiting three hours, I ask how long are they going to take (i was sick and in pain) and I heard a very rude lady tell the person speaking to me say "just tell her to keep waiting!" . I wasn't being rude , I was just worried and trying to give them grace. The doctor and nurse were great! I was instructed to sign in on the app. I went through the whole process and got to the end, and it would not accept my primary care physician's name. When I asked for help at the front desk, I was given a form and told to fill it out. So I had to start all over again. When I had a question, I had to activate the front door in order to get the receptionist's attention. But the most egregious thing that makes me not want to go back is my bill was so messed up that it had to be redone three times. Then when I finally got what I thought was the correct bill 6 months later and paid it, I still got another bill after that saying I owed more money. Fortunately, I was in contact with Exer via email (because I couldn't get anyone on the phone), and that person told me I did not need to pay anything more and to disregard that last bill. I've been to this location 3 times and all 3 times the experiences was nothing but very satisfied with the front desk, nurses, doctors, and radiologist. First time, took my father here because he had a bad reaction to a skin rash. Second time, took my bff here because he hurt his knee from the gym and wasn't able to stand. Third time, last night my mother had a fall and her ankle was in pain and bruised. Called and took her in before they closed and they cleaned her wound up, took her xray, and put a support brace on her ankle. Very lucky it was just a bad sprained and nothing was broken or dislocated. Perhaps it's timing, but everytime we come here the wait is less than 15 minutes and we are seen by the nurses and doctors. They are very thorough. Facility is always bright and clean as they are always wiping down and disinfecting. The exam room have an air purifier and makes us feel safer because of covid. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses here with their patience and knowledge saving us trips to the ER. Easy parking right in front of the clinic. read more

My mom lives nearby and received a quick diagnosis and treatment for a UTI this past Friday. The doctor left her a message the next day on Saturday that she should come in to discuss her results. Of course, the wait was longer, about an hour, because it was a Saturday. However, the doctor still took the care to see her quickly within that hour and tell her that the medication needed to be adjusted because of the additional information received from the lab. Exer was paid by my second insurance company, AARP Medicare Supplement United Healthcare on 8/15/23 and they keep sending me a bill. It has been a nightmare as they keep telling me they were not paid and they DO NOT call insurance companies, and I would need to get the proof that the bill was paid. After MANY calls back and forth to Exer and my insurance company, I finally requested proof from my insurance company to send in with the FINAL bill marked RED as proof that it was PAID! UPDATE: Still fighting the double billing 10/7/24 Another day wasted. Requested a 3-way call with my insurance company to the billing department as the proof I gave them was not enough! This is getting crazy now as this place wants to get paid twice! read more

I have always had positive experiences with this location. Until the most recent visit... I went in because I suspected that I had an ear infection. There were only 5 other patients in the waiting area. Not full at all. I waited three hours to be seen. My suspicions were confirmed as the doctor on duty confirmed it was a severe infection with a perforated eardrum. He prescribed some oral antibiotics for 7 days and no ear drops. Told me that it should start clearing up in three days and to schedule a follow up with my primary care should it not resolve. A week later, it had not resolved and had in fact gotten worse. I went to my primary care clinic for a follow up. The doctor was shocked that I had not been given antibiotic ear drops. The examination confirmed that the infection had worsened and was fungal in nature, not bacterial. I had been prescribed the wrong medication to deal with the issue. After receiving the correct oral and topical antibiotics, the infection began to resolve within the first 24 hours and was completely cleared by day 4. However, the eardrum sustained more damage and I was left with a good deal of hearing loss. Although it is gradually improving, it's still a way off from complete recovery of hearing. As a musician, this is problematic. It was a horrible experience. I hope that I never have a need to go there again. read more

Why does the receptionist believe she can do triage? I came to get a doctor's consult not the uneducated beliefs of the receptionist. She did it to me and three other patients as I waited almost an hour to bee seen. This was not a welcome reception for someone requesting urgent care. Everyone I encountered was superb apart from the front desk attendant. Training on customer care, interpersonal skills, and general demeanor could go a long way in making your clinic a wonderful experience. She sets the tone for the patient and is the face of the clinic. All this said with the understanding that people may not be having a great day. Conversely, Dr. Durham was friendly, communicative , and respectful. I believe he did his best to treat the difficult problem I was experiencing. On 12/23/20 I went to this location for a COVID test following a possible exposure a week earlier. I arrived at 9 am to find the line to check in down the street and hold way around the corner on Elvira Ave. It took an hour to get to the "check in" only to be told the wait for the test would one about 4 hours. Not having transportation I decided to wait. At 6:15 pm (8+ hour wait) I finally received the test. Lots of people approached the reception staff, yelling and complaining about the waits. I was patient, but the temperature went down to the point I was getting numb. After the test the doctor said they would call me within 3- 1/2 hours if the test was positive, otherwise it would be posted last night on their patient portal. It was never posted and no one ever called. When I called them, I was told the results might not be available for several days. The bad part about the experience was not the wait. I understand that patience is important. But there was no place to sit except on the concrete or asphalt. An hour sitting on the ground is bad enough but imagine almost 9 hours. STAFF NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. They all seem to have some sort of superiority complex that they are too good to help people. Great mentality for a place that is supposed to help sick people. If you can't figure some of their flawed technology out, then oh well, I guess you can figure out how to get healthy yourself--because it is not their problem. And heaven forbid they can help if you're disabled and have someone aiding you (guess that's your fault for being disabled too). Doctors are fine. Office personnel are incompetent. They never weighed me or asked what my weight was but recorded it 25 pounds heavier than I am. They took a photo of my driver's license with my date of birth but then recorded a different date. When I alerted them to the error they did not correct it which has caused me hours to get it corrected with my insurance company. read more

I've been here before on referral from my Dr at Keck USC and had a ok experience but not this time. I need blood labs. Every time I go you need to go thru the whole registration again when my info is in the system. This time it took over an hour just to get logged in. It took three people to finally get the sample and I was told that they would not send the results to my Dr. I got a call this morning informing me that there were issues that needed addressing and I might need a transfusion. Was told that they would email results to me and Dr. Was asked for Dr's info and told them it was all on the referral form. Several hours later no email received. I called and was told that it could take several days. I said it was important to get the info and asked to speak to someone and was disconnected. I will NEVER go back! read more
