Zi Olive continues to be a special place and an opportunity to treat yourself or others. Bottles of…read moreolive oil and vinaigrette start at $25, although you can get small "travel" bottles for around $6. They truly have every flavor profile from sweet to savory that you can think of. Paper cups are available to test the flavors before you commit. Another popular item is honey - several flavors and opportunities to try them. You'll also find some dipping seasonings (for bread), other sauces, and condiments. We opted for the traditional white vinaigrette to pair with an olive oil. Really looking forward to enjoying it on salads or bread. The employee was key in assisting us on finding bottles we would prefer. Small store that packs in a lot of items. Great spot for presents or items to bring to someone hosting a gathering. Plenty of parking since the store shares space with other retail stores and restaurants.

I was blown away at the variety of balsamic vinegar and olive oils that are available at Zi Olive. I was told they have over 50 varieties of infused olive oil! Self-serve tasting is available for all of the balsamic vinegars and olive oils. The staff were super friendly and helpful, suggesting some interesting flavor combinations. We purchased the extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) with 2 infused oils (blood orange and black cherry) to mix with it for TASTY salad dressings. We also purchased the habanero olive oil which we have really enjoyed when cooking meats. There will be a never-ending combo of oil and vinegar combinations on our salads, breads, and meats. I know exactly where I'm headed when I need a great hostess gift! Thank you Zi Olive!

My Shady Lane Club is a keeper with all the flavors balance together to make mighty music. The onion rings were amazingly craving stars by themselves. You order at the counter and they make it right there for you. You get a beeper and can sit wherever. They have more seating upstairs as well as outdoor seating. It took 20+ minutes to get our food, and, by that time, the place had emptied out. We had a decent amount of food so the waitress helped bring it out to our table since one couldn't hold it all. We tried a variety of sandwiches: cubano, meatloaf, and a burger. We also tried the onion rings and fries. With the tip it was $55. None of the dishes stood out to us. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good enough for me to want to come back. There is an overall lack of flavor. I love the concept and small, hole in the wall location, but they could improve the food.

I was visiting…read morewith a friend who was staying at a nearby hotel and we decided on the ease and convenient location from the hotel for dinner. We each surveyed the entire selection of ready to eat food. The salad bar was extensive and looked fresh even though it was almost 8pm. The hot food was not as appealing and maybe that was because it was so late in the day. I was impressed with the soup selection. There must have been 10 different soups to choose from. It is self serve. I had a cup of spinach tortellini soup that was filling but a tad bit spicy for me. I also had some orange chicken and brocolli. It was warm but not hot but very tasty. I also had an egg roll. This was a bad choice. It had been sitting for hours, was greasy and cold. Overall a decent place to grab some fresh, hot food pretty quickly. You can self checkout easily. Food is priced by weight. An icon on the self checkout says, hot bar, you pick the kind and size of container you used and it weighs your food. There is a condiment bar as you exit the self pay station for plastic ware, salt, etc. Plenty of parking as it is located in a strip mall.
