Johnny made everything so easy and was great about keeping me updated every step of the way. Communication was clear from start to finish, and he was always happy to answer my many questions. The repair itself turned out amazing. My car honestly looks like nothing ever happened, and I'm so happy with how it came out. Hopefully I won't need collision repairs again anytime soon, but if I do, I know where to go!

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I took my car in at the beginning of August for…read moreextensive damage on the right side of the car and minor damage on the left side, and to the best of my recall the bumper had to be removed. When I picked up the car, I immediately noticed scratches on the left side of the hood, 6 inches wide and 3 inches high. I informed Johnny that they were not there when I had taken the car in. He informed me that he had had noticed them prior to any repair on the car. I have had my car for two years and I am meticulous with taking care of it. I am always checking the car for any scratches or damage. He suggested that the scratches had perhaps been caused by car wash brushes. It has always been hand washed. We went back and forth via text. He advised me that he was going to check with his employees and ask them if the scratches were already there when I took the car in. First of all, since he had informed me that he had noticed that the scratches were already there when I dropped of the car, then why is there a need to check with his employees? He was contradicting himself. He left me a message and wanted to speak with me. What was the point? He was just going to continue to deny that they were already there. I did not call him back. I texted him and told him that I was not going to write a review, as I knew that he would respond and continue to deny that the scratches were already there. I took my car to Caliber Collision in Chino and discussed perhaps painting my hood. The manager I spoke with immediately noticed the scratches and informed me that it was obvious that an object had been placed there which had caused the scratches. I have NEVER laid anything on my hood. It was just further confirmation for me that the damage had been the result of carelessness by one of his employees. These scratches can't be buffed out. In addition, he charged me $500 for the repair done of the left side. More than once he kept telling me that he was not making any money as he was going to give the money to his employees. I paid him and as far as I am concerned, he made $500. I don't care what he did with that money. I have learned a very difficult lesson. This experience has taught me the need to take videos and pictures of my car should I ever need repairs in the future. I had told him that I was not going to waste my time and write a review, as he would just continue to deny this issue. However, after the manager at Caliber Collision confirmed that the damage had been done by an object being placed on the hood, it just confirmed what I thought and I decided to write this review. While I already know that in his response, he will continue to deny the damage that was caused by one of his employees, I decided to write this review as a way to inform prospective customers and advise that it is a good idea to video/take pictures of your car prior to any work being done. Accidents happen. It is just frustrating that he would not own up to it.

I wait for updates and they text me the car has been extended to 8/05/26 which is an acceptable circumstance because cars are unpredictable sometimes. On 8/04/26 they text me at 3pm to tell me the car will not be finished until 8/06/26 which is highly unprofessional given they know what they need to replace or order to ship. Again, I wasn't as frustrated because shipping can always have unexpected times too. I don't say anything and wait until 8/06/26 to pick the car up, as I texted them to pick the car up because no one contacted me or gave me a notice on 8/06/26, they proceed to text me the car will be needed for another day FOUR hours after contacting Caliber Collision to pick up my vehicle. I then kept my calm and asked them to tell me in advance and not at the time of pickup that my car will be delayed. The cherry on top, when the car was completed, they texted me 7 minutes before they closed on a Friday (they aren't open weekend/close very early) which is so funny to me. I wait over the weekend to pickup my vehicle because luckily I had my own rental covered, Monday comes and I head to the collision place to pick the vehicle up. Here's all the issues listed when I picked the vehicle up. Estimate was increased by 180.58$. My intake MAF sensor had a fault which was from them breaking a clip and the sensor wasn't plugged in when I drove off from the collision store. My intake, the part that transfers outside air to your turbo/engine so it can run correctly was not even connected to my turbo underneath the car. (I fixed it and took proof before I touched the car.) Luckily my mechanic has taught me more than these "highly skilled certified technicians" know about cars because the noise the car was making isn't normal for any car to make and should have never been given to a customer. Imagine hearing a airplane engine fly by, smh. So I drove home while the car was jerking due to no airflow being given to the turbo and fixed it after scanning the car but my car threw an engine code and had no boost the whole drive home which is a huge safety issue considering the car couldn't get up to speeds. Onto the next issue, they didn't properly reline my fender with my passenger door, the first 10-15 open & closes the door was scraping along the fender until I got enough paint off for it to not scrape anymore, not a issue for me since this is a 10 yr old BMW but "highly skilled" remember. Other issue, fender and hood don't line up with the side of the car that has no damage, there's about a 1in gap from the fender, headlight and hood. As of 8/11/26, I double checked my battery to reset my ECU/codes that they couldn't fix, and the battery negative terminal was only halfway on, amateurs once again. Luckily I don't care enough to go back because at this point I don't know how long they'll keep my car or what they will destroy more of. Other than the unprofessionalism and overpriced bill that insurance covered, I got the car back looking decent for the damage that did happen but with this being said, please please please don't waste your time and money at this shop, I could do better work on my own car than they did and I know basic maintenance and understanding of body work.
