We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.

It was so easy to rent a bike on this Friday. A QR code is present at the check in area. You fill out the information and provide your credit card data. You then fill out a simple waiver before you get your bike. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. You select your helmet and the staff provides the bike based on your build. You can then get a phone holder or a saddle bag for additional storage,if needed. It's all included in the price. We chose the $55 for 4 hours of biking. (It's $10 extra per hour over the 4 hours.) We were then provided a quick tutorial of the bike process and its functions to allow for a smooth and carefree ride. It was all so easy! Off we went for nearly 4 hours of exploring the area. The accommodations are luxurious and the scenery is second to none. Looking at Pinnacles National Park in one direction and the Santa Lucia mountains with the sunset in the other direction. Sitting on the patio, enjoying the hummingbirds at the feeder and then venturing down to the pool for a little wine and cheese social was the icing on the cake. This is a phenomenal location and is definitely a hidden gem in Monterey County. It would be perfect for visiting the national park or just for a nice getaway weekend.
