I went for a refill of my lashes. The girl named Taren worked with a lot of haste and rushed to finish. They wanted me to pay fast and leave as it was their lunch hour. The next day I wake up to see half of the lashes on my left eyes had fallen. I called to let Teran know and asked to go back for having it fixed.. the two eyes were totally uneven and looked odd. I called 5 times with no response. Eventually came a text to my phone that Teran is busy and has no times for the following two weeks to see me !! On top of all the terrible work and service they charged my card for $380 instead of $240 !! Don't go there. There are some other decent places that do the job nicely. read more

I have been going to Taryn for my lash needs for nearly 4 years. She has done it all for me! Originally, I started going to her for lash extensions. She always knew how to make them look natural, yet fabulous. Due to a general change in preferences, I now go to her for lash lifts. My lashes always look flawless! She even remembers which eye needs to sit longer with the serum, since I never can lol. Aside from her skills, Taryn is a sweetie. It can be daunting to sit with someone with your eyes closed for an hour, but Taryn makes sure I am comfortable and is fun to talk to. Lastly, Taryn has been flexible with me. My work schedule can be a nightmare to work around and I'm constantly going on last minute trips - Taryn always finds a way to squeeze me in :) All in all, I highly recommend going to Taryn! read more

I made an one hour appointment for "Lash Fill - New Client $150" but the employee Taryn refused to do " Lash Fill - New Clien $150". Instead she insisted the " Full Set -Classic Lashes $260" on me. She said "Lash Fill - New Client $150" is for existing client. What??? It said "-New Client" on your website. I am a new client. So the service I booked is not available to me and I had to leave. When I got home, I noticed that there is a $150 charge in my credit card from The Beauty Nook. I called The Beauty Nook numerous times but no one answered the phone. I left a message to dispute the charge. Then Taren called me back to let me know that she charged me half price of " Full Set -Volume Lashes $300" which I never booked. Such rip off and dishonesty is totally unacceptable. Don't go there. There are other decent places that do the beautiful job. read more

Great place!! It's very pretty and inviting, with a tranquil vibe that puts you at ease as soon as you walk in. I go here to get waxed and I've only had positive experiences. Let's be real, the waxing process is not fun, but the Beauty Nook makes it as pleasant and smooth as possible. Also: Sara is wonderful! I don't know how she's able to perfectly maintain conversation while expertly applying and removing the wax, but I'm very glad she has that talent because it relaxes me, alleviates my knee-jerk self-consciousness, and keeps me distracted from the pain. I found this place on yelp and I wanted to get my eyebrows done today during my lunch hour. i contacted Emily and I was delighted that she had an opening during my lunch hour. When I got to the place it was had to find because it was located within a salon and there wasn't a sign on the street to indicate it was in the salon (which was in a plaza). The last time I had my eyebrows waxed (about 5 years ago) I had a horrible experience and I ended up missing some skin, so I was a little nervous to come to Emily. Emily assured me that the wax she used would get my hair but not peel my skin off :) I really wish I wouldn't have plucked so much at home so more would have come off today....anyway back to the review.
