If my layover is long enough, this is the second place I go (coffee first). There seems to always be a clearance rack in the right back corner, but I like to meander around the women's section first, feeling most of the merchandise, and there is some soft stuff here. Pricey, but soft, comfortable feeling and well constructed clothes. The middle section of the store has some interesting travel accessories that you might not be able to live another day without. My hubby pointed out some insect repellent socks because he knows how mosquitoes have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on my skin. Of course, they have the usual zip-the-legs-off pants. I just wish they had that dress that can be worn fifty different ways! read more

I had the oddest and most frustrating encounter with customer service regarding an on-line order. I placed an order on-line and received a confirmation email. A couple of days later I received an email from the company saying my order was canceled. I contacted a rep on live chat. She told me that the order was canceled because they could not verify my address with the credit card issuer.(?) I initially thought that perhaps I mistyped my address, but I confirmed with the rep that they had my correct address. I'm perplexed but I went back to the ExOfficio web site and placed the exact same order, this time using another credit card. Same thing happened - order canceled. Same reason. I contacted my credit card company and they advised me that the transaction had been approved. I contact customer service again, and I am told the same story. I tried to explain that a credit card transaction would be rejected if the address provided didn't match my address of record. Their response was "I'm sorry, we can't place the order if we can't verify you address". I went back and forth with them until their final response was "we're sorry that your expectations were not met". Expectations not met? You mean like not having my order filled for no logical reason, forgive me for being unreasonable. I suppose I could have used PayPal, but I was too pissed to want to give them my business. read more

I love the high-tech clothes and gadgets but this store is way overpriced and the sales gals always have an attitude of indifference. Maybe because it's at an airport and there is are no windows! I'm in the adventure travel field and have been lucky enough to have been gifted several pairs of their quick dry undies. They are amazing - no reason ever to bring more than 2 pairs on any trip, whether you're going to Papua New Guinea or Paris. However, the crotch can catch on fire. I know this because I was drying them out in front of a little fireplace in a remote hacienda in the Andes somewhere in Ecuador. I was laying in bed when I smelled smoke. I looked up to see that my hanging panties in front of the fire had caught flying embers from the fireplace and the crotch was on fire and smoldering. It was the most action my quick dry panties had ever seen. Bottom line - air dry. Conveniently located in SEA on the way to exotic places. read more

I love Ex Officio clothes, but they have some severe sizing problems; AND if you ever need to contact them by phone to talk to a human - - forget it. Their phone lines overflow, they don't answer email, their chat is a joke. The company is a mess. Only buy their stuff when you can try it on......forget dealing with the on-line store or their warranty dept. I love coming here when I fly through SeaTac and I'm a little surprised the reviews are so low (although it looks like the one person with 1 star isn't really talking about this location). This is like a quick and easy shopping stop for those who want high end quality on their way to their next destination. I love coming by to pick up a shirt or pair of their awesome undies. They provide a military discount which is wonderful when you're paying steep prices. One good thing I can say, the quality is incredible and I keep coming back because I love how their clothes actually fit! It seems they're made for adults who like to move a lot and want to avoid sweating. Service is generally very friendly and helpful! I was able to get a pair of slippers in my size after asking if they had more. Sweet! Be sure to ask for the military discount, it's pretty incredible. read more

It was inevitable that I'd cross the threshold of this store... I have an unholy obsession with travel-oriented gadgets and bags. There's nothing I like better than efficiency and saving on unnecessary weight or volume in my bag is pure delight. The service at this store is a little on the grumpy side and the prices are on the high end (like you'd expect at an airport)... ...But the Hummingbird travel pillow I picked up on a whim here on my last trip is fantastic and it runs for the same price as the bean bag jobs you can get at any HMS host shop. It's filled with some kind of memory foam. Very light weight, compresses easily to save space but still amazingly comfortable. I was actually able to get a quality nap and sit easily for a long read on my Kindle on two five + hour plane rides. One star just for that! I can tell the other goods they sell are good quality too, but I'd only buy here if I didn't have have the forethought to order online or buy said item off airport grounds. read more

I have attempted to contact this company four times now about an order-three times via email which were all completely ignored and once via phone. I thought the phone call with customer service would result in me getting shipping information but it did not!! I ordered 8 pairs of Give-N-Go Briefs on August 30. I was told that they would be arriving via "FedEx 3-Day Shipping" on September 3. On September 5, I received an email thanking me for my order, asking me how I liked the briefs, and asking me to write a review of the briefs, with a link included to the review. The only problem is that I had not yet received my order and I became very concerned. So I left multiple phone messages, because no one was picking up the ExOfficio Customer Service line (At one point, I waited 45 minutes on hold, and still no one picked up), messages via the ExOfficio website "Contact Us" page, and also emails via the website. Amazing, not one person from the company was thoughtful enough to contact me and reassure me. Finally, I noticed that they have a web chat option and I tried this. At this point it was September 9. I was told that my order had not been sent out yet. I asked why I was sent an email asking me how I liked the briefs when it was not sent out yet and I was brusquely told that this is sent out automatically. I asked why no one thought to contact me and let me know that there was a delay in my order and again, I was responded to brusquely that this customers are never contacted when there is a long delay in an order. There was no apology or even an attempt to try to understand my frustration. I finally received the briefs on September 14. I must say that I am not impressed with them. I compared them to my old Ex-Officio briefs and they seem to me of a less strong material and quite cheaply made. I have a long history and buying and using Ex-Officio products, but due to my poor treatment by Ex-Officio and the shoddy nature of this product, I will not be doing any more business with Ex-Officio. read more

The employees here are RUDE, RUDE, and RUDE. I witnessed a girl asking if the items in a box by the clearance items were on sale and one standing by the counter smirked at her saying they are not on sale and items they haven't put out in the store yet. Then the employee on the counter and another standing by both looked at each other laughing. It was rude enough they would talk back to a customer with an attitude, but worse to then smirk and laugh at someone for asking a question. I left the store immediately and will never return. Expensive and pretentious but the underwear are worth their weight in gold. I had been wanting to try a pair of their give and go boxer briefs for ages but at $25+ a pair I was having a hard time justifying it. When I found a pair on clearance in store (only $13) I decided to take the plunge. I took my purchase to the bathroom next-door and stepped into the stall. I emerged a changed man. Left my Hanes in the trash right then and there. I can't wait to pass through again and pick up a few more pairs! read more

Check out the sales racks. Their clothes are expensive, but worth it. As someone who travels for a living, I really appreciate clothes that can pack well and still look good. They sell that here. They also sell a lot of other cool stuff for the traveller. They have fitting rooms in the back, be sure to try on your potential purchase. At these prices, you want to be sure it fits!
