This imaging center is where I've been getting my annual mammograms. Last month after my routine mammogram, I was called back for an ultrasound due to abnormal findings. I didn't think much of it since this happened a few years ago. To my surprise, after my ultrasound was reviewed by the radiologist, she entered the room and recommended an ultrasound core biopsy on another day. I was not expecting this and felt a wave of different emotions as I left. My core biopsy was scheduled and I wasn't looking forward to the procedure, nor the results. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ultrasound technician Candace and the physician Dr. Snyder performed the biopsy and made sure to communicate what was going to be happening[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It really wasn't as bad as I expected. The shot of lidocaine made the procedure practically painless. I was provided aftercare instructions and left within an hour. This place charged me over $300 for an ultrasound on top of what they charged my insurance!! They have figured out how to manipulate the billing system to maximize what they can get from you. They also charged me $984 for a breast biopsy. They claimed it as a surgery and charged more than insurance will cover for this service. I have excellent insurance and I paid $50 for a breast ultrasound at Ucla 3 years ago. This place is robbing its patients and taking advantage of people when they are most vulnerable. I was so scared when they told me I would need to have all these things done but I trusted that they had my best interest at heart. Now I know it was all about money. So gross. BE WARE! They will tell you as you check in that if you pay up front, they will give you 10% off your bill. That should have been my red flag but again, I was so scared I agreed the first time. read more

I was asked to fill out forms online and arrive 15 minutes early. All that effort preparing to speed up the process was in vain when I sat around for an hour; unable to be seen causing to have to return at a later time. In order to get status of when you'll be seen, you must get dressed to go around to the front desk and ask questions, no one in the back is able to. Ironically, I was complimented on completing intake and submitting insurance card via site, as I facilitated their job. Two weeks later, my doctor's office has yet to receive my results. I have made three calls and left voice messages requesting results; no results, no call back. Not to mention, they billed the wrong insurance last year and that bill is still pending on my account. I've spoken to several billers and no one seems to figure it out. read more

Their scheduling department is horrible! They do not know what they are doing and nobody cares! My doctor had to fax the order 4 times before they would find it. I am not sure how they operate. I'm giving a 3 star review only because the Doctor and Technician were so AWESOME. However, when checking in. My wife and I were met by a receptionist by the name of April. She was rude and not caring or concerned about patients privacy nor special needs. After filing a complaint about how April continued to blurt out my wife's personal business to another receptionist (whom obviously was in total disagreement with her) in front of other waiting patients. I was informed that they had received another complaint just the day prior. Hopefully, Ms. April will be put in check and informed to stay her lane. Went to get my mammogram here the other day. Accidentally left my phone on the seat in the changing room. Five minutes later after my mammogram was done and I realized I had left my phone, it was gone. Searched everywhere there, even the trash, never to find it. Staff never bothered to follow up with me the next day to even tell me it wasn't found. I had to call them. They know who was in and out of the dressing rooms. Will never go there again. read more

The staff and the doctor were friendly but I feel like they did a biopsy that wasn't necessary. I go there for my first time mammogram and afterwards they put me into a different waiting room. There was a couple sad looking patients there and the lady said to me "this is the waiting room where you receive bad news". I was so nervous and thought now that they found cancer. I saw the doctor and she left it up to me if I wanted a biopsy now or if I wanted to wait 6 months to see what it looks like then. So of course I'm thinking cancer and don't want to put this off. I went in for the biopsy and was put into a surgeon type room. They tried to biopsy the section from under neath but couldn't get to it. So they moved my into a room...placed my breast into this machine that fattened it and drilled from the top of my breast all the way down to the bottom. I had NO idea this was going to happen and almost fainted during it.. but I was standing and was trying hard not to faint because I had this drill going through me. Right afterwards I told her I was going to pass out and she replied "Why didn't you let the staff know you were a fainter?" I don't understand why they would drill all the way down when the area was right on the surface on the bottom? Then I was talking to one of the nurses right after and I told her how worried I was that it was cancer and she told me "Don't worry it's not cancer". I was thinking what??? I just went through all this and it's nothing? I was even thinking from the very beginning... How come the doctor can't tell what this is that she's seeing? Doesn't she see thousands of patients and can't tell right off the bat? I work with patients in the optical field and I can tell certain things just by pre testing, what I see and what the patients tell me. Anyways, later I get a bill for $5,800 dollars!!! I called and they told me it wasn't covered under my insurance!! It took me forever to pay it off. I finally had to put it on a credit card because I wasn't paying enough. Worst experience ever! I still think about what happened to me. I got billed for being in a surgical room that I was only in for 10 mins. I should've seen a lawyer but I know it's hard to sue doctors. read more

I agree with Lindsay (see her review). I was called to do a diagnostic ultrasound and mammogram. I was charged over $500. Ok, fine I guess it's not my "included yearly exam". I received yet another bill for almost $200. However realizing that the total is INSANE (I googled to see what the average cash cost is and it's less than $200 for each exam). So I called back to the imaging center. They informed me I had a "zero" balance. That's weird I have a bill for $200. After speaking to the lady for 10 minutes she THEN TELLS ME I have a CREDIT on my account for over $300. Turns out the $200 I owe is not to the imaging center but to the providers of the services. Had I not reached out I would've NEVER KNOWN i had a credit. (My insurance paid more than they anticipated) Then she proceeds to tell me it will take nearly 30 days to receive the refund once it's requested. EXCUSE ME WHAT? They were just going to double dip and keep my money if I never knew or called. So UNETHICAL. REFUSE to pay up front, and wait for your bill. If you have a high deductible ask what the cash price is. Great staff, efficient system, instant results Standout is definitely the staff. Reception is welcoming and the technicians are very nice. My mammogram tech was very gentle, explained everything every step of the way and was always checking to see if I was comfortable. The ultrasound tech was the kindest person ever. She also explained every step she was taking, was very gentle and not rushed. She waited patiently for me to wipe the gel off and put the gown back on before she went out to get the results. When it came back negative, she was clearly happy. She said, I'm so glad I could give you good news. You could tell from her tone that she doesn't like having to give people bad news and that she is genuinely relieved to be able to tell them that they're results are clear. I was really touched by our interaction and I made sure to tell her that I thought she was wonderful. When I went back out to the reception area to get the genetic testing info, I told the reception staff that it was clear and she too was very happy. Someone in scrubs stood directly next to me, removed her shield and stayed next to me so I moved away from her; and I waited in a small waiting room with 5-6 other patients for +40 mins. I had a great experience here today for my first mammogram at age 40. Easy free parking and a nice waiting room. The women at check in are very friendly and made it an easy quick process. I was taken to a locker and dressing room and then a quick 5 minute wait in another waiting room. The nurse took time to explain everything and always checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I never experienced pain or discomfort. I was in and out in 30 minutes. read more

I went in for the first time, for a mammogram and ultrasound. The staff are all very friendly and patient. The waiting area is calm and serene. The fishtank in front is beautiful. They also have a refreshment area in all the waiting rooms, with tea and cocoa. Inside, they provide robes or a shirt-gown (depending on the exam) and a locker where you can keep your belongings. During both my mammogram and ultrasound, the nurse talks to you and explains each step. Before going to my appointment, I was scared, but once I was there, I began to feel calm and not so scared anymore. After both my tests, I was asked to get a biopsy. Both the nurse and doctor helped me step-by-step through each process. It went by so quick and I wasn't in much pain. Only minor discomfort. The following day, a nurse called me to follow up on how I was feeling and wanted to know if I had good care at the Imaging Center. I had excellent care there and I'm very happy I went. read more

This is my 3rd time to this facility and I always had results in less than a week before, in fact I got results 2 days later!
