I arrived to NYC after vacation with my family, i had reserved a limousine for us, since we are 9 people, and the company i reserved cancelled last minute on me. Within the last few months, I have used Bergen Limo (bravo limo) twice. It is the most inexpensive limo services out of all of the other competitors, but it truly puts a meaning behind the phrase "you get what you pay for." The first time was for my moms bachelorette party and the second was for my 26th birthday party. We had the same driver both times. For both events, our limo driver was on time and limos were used to get from point a to b. The interiors for the two limos we have been in were "okay," nothing too impressing. During my moms bachelorette party, there was a point where I needed to contact the driver, so the woman at the winery can confirm with him we weren't drinking and driving. He didn't answer his phone at all and wound up contacting me a half hour later--which at that point the phone conversation was useless because I already talked the lady into doing another tasting. For my moms party, I myself didn't book the limo but for my party I did. The women I talked to on the phone could have Been much nicer, one of them had a really bad attitude. I called a few weeks ago asking what kind of cars were available in their fleet that can comfortably fit 18 passengers. The woman on the phone told me they had both an h2 hummer limo in both pink and white- so I went ahead to try and book it. After gathering all my information she asked I put a down payment and I needed $350 to do so. Absolutely had no problem doing that but i only had $300 in my account at the moment...she wouldn't accept that and told me to call back again when I did. Ummm okay...and to be honest I have no idea why she wouldn't mention this in the beginning of the phone conversation-that would have made more sense. Within the week I called back, again, ready to book the limo. The new lady on the phone told me that they don't have a white 18 passenger limo, only pink. If I wanted the white one, it's 20 passengers. I went into detail explaining someone previously told me they did have a white one but this girl insisted they didn't. For the mistake, I wanted to get the 20 passenger one of it was not being used and she told me I would need to fully pay for it if it was being used. So great--I just got a pink limo for my 26th birthday. Whatever. Lol The deposit was made on my debit and the rest I wound up paying in cash. The overall cost did not include the tip. I had officially bought the limo for 5 hours. The day of my party. The limo arrived on time. A funny looking pink limo, perfectly fit for a 12 year old girl. In total, only 16 of us were able to make it that day. My friends began to pile into the hummer limo one by one. An "18 passenger" and there was still hardly any room! One of my friends literally had to sit on top of something that wasn't even a seat! The other two guys had to sit all the way in the back (a spot that was cut off from the rest of us) and were pretty much not involved with our group at all. Everyone was just squished and uncomfortable...not cool. The driver did get us there safe and on time. And after a lovely evening out, he called us to remind us the time was running out on the limo. We left the restaurant and went back up to the limo. We drove back home singing and dancing and having good time and eventually reached my house. We a few mins to spare, I asked the driver if he could drop some of us off at a local bar that was exactly 4 mins away. He seemed unsure and then said ok. I rounded everyone up who was coming with me and said goodbye to those who left. Those who were going with me jumped back in the limo and we shut the door. A minute later, the limo driver opens up the door and tells us he can't take us and that he would need to charge us for a whole half hour if we decided to take the ride. Why the heck would you say yes, with time to spare and then wait for everyone to get situated to just go around and say no. Absolutely made no sense at all. After all the money we spent, and for them to be that cheap over a couple mins is pretty darn ridiculous. Overall...this company serves its purpose, gets your group from one place to another. However, I would NEVER recommend them for a wedding or REALLY special occasion of any sort--it is apparent they are not willing to accommodate their passengers in and way, and firmly believe this especially after reading other reviews. read more

This company is VERY unprofessional! On top of being unprofessional they're thieves. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. My husband & I booked a party bus for our daughters prom after party this month. We put a deposit on the "International Pro Star Transformer Party Bus" which as per their website CLEARLY states the amount of passengers It holds. During the booking process I was asked "How many people will be on the bus" We had a quest list of 40ppl so I told her however she informed us that we had too many people. I proceeded to tell her what their website CLEARLY states & that it's for a prom. She still insisted we had too many ppl. Okay, it wasn't a big deal so I gave her a total of 38ppl. We were sent a contract via email which we read in it's entirety. We signed the contract & gave a deposit for the "International Pro Star Transformer Party Bus". The contract CLEARLY states what we were paying for. About 3 days before the event they called us for the remainder of our balance which we did not like because every limo company we've dealt with has always taken the balance due when the driver arrives not before. We reluctantly paid the balance & now only owed any toll fees the driver incurred during the hours we booked for. Fast ward to the day before our daughters party. Someone by the name LuLu calls me less than 24hrs before our event to say and I'm quoting her "The bus isn't ready for tomorrow" so I asked her what's wrong with the bus & she repeats "The bus isn't ready". I asked about 5 different times what was wrong with the bus and she never gave me a definitive answer. I even asked Why wasn't It ready when they knew It was booked and paid for and she still had NO real ANSWERS. Now I'm extremely annoyed because our daughter expressed she ONLY wanted that bus so I searched high & low until I found it. I expressed to LuLu that Bergen Limo had inconvenienced us especially since they called when they did. We had less than 24hrs to try and find the same bus which we could not do obviously because of timing. LuLu tells me that since they inconvenienced us they're sending us a bigger party bus that hold 50ppl & they aren't going to charge us because it's bigger. LOL the nerve of this company! She said It as if she was doing us a favor so I told her "please stop acting as if you're doing me a favor because if I wanted a bigger bus I would have easily paid for one". What should have happened & what I would have preferred is a refund of some sort for the inconvenience caused by Bergen Limo not sarcasm. I asked to speak to the manager, LuLu says okay she'll have her call me. No one ever called me. I ended up having to call Bergen Limo to only find out that the manager wasn't going to speak to me because there's nothing she can do. It was either take it or leave. The following day the driver arrives on time with another man who CLAIMED to be security. I'm not being funny when I say this but the kids were bigger than him but okayyyy Mr. Security if you say so. The driver and I board the bus to discuss the toll fee & sign a form during this conversation with him he says "you have 38 kids, right?" I tell him yes but we MAY add 2 additional kids being that the bus is bigger. Why did I say that!!! That turned into a 25 minute argument between my brother in-law & the driver. He told me that we had to pay for any additional people. I asked why & he says because those are the rules. I called the company as per my husbands request to tell them what was going on. I told them how they had caused an inconvenience to us & because they sent a bigger bus why couldn't we add 2 more ppl. She looks up our account & acts as if that was the bus we paid for. I ended up losing more time because I had to explain what happened with the buses which she should have known. She gets a manager (male) & he was disgustingly rude. He did NOTHING to try an accommodate us all he wanted was more money. Asking for money for each additional person which he wasn't going to get. Not all customers are right but in this case we were inconvenienced so an accommodation should have & could have been made for 2 more people to be added to a bus that holds 50ppl. After 30mins of unnecessary back & fourth the bus finally moves & heads to its destination to pick up my daughter & her party. When we arrive I get off to speak with my daughter & the driver ask can he speak to me so we board the bus. He proceeded to apologize about what had happened & that It was okay to add additional quest at no cost to us. SMH. He argued with my brother in-law & mother for 30mins made us lose time to only say It was okay to add even more ppl then we had originally asked for??? In a nutshell this company is shady & doesn't treat their customers with respect. All they're concerned with is money even when they're wrong. I will say, that I came to this place with some trepidation because of the reviews. But let me tell you how it all went down: I called for a quote for my lady's best friend's bachelorette party, and the quote was much cheaper than their competitors. Although I did talk to a lady that was somewhat rude on the phone, when I called again for another question, I got to a much nicer spanish lady on the phone. So they volunteered to stay longer so that we could come through to take a look at the limos. We showed up (albeit, the place is right nearby a go-go bar LOL) and she showed us the limo and we were impressed. The nice lady re-iterated the price and the terms of service and payment - the ladies were impressed and did not need to negotiate. Great stuff! So fast-forward to the night of the party. We found that we needed to move up the pickup time and they were able to accommodate for that. Plus, the driver was the best, he treated the ladies with respect, professionalism and chivalry and as a guy hearing the story, I got the sense that he wasn't just their driver, he was their protector. He was able to take the ladies to each stop on time and once the night was over, he got everyone back home with a lot of time to spare. I kind of want to find the guy and say, "Hey man - here's a steak dinner..let me drive you somewhere! Thanks!" or something like that. LOL BTW, the dispatcher was available at all times, as I had to make a call to them in the wee-hours of the night to get the ladies picked up from downtown NYC. I would most definitely recommend the Bergen Limo Service. Note that this company is also called "Bravo Limo". Also, if you find that you're speaking to a rude lady, I guess I would suggest speaking to the other lady, as she seemed to be much more accommodating and serviceable. read more

PSA: this company goes by a different names but all the addresses are the same. So far it has been Bravo Limo Llc, Exotic transportation, bergenlimos and one other. Please save your money. Very sketchy. RUINED SWEET 16. It was heartbreaking to watch my sister come home in tears and embarrassed in front of her friends because of this company. She was so excited to have a pink limo take her and her friends to their dinner cruise in the city and their driver made us late. This is a $3,000 prepaid reservation that is now gone down the drain. The driver insisted on taking backroads to avoid traffic but only made us more late. We were in the car ready to leave at 5:15 with our ETA being exactly 6:34 with traffic accounted for. We arrived at 7:05 and missed the boat. After taking backroads and getting on and off the highway several times, the driver had to have missed an exit and when I asked him why we were in the Bronx he said he was just following the GPS to take a faster route...we were going to Chelsea Piers? When I called the owner of the company he told me to take a "chill pill" because "these things happen" and offered no other help. I could not recommend them less, they are very sketchy too, they insisted we make our second payment in cash and told us they would refund our original credit card payment if we paid them in full cash. Since then, a representative from this company has called me and demanded that I remove this review and even threatened legal action (scary!) Insisting that because his driver arrived to the pick up location on time, it was our fault we were late. Any time I tried to explain that we had left with 30 minutes to spare and the lateness was purely the drivers fault he yelled at me and told me to calm down while talking over me the whole time. AND he had the nerve to tell me it would be a $200 extra charge for each extra hour we had the car when he obviously had to find a reservation for a later time since his horrible service caused us to miss the original. Also called Bravo Limo as I've read in the other reviews. Bravo Limo was on time for my wedding with the wrong limo. Getting a hold of management to resolve our issues was unbelievable and the conversations AFTER our wedding day is what led me to such a low review. They yell, don't listen, won't give you management, and create inconsistent excuses. Our main ask after our wedding was - why didn't they make us aware of the limo change before they arrived to pick me up (especially considering this limo was not nearly as nice/new as the one we agreed upon)? After hours of conversations and multiple phone calls later the excuse was that the limo I had ordered got stuck in a driveway at a wedding a few weeks before mine (March wedding) as it doesn't have 4 wheel drive. We had great weather but they supposedly made the executive decision to change the limo and not make us aware. This would've been fine had they given me this answer the first time I called or perhaps even had the decency to call ahead of time to let me know of this change. When we asked about the switch the day of they advised the driver to tell us it was a complimentary upgrade (which it definitely was not). Luckily, we didn't let it bother us as there are plenty of things that will go wrong on your wedding day and it could have really been worse. Everyone was squished, the speakers in the back of the limo didn't work and the driver didn't know how to fix it- none the less we arrived on schedule and the driver was very kind. They charged us overtime due to traffic (which is in the contract and fair). The manager- when I finally got a hold of one was very unapologetic. Their associates are also incredibly rude. We weren't offered a coupon, NOTHING in an effort to fix the host of issues we had regarding their service. Not that I'd even dare to use the service again. Never Again! I hired a stretch limo for a birthday party (paid $420 in advance), with a scheduled pick-up to get 13 people to a show in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The driver was 20 minutes late and we nearly missed the show. The service charges $120 an hour for making the driver wait ... but was unwilling to give the customer the same courtesy. I complained and got no satisfaction at all from the owner, not even a refund of the pre-determined TIP, which I would never have given to the driver. I will not use this service again. read more

I went in the middle of the week and the rep told me that all of their limo's were basically there (which was not a lot) I saw that they had a few pink stretch Limo S.U.V's and two white Cadillac Escalade's one of them was an older model and the other one was a new and more modern model ( probably a prop) I expressed to the rep that I did not want to order the old vehicle as it looked old and I DID NOT WANT IT. he stated that he understood and I even wrote the newer vehicle on my contract next to my signature I was worried that they would send that ugly old limo so a few days later I called and spoke to someone who assured me that I would be getting the new vehicle I paid for. I also called the day before prom and spoke to a manager who AGAIN assured me that he reviewed my contract and I would be getting what I requested and paid for ... I was planing my New York City vacation for a while now and since this was my birthday gift for my girlfriend I wanted to make every aspect of this trip special. I got a nice hotel and thought to surprise her with a limo ride. I looked up Bergen limo and booked a white stretch limo. The driver was on time, he got helped with the luggage. The inside was as on the pictures, it was very nice. I also ordered champagne service and that was provided. Both time I asked for the Spanish Driver because my parents does not speak any English and it would be easy to communicate with the driver. So for my request they told me it's not always available. So 1 st time I got a Spanish Driver and was really happy. But today I got an American driver. He was nice and everything but I think Spanish Driver will work better for me. We've used Bergen Limo many times. One of the few car services with very professional phone agents. They always arrive early without fail, even when there were detours to our house. They emailed AND called to confirm our ride. The cars are always immaculate and often better models than the town car we request. I think the prices are always fair and never a mystery. They even send coupons now and then in the mail. I also like that when picking up at the airport that they hold up a brightly colored sign at the bag claim. My family and I used Bergen limos back in July to get the airport for a much needed vacation, Because who likes driving to airports and paying for the parking?? definitely not me! We chose this limo company because it's in close proximity to my aunt's house in Fort Lee and it had the cheapest quote. I like getting my prices upfront, so Bergen Limos was much better than trying to take an Uber. I didn't have to put up with not being guaranteed a big enough car and having those crazy surprise surcharges sprang on me, also didn't have to put up with drivers that purposely take longer routes so that you can be charged more. Nope, not with theses guys! The dispatchers are very friendly and helpful and helped me book the most accommodating car and gave me the price. The driver arrived to the house five minutes earlier than the expected time, with a clean, and comfortable car that had ample enough room for all 4 of us and our luggage. We got from Fort Lee to JFK safely and surprisingly promptly because there wasn't too much traffic that night. I will definitely be using these guys again! read more

WORST LIMO COMPANY IN THE WORLD! We booked a limo to go from Metropark train station to Madison Squate Garden to see a Rangers game. We left Metropark at 4:30pm and had dinner reservations for 6:00pm before the game. At 5:45 we were in Morristown (who knows why) and our estimated time of arrival was 8:00pm. The limo driver went the wrong way completely and did not speak any English when we were trying to tell him which way to go. We winded up making him drive us back to the Seacauscus train stop so we could get on a train to New York and arrive at a reasonable time and not after the game already started. He dropped us off in Seacauscus at 7:00pm. Basically what should have been a 1-1 1/2 hour limo ride to New York turned into a 3 1/2 hour limo ride around the whole state of New Jersey. We missed our dinner reservation...we missed the start of the Rangers game...we had to pay for train tickets on top of the limo ride. The next day the manager made excuse after excuse of why it was not his fault nor the drivers fault. My favorite excuse was he "does not write the satellite programs for the GPS navigation system." (Which was an original Garmin that has never been updated) And that going west all the way through Morristown was the correct way to get to New York. He told me he never received one complaint...until I actually looked up some reviews of this place and it's one nightmare after another. Someone even had such an awful experience they dedicated a whole Facebook page called "Bergen Limo Complaints" where everyone just talks about how bad their experience was. read more

Awful! If you want to ride in an old, tacky, vehicle that sounds like there is a hole in the muffler or floor complete with tacky disco lights and no heat then you should call right away. Also the charge they quoted me was pretty far off from the price they quoted me on the phone. Be aware they charge an extra 10% if you pay with a credit card (not disclosed) and add a 20% tip in FOR YOU on your bill. I don't think that's how tipping is supposed to work. When my flight was going to be delayed/rerouted and I tried to cancel the car on the return trip, I was told there is a 24 hour cancellation fee and I would be charged regardless. I guess they have never heard of customer service. Disappointing all around. WIll never use or recommend this company again read more

I was extremely impressed with the service that I received it was truly phenomenal. The driver was very pleasant and on time. When we were all celebrating the driver patiently waited outside. Once we were going back we had all the amenities in the limo including water and champagne as well as different variety of chips. Absolutely the WORST service ever!!! My husband and I gifted my brother and sister-in-law a limo for their wedding day. 1. We rented an 18 seater white Cadillac Escalade limo for 16 passengers and ended up having to sit on top of each other because 16 passengers did not fit. Many of the women were very petite so there should have been room to spare. This was the most uncomfortable ride ever! 2. The a/c only blew HOT AIR, and only when we were 5 minutes away from our venue did the driver push a button in the front to actually turn it on. The driver was told multiple times that it was only hot air and he must have a switch in the front because his a/c was blowing just fine in the front. We called and complained because we had 2 pregnant women riding which made this a very uncomfortable ride. 3. The limo itself was disgusting, spilled drinks on the floor and walls of it. 4. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Bergen Limo or Bravo Limo, is the absolutely worst company we have ever worked with. Do not use them, it will absolutely ruin your day. I've been calling them since Friday, 06/27/14 (date of wedding) and have yet to hear back from anyone. If you're thinking of using this for a prom or sweet 16, don't. I have been on many many party buses before and this has to be the worst expierence. We used it to go to the city after our homecoming dance, and to our surprise when we walked in we not only had a driver, we had a SECURITY GUARD sitting in the back with us. It was so uncomfortable for all of us, it was 17 sixteen year old girls with an older man in the back of a limo while he just watched us. We felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and nervous. When we called the next day, the lady who answered the phone was extremley rude and dismissive, told us its policy and it doesn't need to be stated in the contract. Yes it does! If my parents knew that a bunch of minor girls would be stuck in a confined area with an older man for hours, we would have looked at another company. Apart from that it was a waste of time, money, and made what was supposed to be our special night very awkward and we just wanted to go home. Unless you want your young kids trapped in the backseat of a car with an man you don't know, pay the few extra bucks and feel safer. RUN as fast as you can ...these people are so rude and nasty...and they can give less than a damn about you or your special day...I spoke to rep name nataly who gave me a quote in which I was excited about because it was cheap price for a pink limo to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday..i asked nataly would it be okay for me to go to the market st Paterson address to view the pink limo because although I had already seen picts online I wanted to make sure all features that were stated online worked...so she made arrangements and I went yesterday to view the pink hummers. me and my daughter got there and was met by a male rep that never introduced his self but took us to the pink limo ...but the killer was when I asked could I go inside to check if all the features such as strobe lights, music, ac, etc. that was described on line he declined and kept insisting that we couldn't go in the limo to check because they were about to clean it and that we wouldn't be able to see the lights because it was daytime...lol..im like daytime should not make a difference if we are inside and shut the doors the lights should work...then i asked could he turn on limo so we can check the radio he declined that and he offered us to come inside to view picts online as if I hadn't already seen the beautiful picts online that's how I found this place...but how could he expect some one to spend there money on a limo that they wasn't even allowed to check out and could only peep inside as I explained to him he became very agitated and his answer was he can not let us in the limo because he don't want us to get it dirty but he had just told us they were about to clean it ...very suspicious people...I take it none of the features worked as advertised and they were busted!!!!....I am so happy I didn't choose these people for my daughters 21st birthday ....so again RUN fast past this place and put extra dollars to another company that can give you great customer service and stand by there limos and welcome you to come view and make sure all features work.... Arranged for pick up and drop off for our wedding, specifically requesting working air conditioning. Driver was on time, nasty drove 30 minutes in the wrong direction, vehicle was very old without working air conditioning. Company did nothing to correct the problem, never came to pick us up, we had to call our friends to come back to the venue and bring us home.
