    TRUFFLE CHEESE FRIES
    Mariah M.

Take out order - did not disappoint! Wings were so good and the truffle fries were amazing. The sauce hakuna matata is not spicy and has more of a mustard flavor. Got it because I ordered these later in the night and didn't want super spicy. Would recommend over and over.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. The wings and fries weee great and the owner quite helpful. Just a FYI those F~€k around and find out wings definitely taught me. I llllllooooovvvvveeeee spicy food, but those had me sweating off the first bite. The flavor is great, the spice is on another level.

    Chicken Tenders + Sauces

WOW. Was walking near my hotel trying to find a bite to eat and could not have stumbled on a better spot. The food is incredible! Ordered the chicken tenders and the fire fries - you need them both. -The chicken was seasoned to PERFECTION and the wingman sauce is . The spices, sauce and presentation were all intentional and so, so good. -The housemade ranch is perhaps the best I've ever had. -Loaded fries were equally as tasty. Big portion and the distribution of the toppings made each bite amazing. The staff was gracious and super helpful. It was one their first days open and you couldn't tell! Food came out quick, was incredible and the vibe was on point. Can't wait to be back on my next work trip. Jealous you locals have this spot in your neighborhood!

    Honey Mi Hot

Food was great! They are definitely delicious wings! Service was poor they only had one person doing everything he was bartending, greeting, cooking and serving. He was a great guy though. The ambiance was good, the only thing that is annoying is that the seating is very uncomfortable. It's set up like a waiting room or a lounge. There should be more tables and lighting.

The atmosphere and decor of this coffee shop are both inviting and antique bringing feelings of the historic times and souls once living in the area. The "team"working here were both professional, kind and friendly. When eating in your entree is hand delivered with a smile in a timely manner. I even got a brief visit from the supervisor/possible owner asking if I needed anything and how everything was going. When I replied with a positive experience he said he will pass on the word to the team. I liked that he gave credit to everyone/team. I will definitely return when in town for business and recommend to my colleagues.

The aesthetic is really well done. It's warm, modern, and just a place you actually want to hang out in for a while. The staff were great and super helpful, especially when it came to working around a few syrups they were out of. They offered substitutions without any fuss, and it honestly worked out for the better. All of their syrups are made in-house, and you can really taste the difference! They're fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. We ordered a Bourbon Mocha and a Carrot Cake Latte (which was absolutely to die for), and decided to keep breakfast on the lighter side with a slice of sourdough and two cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls, though, are not your typical style. Instead of the usual big, fluffy roll, they spiral the dough tightly and bake it that way. The result is this super fun, peel-apart situation where you're unraveling layer after layer. It feels like there are eight layers of cinnamon-sugar goodness to work through! Overall, Hustle & Dough has great coffee, thoughtful house-made syrups, unique pastries, and a really welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I'd go back to next time I'm in Memphis.

The food and coffee was so delicious. I wouldn't say I'm a food snob, but I'm particular about breakfast foods, and this made me very happy. We each ordered a coffee and the bacon potatoes to share. I ordered the Juniper Benedict and my friend ordered the loaded biscuits and gravy. The bacon potatoes were cooked perfectly, soft and slightly crunchy with plenty of cheese and bacon. The eggs in my eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and they used a regular house-made biscuit that soaked up the egg yolks perfectly. The restaurant was pretty big, but the ambiance felt like a small-town diner. The staff was super kind and attentive, too. The cost is par for the course for a nice diner in a big city. TLDR: Not a bad word to say about this place.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!
