1st issue was I was told the car would be done in a week in person after the estimate was done on 7/24/26 and as I left they told me 8/04/26 so I didn't mind since that's the expected date I was going to get my car to handle business. I wait for updates and they text me the car has been extended to 8/05/26 which is an acceptable circumstance because cars are unpredictable sometimes. On 8/04/26 they text me at 3pm to tell me the car will not be finished until 8/06/26 which is highly unprofessional given they know what they need to replace or order to ship. Again, I wasn't as frustrated because shipping can always have unexpected times too. I don't say anything and wait until 8/06/26 to pick the car up, as I texted them to pick the car up because no one contacted me or gave me a notice on 8/06/26, they proceed to text me the car will be needed for another day FOUR hours after contacting Caliber Collision to pick up my vehicle. I then kept my calm and asked them to tell me in advance and not at the time of pickup that my car will be delayed. The cherry on top, when the car was completed, they texted me 7 minutes before they closed on a Friday (they aren't open weekend/close very early) which is so funny to me. I wait over the weekend to pickup my vehicle because luckily I had my own rental covered, Monday comes and I head to the collision place to pick the vehicle up. Here's all the issues listed when I picked the vehicle up. Estimate was increased by 180.58$. My intake MAF sensor had a fault which was from them breaking a clip and the sensor wasn't plugged in when I drove off from the collision store. My intake, the part that transfers outside air to your turbo/engine so it can run correctly was not even connected to my turbo underneath the car. (I fixed it and took proof before I touched the car.) Luckily my mechanic has taught me more than these "highly skilled certified technicians" know about cars because the noise the car was making isn't normal for any car to make and should have never been given to a customer. Imagine hearing a airplane engine fly by, smh. So I drove home while the car was jerking due to no airflow being given to the turbo and fixed it after scanning the car but my car threw an engine code and had no boost the whole drive home which is a huge safety issue considering the car couldn't get up to speeds. Onto the next issue, they didn't properly reline my fender with my passenger door, the first 10-15 open & closes the door was scraping along the fender until I got enough paint off for it to not scrape anymore, not a issue for me since this is a 10 yr old BMW but "highly skilled" remember. Other issue, fender and hood don't line up with the side of the car that has no damage, there's about a 1in gap from the fender, headlight and hood. As of 8/11/26, I double checked my battery to reset my ECU/codes that they couldn't fix, and the battery negative terminal was only halfway on, amateurs once again. Luckily I don't care enough to go back because at this point I don't know how long they'll keep my car or what they will destroy more of. Other than the unprofessionalism and overpriced bill that insurance covered, I got the car back looking decent for the damage that did happen but with this being said, please please please don't waste your time and money at this shop, I could do better work on my own car than they did and I know basic maintenance and understanding of body work. read more

This location has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever dealt with. I got into an accident in December and had to bring my car back seven times over two months, and the worst part is they never even fixed the actual issue. Every time I picked up my car, I was told everything was fixed. Multiple people lied to my face about repairs being completed, only for my bumper to start coming loose again shortly after leaving. It felt like I kept getting the runaround every single visit. At one point, I left my car there for a full day because they told me they needed more time to properly fix everything. When I came back, I later found out they had hot glued my bumper back on instead of actually fixing the problem. Meanwhile, the real issue was my headlamp, which they never properly addressed. They also kept saying their work was covered under their "warranty," and during one visit they told me they were going to fix it under warranty. They had my car for about 25 minutes, told me it was fixed, and sent me on my way. Eight minutes into driving, my bumper started falling off again. That's when I knew nothing had actually been repaired. What also doesn't make sense is that when I contacted my insurance, they told me I should leave my car there for the entire day so the shop could properly fix it. But if they supposedly fixed it in 25 minutes, why did they previously need my car for a full day? The whole situation just didn't add up. I even took my car to another shop for a second opinion, and they pointed out missing screws and poorly installed aftermarket brackets that weren't aligned correctly which explains why my bumper kept falling off in the first place. On top of everything, they wouldn't even let me speak to a manager despite me asking multiple times. It wasn't until my uncle came in with me that they finally allowed me to speak to someone. I also honestly felt disrespected as a woman, because my concerns weren't taken seriously until I had a man there advocating for me. After seven visits, two months of back and forth, multiple promises, and their so-called warranty repairs, the issue still wasn't fixed. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This has been nothing but a headache and a waste of time. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

Had Caliber (Chino) take in my 2022 Tesla Model S. They then towed the car somewhere in Orange County where that location specializes in Tesla repairs. Had my entire front bumper pulled off by a driver and needed full repair. They took the car and repaired it in about 10 days or so. When I was told to pick up the car the car was in route being towed. Waited for almost 1 hour. They then failed to install the front license plat bracket. I told them about it and they sent a tech to my house and put a bracket not fully painted similar to how the car was sold to me from Tesla. The tech adhered the bracket which is at least 4-5 pounds with double sided tape. The license plate and the bracket fell about 1 hour from the time it was installed. I complained to the person who managed the claim (Ismael) said it would be taken care of right away. So far I've been waiting for almost 2 months to get it done right. Not happy with the service nor level of professionalism. Expected way more than this from Caliber. read more

I had a horrible experience with them today. My wife scheduled an appraisal for repairs today and was told by the receptionistit wpuld take 30 minutes. When i get there t he receptionist said that we made an appointment to have the repairs done. Ok, i can see if there was some miscommunication during scheduling. I left my car and they had me sign three documents but I was clear that I wanted no repairs started before I saw the estimate and ok'd the work. The receptionist said she would photo copy the three signed papers and give me copies. She walked away, came back and gave me a set of copies, which I did not look over. I took them and left. Later, I had to call them because it was towards the end of the day and no phone call. I was there at 815am. My wife called and they said they had the car disassembled and estimate almost ready and that they would start the repairs. This was past 4pm. But I wanted to clear things up with insurance before anything was started. They said I had already okd starting the repairs and that I was aware of a $500 if we did not have the repairs done. The persons that helped me, the receptionist and the appraiser, neither of them told me this. I looked over the copied documents they gave me as i left and there were two extra pages I was not shown. Neither has my signature because I never saw them. And one was the about the cost of the estimate if I didn't foolw through with repairs with. When my wife brought this up with them, but okd the repairs and just said we really needed the car back as soon as possible. Then she receives a text from someone whom I assume is a manager and said i knew about the fees and that they stopped the repairs and would have car ready for pickup tomorrow. We called him back and eventhough he tried to sound friendly, he just made it sound like we were the problem and asked us to pick up our car. He said it was obvious that he couldn't do anything to satisfy us. No ownership of the possibility that maybe they made a mistake, but instead we were the one's that could not be satisfied. Eventhough we did ask them to procede with repairs. The worst part was the manager's attitude like we did something wrong. read more

I brought my car in on April 7th. I've been told multiple times since then that my car would be completed. It is now May 5th, and after being told numerous times that it would be ready and was left on read, how are you going to casually just say "oh, now it's ready, sorry I didn't read your message. It's been ready since this morning.." Absolute joke for my insurance to recommend me something like this. Don't even bother. They claim good customer support, but they barely respond. Strings of messages being left on read and being responded with "we have to extend your completion date" is ridiculous. Updating this review and am not happy. I've had my car back since 5/7 and upon receiving it, had a missing wheel bolt, missing air vent piece, and as of today (5/11), now have something dangerously rattling in the front of my car near the tire missing the bolt. I will be returning tomorrow to the location to figure these issues out. Jorge is a nice guy, but I am unfortunately disappointed with the end results. Be aware - Caliber Collision and Caliber Auto Glass are not the same. It appears that Auto Glass is a subcontractor at only some of the Caliber locations. DO NOT take your car here youll get it back with missing pieces and then make up excusses on the part being on back order but it's been over a year and havent heard a thing from anyone only when i left a bad review they followed up with we dont have your part yet and now 3 years later still no call back or anything must be a really rare part to come by these days. The accident happened during the holidays and didnt expect to hear from them right away but Lincoln gave me an update after they got the car in 1-2 days. He even told me when he'll be off vacation and followed up if I heard from my insurance as they submitted their estimate before he left. I had the WORST experience at Chino Hills Caliber collision. I was in an accident in the middle of September. My vehicle was towed to Caliber collision. They "took my car apart" and sent me over an estimate for repairs, we approved and they began work. A week and a half later I went to pick up my car, I noticed the hood wasn't sitting right and they said to bring it back in Saturday for an adjustment. Once I got my car home I inspected further and found so many things wrong. The paint was bubbled. My hood wasn't sitting in place. my bumper wasn't bracketed correctly and was popping in and out under my headlights, the latch on the hood had been adjusted so the hood would close, my hinges weren't replaced and the rubber seals near my window were flapping. So we took it back. The manager came to talk with us and said the hinges weren't replaced as they should've been, the bushings weren't replaced and that they would make the adjustments to the paint and frame. We went back and forth on my car not being fixed correctly 4 times! Finally I gave up because they weren't fixing it and my service advisor was rude and made me feel like an inconvenience. They had my car for a month. So those "repairs" were just under $8k. I took it to Caliber in Ontario and they saw what I saw. They took it in and did the repairs for me. They did a body pull to fix my frame. fixed my tie bar. Replaced my headlights. Replaced parts of the metal frame among many other things. Chino even had me drive off with parts MISSING that Ontario had to replace that should've been there. Another $4k on repairs. And another week and a half later. My car probably should have been totaled. My car still makes weird noises when parking and driving. But at least it looks normal again. I will never use or recommend chino Caliber again. read more

Horrible service. My car was brought in here for repairs. When I came to get my stuff out of the car, I saw they had thrown and shoved all of the metal panels inside of my car and tried to close the trunk but they didn't fit. Cracked the inside of the trunk door, tore my leather seats by then throwing metal on to the seats to make it fit. Crushed two bottles of oil by putting the metal on them which leaked everywhere. I pointed it out and the manager came out with an attitude and asked if it was before or after they suggested it be a total loss. How am I supposed to knowvwhen you did it? And it doesn't matter because its still my car and hasn't been released and I was planning on retaining it. They dont get to decide that. How it's that his response? He said he'd call me to see what we could work out but a week has gone by and he never called and won't return my calls. I'd recommend taking your car elsewhere and avoid the hassle and further damages. They also replied to my Google review asking to message them but they never replied or hit me up. Seems like they just wanted to make it look like they care on Google. read more
