She created the most natural, beautiful color I have ever had -- to the point where I genuinely felt like that was just my skin! There was nothing orange or "spray tanned" about it. I told him I'd come back after getting my coffee. When I returned, I started looking through the service flyers, but he encouraged me to relax and said I could look at them later -- first, I should enjoy the chair massage. That "5-minute" massage honestly felt more like 15 minutes, and I didn't even realize how badly I needed it. It was so good that I ended up booking a full 1-hour massage. My massage therapist did an amazing job -- by the end, she was even stretching everything out, and I felt so much better afterward. When I went to pay, I started chatting with another employee about the Japanese head spa. I've been wanting to try one for a while, but there really haven't been any in Marin -- and this is the first one here! She explained the entire head spa process to me and even gave me a complimentary 5-minute sample. That was all it took -- I ended up booking the full Japanese head spa service too. One of the coolest parts was that they show you your scalp on camera before and after the treatment, and the difference was huge. They also recommend products based on your specific scalp type, which I thought was really helpful. I had absolutely no intention of getting a massage or a head spa today, but somehow I walked out 3 hours later feeling completely refreshed. I'd honestly say it was the incredibly friendly staff and the amount of care they put into making you feel welcome that made the experience so special. From the cute little pink slippers to the coffee machine and cozy atmosphere, everything felt so thoughtful and inviting. I'll definitely be back! Also prices are very reasonable!

The woman who did my nails was very meticulous and I think they're more symmetrical and perfect than they've ever been. The only negative I have is I wish they had a bit more selection for gems. It seems like they have a huge variety for powder dip nails but much less for gels but I am still more than happy with my service and will definitely be back.

I walked in late morning on a Saturday and was seated immediately in one of their super comfortable chairs. Unlike most traditional salons where you grab a polish off the wall as soon as you walk in, they hand you a menu of color choices alongside their service menu and a menu of complimentary drinks! It was a bit early for a mimosa or glass of wine, so I opted for water, but it's such a fun touch. My tech was wonderful--she really took her time and did an incredible job on my often-neglected feet. The leg and foot massage was easily the highlight of the visit! The reason I've recently stopped coming is service related. They have two employees: one who is sweet, and one who is skilled but routinely in a sour mood, physically rough with my hands and feet, and can make coming an uncomfortable experience. Pulling and turning my feet if they don't bend to her will, rolling her eyes in annoyance if I'm not in the correct position, once she stopped my service and stared angrily, but didn't offer verbal instructions. It wasn't clear if she needed me to take my feet out of the water? Put them somewhere? What was clear was that she was furious with me, but I was confused as to why. In Yelping I noticed others with similar experiences. The owner is no longer at the shop, and after one too many of these uncomfortable visits, I decided to stop. One angry technician generally doesn't undermine a business, but with just two technicians on hand, it can be hard to avoid a negative experience.
