I treated myself to a mani pedi at this spa on October 28, 2021. The pedi was just ok, she left some calluses on both heels. The manicure was not good. Firstly, she didn't remove my cuticles, so the nail polish was applied next to it and sure enough, when I noticed, there is a 1/6 inch gap that wasn't painted from the nail bed on a couple of nails. I'll have to get them done again, but from somewhere else for sure! read more

Christine worked with me, my bridal party, and my family to coordinate our appointments and she did a stunning job. We all were pleased with our hair and makeup and couldn't have been happier! I also received the oxygen facial the day of my wedding- HIGHLY recommend! My skin was radiant (and still is 4 days later!) Everything from my trial to the wedding day was perfect. Best spa I've ever been to. The entire facility was awesome!!! So clean and tranquil. The women's locker, showers, salon area was so nice. The waiting room had beautiful teas and snacks to eat while you waited for your appointment. I LOVED the Aqua Sanitas before my appointment. I got there 2 hours before and took my time in the mineral pool and steam room. I felt relaxed and invigorated, and I had a great time reading magazines in on the heated tile loungers. Since it was my honeymoon, they gave me and my husband some champagne too which was lovely. My anti aging facial was wonderful. So calming and relaxing and they used really high quality products and tools on my face. My skin felt so hydrated and plump. I had heated mittens on my hands and feet the whole time. It was really wonderful, and Jennifer, my esthetician, was so lovely and made sure I was 100% comfortable. Adore her. read more

When I was writing my review of the Bay Club, I got to thinking what exactly is my favorite gym of all time (for what it's worth, Chelsea Piers probably. but only if you could import the Bay Club's classes and staff). Surprisingly, this one ranks up there. Why is it surprising? because in essence, it's a hotel gym. But, definitely one of the loveliest of hotel gyms. It's not huge but they have always been on the absolute forefront of new equipment and even at the 4:00- 5:00 rush (rush hour is a little different in ski country...), I haven't had to wait for a cardio machine. The staff is super attentive (can I get you new headphones, refill your water, fetch another towel), sporty and kind. As for classes, they take advantage of their location and offer snow-shoeing trips & summertime hikes. Ah, but what I absolutely love here are the showers. Great water pressure, lovely peach scented products, a fully stocked locker room, plush towels, nice hair dryers. read more

I currently reside in an area where Asian nail salons are in abundance. ( translation: cheap, quick, unhygienic and uncomfortable as they communicate in their language). I was looking forward to a spa manicure. What a disappointment. For 50 dollars plus 18% gratuities, I experienced a quick, cheap, unhygienic manicure with thinned down polish. When the streaking and lack of coverage was questioned, I was offered a different color, however, it didn't go on any different. Upon checking out, the staff was unfazed by my experience, actually suggesting the polish gets thinned as a matter of course. They were kind enough to remove the charge , but I was left with the worse polish job and the feeling that I had just wasted an hour of my valuable time. Also, the same box of manicuring tools were used on the next client ...I never saw them cleaned! Nauseating! read more

Hands down, best spa I have ever been to and I have probably been to 20 or 25 over the years in places all the way from Hawaii to Vegas. Probably the easiest way to handle this review is just to list a series of bests: Best Pre Treatment area - Multiple pools, rain showers, steam rooms and a room with heated lounge chairs that was awesome. The only oddity was that they separated the men and women in these treatments in a way that did not make a lot of sense. No big deal but a little weird. Best Couples Treatment Area: Everything self contained so that her majesty and I had all of our treatments, including the vichy showers in one place without ever having to move. Best Massage - I had the deep tissue combined with the oil scalp massage, The amazing thing was that I received this treatment after two days in the slopes where I was completely exhausted and walked out ready to ski again. Amazing. Best Customer Service - Not only were they willing to accommodate our rescheduling from one day to another at a moment's notice, but they were also entirely happy to have one of their guys somewhat perpetually shuffle back and forth to the bar to make sure I did not run out of whiskey while I was in the facility. All of this with a smile to where I genuinely believed they were happy to do it. As with most things of value, this place is not cheap. I think we spent about a grand for an afternoon's worth of services, but it was totally worth it. If you have the means, this is highly recommended. read more

Fabulous massage. Wonderful service. Beautiful facilities. Be prepared for it to be expensive. It really is. I suggest finding deals on Spafinder gift cards (yes they take them). But if you really want to spoil yourself, this is the best place I've found in Colorado. I had a 75 min body polish. The Vichy shower was great. And it ended with a massage. All wonderful indulgence. They outdoor pool and 5 different hot tubs are fun, even in the winter if it is sunny. And I love water. A good spa needs to have hot tubs and steam rooms. And this place has it. (Except the steam room is in the fitness locker room, so you have to cross over there and it is a noisier area). The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The spa was lovely. After several days of skiing, enjoying a massage and dip in the spa pools was the only way to get the kinks worked out. The waiting areas and locker room were standard as far as most quality spas go. They were stocked with flavored water, tea, and lite snacks. I recommend the scented lavender oil! read more

Minus stars!!! Went to a pedicure and technician proceeded to dip my feet in boiling hot water three times and said she didn't know how to work the temperature controls then....scrape off my skin on the top of my foot while scrubbing with file aggressively . I pulled away because it hurt! She continued and I started bleeding! She said sorry and instructed me to put my cut foot back in the water!!!!! Not the proper procedure in Colorado!!! After a few seconds I politely told her I would like to end the service and she said fine and tried putting my sandals back on scraping the wound again and I just told her I would do it! I went to the front spa manager and they asked me if I would like to cancel the rest of our services for the day and I said maybe but I would talk to my husband first. We told the front hotel desk to cancel and they said they would speak to them. I was not going back in there I was so embarrassed! The front desk gave me a Band-Aid and some disinfectant and were helpful. The spa called later and said that we would be charged for our services because it was less than 24 hours!!!!!!!! Unbelievable !!!!!! They are lucky they don't get sued they did not follow proper procedures for DORA licensing in the state of Colorado and caused an injury!!! Horrible customer service and horrible experience!!!!!!!! I doubt they even properly documented the incident!!!! I will be turning them in! read more

We came for a girls spa day and purchased massages during off season. I love coming here off season when you can enjoy the best spa deals from Travel Zoo or Groupon. The massages have always been great. I upgraded to the stone massage this time as it's been a long time since I've had one. Actually I preferred the regular massage because they put a scrub and warm towel around your feet and I missed that part with the hot stone. This is my favorite spa in Colorado because I like the hot tub, the steam room and the heated tiled beds. I was bummed out this time because the steam room didn't work and was cold. Not sure what was happening but a few girls let the front know but the steam never fully turned on during the day. The heated tiled beds are so relaxing and warm I could hang out there with magazines all day long. I so need one of these in my house. We will be back next year and we had a great day just relaxing in the spa. read more

This is my favorite spa ever. Pricey, but I have always gotten great quality for spa treatments here and have tried massages, body wraps, and facials. Recently expanded spa at the Hyatt BC. Beautifully and well laid out spa. I have been here over many years and the recent expansion is definitely a great move for Allegria. It is expensive but worth it. Check in early and enjoy the gym, pool, hot tubs and saunas (the new steam room on the second floor of the spa is unreal) that are all included in your treatment price or you are making a huge mistake. Therapist are very good, rarely have I had a bad treatment. Treat yourself (or a friend) here after a day on the slopes, you can thank me later. read more

I've been getting massages at Allegria for nearly 15 years now, it's always been good, but I've been away for a few years, and the experience that my husband and I had this past March was truly exceptional......They've really stepped up their game. World class service and facilities from first contact through check out. Truly the best theraputic massage EVER, we both had really talented therapists who were able to help us with some painful issues, the mineral bath was great, but then the heated loungers that looked like torture devices turned out to be HEAVEN. Every person we had contact with....From the front desk, to the spa housekeepers, our exceptional massage therapists, and the desk people.....Were gracious, professional, and caring. Allegria Spa is a wonderful facility in every way! Kate who gave me my manicure was awesome! They use CND Vinylux polish which is the best non-shellac polish on the planet! My manicure lasted 7 days chip free! Best kept secret are the fitness center and the Agua Sanitas. For my $45 (including tip) I got use of both facilities. Other reviewers have covered it in detail, but a few tips: * Call the spa in advance to ask if the baths are busy. If they are, ask when they forecast a quiet time. The staff are very helpful with this sort of info. * The shower and locker facilities (for men at least) are very fully-featured. Showers, razors, aftershave, mouth wash, q-tips, hair gels and the like. Don't rush through it. * The highlight is the steam room (roman name forgotten, apologies). This past weekend was my sister's wedding at Beaver Creek and I was co-maid of honor. Kandace was my stylist for the big day and it was the best hair and makeup experience I have ever had. I would even go as far to say that it was on par with my own wedding hair/makeup three years ago - and I loved my wedding stylist! What made Kandace so great was not only the amazing results but also she listened to my ideas about what I had in mind, gave her own expert advice, and took her time. But she was also very efficient. To boot, Kandace is just one of those kind, lovely, winsome people who you can absolutely enjoy sitting with for an hour and a half appointment. I was so excited, after 2 awesome but exhausting ski days, to have a little pampering at a "luxury" spa in Beaver Creek. I opted to just have a nice relaxing "Spa Pedicure" for $90 plus 18% tip... typical spa pricing. The actual "Spa" area of Allegria is exactly what I expected... tranquil, elegant, luxurious, and relaxing. With soft "spa like" music playing in most areas, water features in most of the "quiet" rooms, nice amenities including hot tubs, sauna, warm stone chairs, etc. Then, in my fancy robe and slippers after an hour of luxury spa enjoyment.. the anticipation of my 55 minutes of a pedicure pampering was upon me. I am told to go back to the front desk (outside of the calming spa area, which I didn't think anything of) and am lead to the "Nail Salon." The room is BLINDINGLY bright (nice picturesque window with the snow but not relaxing at all. The room itself is bizarre and looks like every cheap nail salon I have ever been to (4 massage chairs, 4 generic hand stations, and sterile/yellow walls). Terrible. I sit down in my chair, immediately disappointed in the ambiance but still optimistic for my pedicure. The nail technician asks me for water which is standard. And this may sound snobby but every nice salon I have ever been to will usually also ask if I would like hot tea or something... nope. I had to ask her and although she didn't complain, she said she would have to go upstairs to fetch it (which seemed odd). So I get in the chair (with luke warm water) and wait in this extremely bright, sterile, unrelaxing room. Remember the calming/lovely music they had playing throughout the other, nice area of the spa? Not happening in the nail room, Basically playing a hip-hop station. The actual service starts and the pedicure itself is fine (3.5 out of 5 stars for the actual pedicure). But in paying the extra $20 for the "SPA" pedicure, the description read "Massage, leg mask, etc." It was hardly anything of the sort. I got some hot towels on my legs after lotion was applied, a quick rub maybe... the "massage" they referred to was just the massage chair? Congrats, every nail salon has massage chairs. And then to boot - in the course of the 55 minutes... one of the landscapers drives by in his loud snow blower vehicle and is outside for about 5 minutes, at one point directly outside the window facing in (zero blinds - reason for the excessive brightness too). And then 15 minutes later, the window washer comes to the window and, like I am in a fish bowl, washes the windows for 5 minutes... again directly looking in, at me in my robe getting a pedicure... AND MY NAIL TECH WAVES AT HIM! WTF? I would go to the spa but would AVOID the nail salon if you are looking for a nice relaxing way to spend $110! read more

I was recently at Allegria Spa for a morning of manicures, pedicures and updos on my wedding day with my bridesmaids, my mom and my now mother in-law. All of us had an excellent experience. I was extremely pleased with the spa in itself - it's gorgeous! The locker rooms and shower areas were really nice as well and had great products available to use. The spa/salon is broken up into different sections/rooms, which is nice to have an area to yourself. he nail staff was great too - one got our schedule really messed up, though, and ultimately ended up making us a little late due to an improper Shellac application after complaining about not liking Shellac, which is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, the nail experiences were all positive. I had an updo and makeup application with Katie and she did an absolutely fabulous job. I had a trial updo elsewhere and was very disappointed, but Katie was thoughtful and conscientious about keeping me involved throughout the whole design of my hair; she listened to what I wanted and made sure that is what I got. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience at Allegria. It was a perfect way to start my wedding day! read more

I am writing about the Spa Services at Allegria Spa. Specifically, I'd like to write about the Hot Stone Massage I had recently...what a delight. Hot rocks don't sound relaxing, but the therapist explained what would transpire, and I got under the comfy blankets and got ready for the treatment. I could choose my 'flavor' of oil, and I chose arnica since I was slightly sore from skiing, and settled in. I hung my robe on the heated towel rack...nice touch. The therapist draped me like an expert, never letting me feel 'exposed.' Hot oil and hot stones warmed me through and through, and even though I thought I would miss the touch part of the massage, I found hot stones did a great job and getting deep. My cold feet were thoroughly warmed, and my body was relaxed and felt great. Expensive but worth it! read more

This spa placed inside the Park Hyatt is very nice looking. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. I got a manicure the first day. Now I'm very picky with my nails and manicures since I get them frequently back at home. This nail salon did not do any better than my home place and for $60, I expected a lot more. It's been 3 days and my nails are already chipping! The healing waters 5 pools are nice and relaxing, but I felt kind of dirty walking around with no slippers, even tho they provided them. I received a swedish massage by Mindy who was awesome! I felt very relaxed. Then there was the facial. I was somewhat disappointed that they used the clarisonic brush, which I already have at home, so it didn't feel any different for me. Overall, I can see why people would love this place, but it's very pricey. And again, I guess since it's a spa, I expect top notch nails and better facial products. read more

Never had to write a bad review. My husband and I wanted to have a nice weekend away for our anniversary so we booked a weekend at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek. I scheduled a Mani pedi and the girl that did my service was gross, she smelled like a ash tray and whatever bar she had been at the night before not to mention the visiable tattoos on her arms. You would think that would be the worst but not even close the conversation was highly inappropriate for a spa it was more like an episode of Jersey Shore, just trashy. I wouldn't recommend having your nails done at this spa and when I asked the lady at the end when paying if she was new she said she had been working there for years and that she cut hair too, Yelp was my first thought. I wondered why they would keep this person employed there and then I just thought I'll write a review and hope that I at least warn people of what they might get when booking a appointment at the Allegria Spa. read more
