He's honestly one of the best instructors I've ever had. It's also nice that the classes are included with the membership. The basketball court is awesome, and I really like how open and spacious the gym feels. The equipment is newer and updated, and they do a solid job keeping everything clean and well maintained. What stands out the most though is the community. The members are friendly, the staff are great, and it just feels like a welcoming place to work out. The only downsides are the hours. They're not open 24/7, they don't open very early, and there aren't multiple locations, which can be tough since I travel a little bit. Still, for me the positives easily outweigh the negatives.

For about a year, people around town were talking about this massage place that was never open;…read moreapparently they had issues with permits, and some other legal hurdles, but they're open!!! Apparently they've been open for a while now, I just didn't know. I was in so much pain last night, and didn't want to go to the food reflexology place because frankly; they can increase pain; as they aren't really massage therapists - so I called Oasis. It was 8 p.m., and I saw that this place was open until 10 p.m. One four minute phone call, and I was booked!! Upon entering, I heard a woman yell out a name, three times, and a woman appeared from down the hall, very sweet. I mentioned that I'd called and needed an hour of body work. She said "You pay credit card or cash now," that was a bit off putting, but I was in a LOT of pain. I paid cash, fifty bucks for an hour "massage" and she said "come on," pointed to a room, and said "I bring change" so, I was waiting, and waiting, and realized maybe this is where I'm getting massaged. There was a table, and some oil, lotion and alcohol, so, I undressed and got on the table, about ten minutes later, a woman came in, and put the change on the "dresser" where the oil, lotion and alcohol were. When I asked her name she said "Ashley," oddly enough, the license outside for the massage therapist did not have the name of Ashley, so I asked if she was the massage therapist, she said "yes" and removed the blanket, and placed a towel over my body, and started PUSHING on my back, and shoulders. Ten minutes (at least) went by, and I asked if she was going to be massaging the areas I'd discussed on the phone, upper back, neck, shoulders and clavicle, pectoral area, and she removed the towel, got the oil and started massaging my back. Very deep, but kind of all over the place with the massage, she focused on the areas I spoke of, worked about a minute on each leg, didn't touch my hands or my feet. Now, I know, this sounds awful, right? NOPE - not really, just not what I like in a massage (normally), but I left there like a pile of mashed potatoes and gravy!! I had very little pain, and felt so much better. I didn't write a review last night because by the time I got home, it took all I had left to brush my teeth and get in to my bed!!! I rarely sleep past 4 a.m., I slept until 7:15 a.m., that's how great this massage was; although it was a lot different than what I'm used to; I'll be back. The next time, I'll ask for an hour foot massage, and ONLY feet, because she's strong, and I know that for me, a food massage tends to release a lot of tension and pain in my body. Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is good, for fifty bucks plus a tip, there's no excuse not to get a massage now and then.

She listened to what we were looking for, found a schedule that worked, and paired Levi with Coach Kaylei, who has been so patient and kind. He LOVES going to swim every weekend. Huge thank you, too, to Charlie, the club manager! Levi is sensitive to loud music, and Charlie offered, without us even asking, to turn the music off during Levi's 30-minute lesson. That small act made such a big difference. It means the world to find a place where our son isn't just accommodated, but genuinely welcomed. She works with all sorts of clients from babies to athletes. I can't recommend Jeannie enough. I had no idea 9 Corners was located at Vintage Oaks. They are upstairs above the Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Outlet. There are a bunch of other services they offer including facials, cryotherapy which I want to look into, acupuncture just to name a few. The service here is excellent. When you call their number you leave a message and someone calls you back right away. They also have a text service where you can get assistance. The people I've spoken to on the phone and the ladies I've interacted with at the front desk are super nice and helpful.

But that can lend itself to motivation. They also do a kids program, which I believe nobody else does here in Marin. Cool. Various programs with increasing benefits and coaching as the membership fee goes up, all very standard. Can get a key and come in on your own time if the morning or evening hours don't work for you, so that can be a good option. This gym is set up for competition, the programming is progressively set up to peak you on a certain day. They stress moving slow when beginning to prevent injuries and are very strict about techniques. Teaches proper form before just building brute muscle, so you can avoid injuries.
