We had a group of 23. We ordered two vans. The first one came and took half our group and we were told we would have to wait 10-15 minutes for the next van. Here we are... it's been 27 minutes and they are telling us it will be another 7 minutes. I wish we had never booked this and taken cabs instead. It would have been 1/3rd of the price and three times faster. Think twice about booking this service. Or only pay half up front!!! Just got the news... (Still waiting for our ride) the company is going to refund us $40 for our inconvenience... we paid $380 for this... Are you kidding me? $40? Still waiting... it's been over 35 minutes. My wife and I used NYC Rich Limo for our wedding on Saturday 10/14/2017. The service provided by NYC Rich Limo was adequate. It was primarily email communications throughout the entire process up to the night before when I received a phone call from Sophia advising me of the drivers name and contact info. After our phone call because I was out, she texted me the driver Franky's phone contact. The morning of the wedding I contact Franky the driver and he was already enroute to pick us up. He arrived at our pickup destination about 20 minutes early which was great, as it relieved a little bit of the stress and anxiety. My best man went down and spoke with the driver, and when we were ready to go, we headed to the limo (Infiniti Q70) and were introduced to the technology in the back. The only issue with the Limo was that the partition separating the drivers cab, and the back of the limo was broken - so we either had to call or text the driver if we need to make a stop or if we were awaiting someone before we left. This wasn't a major issue, but was a minor inconvenience. Our route took us from my apartment out in Rockaway Beach, Queens to the Church in Manhattan. It then dropped us off and went and picked up my wife and the bridesmaids from the hotel they were at and returned to the church for a drop off. Things were smooth with that drive. After our wedding mass we went to pier 15 to take pictures, with the limo standing by for us. After pictures were taken we then went to our wonderful venue which was the Manhattan Penthouse. Once we arrived at the Manhattan Penthouse, I helped my wife with her dress up to the venue. My groomsman were down at the limo removing our contents from it. I received a call from my groomsman advising me that the driver was demanding a tip for the service. I advised them that on my invoice a 20% gratuity for $224 dollars was already charged to my credit card, that it was included in the price for the service. My groomsman told the driver that. I went about my business greeting guests, talking with the band and the photographer etc. We had a few guests that arrived a little early, and my wife was talking with them in the area of the venue where the cocktail area was being held. What I found out later that night (thank god my wife didn't tell me earlier) was that the driver had the audacity to come into the venue, approach my wife, ask for me and tell her that the tip was not included and he expected his tip. My wife being the amazing person she is, rather than have a confrontation and to just rectify the situation gave the driver an additional $200 tip to get him out of the venue so we could go about our night celebrating our wedding. After the wedding when my wife told me about this, I was appalled and disgusted that a driver would a) demand a tip b) enter a venue and approach a bride on her wedding day. This driver had no class at all. I contacted the office of NYC Rich Limo on Sunday 10/15 and spoke with Sophia, who appeared to be extremely apologetic and embarrassed. She was very nice over the phone and agreed to refund $200 back to my credit card. Approximately 10 minutes later I received a notification that the $200 was refunded. Overall we had a good experience with NYC Rich Limo. Sophia was very responsive to our complaint, however I just can't get the bad taste of this driver Franky out of my mouth. It's just so unprofessional and so unacceptable on any level for a vendor to approach a client and demnand a tip under any circumstance. Let alone a bride on her wedding day. I would recommend NYC Rich Limo, however I would not recommend the driver Franky. read more

It was very easy to book the limo and even though we were going back and forth with NYC Rich Limo staff on details, they were very friendly and absolute pleasure to deal with! The driver (Ryan) came on time, was very well spoken and very presentable - just what you need on girls' night out!!! I reserved a limo from and to the airport for a weekend birthday trip with my son. When our flight was delayed due to weather in NYC, I called to let them know about the change. Not only were they unaware of the delay (surprising since they supposedly were tracking my flight and because the weather was a local problem affecting all three airports), but I was told they didn't know if they could pick me up. I was told I'd receive a call back and when I finally did quite some time later, I was told they would pick me up in an SUV, even though they had charged my credit card days earlier for the limo. By then, the flight had been moved back further, so I inquired if the limo would again be available at the later flight time. I was told I'd receive a call back; I didn't. After nearly two hours of wondering, I finally called Luxor Limo and they were happy to help and gave me a similar price (note: our flight was cancelled later that night & we rebooked on another airline coming into another airport in the wee hours - no problem for Luxor!). I called NYC Rich Limo back and cancelled the pick up. I later received an email inquiring whether I still wanted the limo to the airport at the end of the weekend. I said I did, but only if they could accommodate any possible flight time changes that day. I received no response. Tried calling and was only given the option or risking it or cancelling via their website. I canceled and booked again with Luxor. Clearly this company only has a few vehicles and are unable to handle typical changes in flights or effectively communicate with their customers regarding changes. read more

Terrible experience with NYC rich limo! We booked a limo and had to wait for 2 hours at the airport after a long flight from Holland with two young kids. Finally the driver arrived and dropped us in Manhattan at the corner of a street wich wasn't in the neighbour of our hotel. It was 21 blocks away from our hotel! So we walked with our suitcases and had to take a cab (wich was not easy at 6 pm) and payed 35 dollar extra! I received an email with an apologize from Sophia but that was all. read more

BEWARE OF NYC RICH LIMO. I have never posted a review on social media and I realize that NYC Rich Limo has received favorable reviews from past customers, however, my experience was memorable for the wrong reasons. I contracted with NYC Rich Limo to pick my party up at 7:30 p.m. this past Saturday at the Hilton Millennium in lower Manhattan. My car service experience is that the driver is always early to his destination. This night when the car had not arrived by 7:20 p.m. I called the office to be sure that we were in their system. I was told that traffic was heavy and my car would arrive in 20 minutes. I expressed to the office that I was not pleased because 8 passengers were expecting to be picked up at 7:30 to attend a wedding. The office's unconcerned response was he is only 20 minutes away. At 7:30 I called the office again. I was informed that the driver was only 15 minutes away. The office was unfazed that my party was now going to be late for the wedding. We agreed to cancel the pick-up. I was asked if they should still pick up my party at 1:00 a.m. after the wedding. My party was troubled and not interested in a return ride unless the office agreed not to charge us for the ride. The manager said he would have to charge us and I told him we would seek alternative transportation. Shortly thereafter the manager called me and told me that they could pick my party up at 1:00 a.m. and because of their early snafu they would not charge us for the return ride. I asked him to repeat this agreement, which he did and I accepted his offer. We were picked up at 1:00 a.m. by a friendly, good driver in a clean comfortable car. Two days later I was informed that the company decided to bill us for the return drive. I have two issues. The first is that our original ride failed to appear at the agreed time. There was literally no traffic in lower Manhattan that night. There may have been traffic where the car was dispatched but it is a limo company's obligation to know the local traffic conditions and ensure that they arrive at their pick up on time. Even an amateur with a cell phone app can discern traffic on the internet. Frankly, I felt the company was blaming its driver for their own neglect. My second issue is that I was deceived by the company's false promise to amend for their blunder and not charge us for our return ride. Five days ago I called the company and asked the manager to call me. I am still waiting for a return call. I realize and accept that problems arise in the best managed company. How they deal with it is an index of its integrity. There are many transport companies in New York. If reliability and honesty are a priority avoid NYC Rich Limo. read more
