My wife and I went to this Stage Road location about 3 weeks ago. Prior to that, we hadn't been there in maybe 3 years because of their extremely limited hours during Covid. We've always really enjoyed their large sausage pizza. It was distinctively different from other pizza shops across the city. Unfortunately, post Covid has apparently had a serious impact on quality AND taste. Add to that, the front seating area, facing Stage Rd was closed off for patrons, forcing everyone to sit in the main restaurant area. Apparently they expected few customers, but while we were there, more and more people came in. Well me and the wife used to really love going to this place. Last few times we've been in there just hasn't been the same. Hoping things change. Pizza was a little overcooked last couple times we've been there. This time we went, our waitress had stuff hanging out of her nose. It kind of made me lose the appetite that I had. The toppings are far too many to the point they are falling off. There is no crispness in the crust whatsoever. I can't taste the sauce- it is bland. This was my husband and I's first and last time getting pizza from here. The crust was extremely thin, flimsy and uncooked. The prices are ridiculously high for such low quality food. The sauce is not very good and extra toppings are expensive. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks that were super uncooked and the cheese wasn't gooey at all. The waitress finally came and took our order.She was not nice and only spoke to us,to take the order. We were the only people in there. So,later in walks about four people all white,child this lady came out of nowhere "Hey!!" How y'all doing? Hee Hee Ha! WTF? The only thing she needed was some tap shoes and that thing would have given them a show I was ready to "Read" her when the food came to our table. This is an example of exactly how to not get a customer to return. While the pizza was good, it took an hour and 20 minutes to hit the table. The place was not overly busy but the inattentive service made me get my own sodas from the waitress station and retrieve my own pitcher of beer from the bar.
