What a refreshing wonderful time! The resort was super clean, staff really frequently and extra helpful no mater what the questions or problems. They had a very smooth and easy to operate entrance, booking times to do things like swim with dolphins and the underwater sea trek was great! It might cost a bit of $ but it was well worth the expense to visit. We did the seven course meal and show at the end of he night, the servers were very fun and interactive. The seven course meal served was also very well done and tasty Getting out of the park after the program was also easy The river swim was nice however I recommend shoes for water and verify your life jacket can hold your weight if you are not a strong swimmer. 1400' of slow swimming is a long way to go if your are not prepped. Good experience with good food.

They hype up the purchase of the photo pass, so you don't have to carry your phone around the water. So you purchase the photo pass for $80 and you get to take pictures throughout the park by waving your wrist band. They tell you within 30 days you can download your pictures from the website. Well their IS NO website. It does NOT Woek. Email customerservice@xcaret.com which is the parent company and listed on their website. NO SUCH email address. So last resort was to call 18553260682. Well they give you 3 options to book reservations, cancel reservations and to pay for your reservation. I'm really bummed out and would love to have my photos, but if that's not possible I'd like my money back. I hope This was not a scam?? The park was fun and we had a good time. I wish I had the pictures to prove it.

    Xcaret Tour Bus

We booked our tour through Excursion travel in Nyx Hotel with Diego (which was horrible). We got the deluxe package to visit Chichén Itzá. After our bus didn't come on the promised date, our tour was moved the day after. Our bus came to pick us up at 7AM and we were brought to the Xcaret hub in Cancun where we had to get on another bus to take us to Chichén Itzá. Our tour guides, Reyvis and Santos were the most pleasant individuals that took their time to explain everything in English and Spanish cohesively. We were given breakfast during the ride around 9AM and the breakfast pack consisted of orange juice, corn bread and a ham and cheese sandwich. Reyvis and Santos talked us through about the history of Chichen Itzá on our way to the historic site and kept the whole bus entertained. Readers beware! Bring sunscreen and bug spray. It gets really hot while the guides are doing the tour and there are a lot of bugs in the Cenote and Chichén Itza. It was wonderful to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World and learn about the Mayan culture. There are a lot of souvenirs that you can buy off from the locals inside the park or Chichén Itzá. Buyers, take my advise and try to haggle the price when buying souvenirs. Not saying that what they're doing is bad but you can buy something that they offer for $35USD for $10USD. After the tour of the park, Reyvis and Santos brought us to a buffet in Valladolid. The buffet was meh and we honestly expected more authentic Mexican cuisine but it is a tour so I shouldn't have expected Michelin tasting dishes. We went to the Cenote in Valladolid afterwards and took some pictures. We did not swim in the Cenote as it was not included in the deluxe package. I can recommend this tour to anyone who hasn't tried it yet as it is not only educational but also a fun, exciting experience.

Don't come to Cancun!!! Go to Xcaret!!! The whole week we spent here the best time was spent with Ex.Xc and they are awesome every staff is excited to see you and answer your dumb questions even when you ask a lot. We went to cenotes, the Xcaret park, and Xichen itza! They were great I can't wait to come back. I know for a fact I want to come back just for what Xcaret experiences have to offer. My partner and I had a blast! We want to stay in the hotel of Xcaret next time so we don't have to deal with the pressure of the guys at the mercado ever step we take. The jungle and river was the best hour spent. It takes a while to finish the maya river path but it's beautiful fresh. The water is cold at first but warms up super fast. The cenotes was my favorite I felt the second death once I jumped into the mouth of the monster to the underworld. Hopefully your tour guide is JESUS! HE ROCKS! He was so informative and knows literally everything about the Mayan best archeologist I've ever met. Plus the only bit still. He was great I would recommend him for any tour to any one. People from other groups seeing us have fun and couldn't take their eyes off of our group we were all interactive with our group. Feels great how Jesus brought together a group of people from over the world and had them be friends by the end of the trip. Thanks Jesus.

I was there with my best friend about a week ago! We did two tours with them (Xcaret and Xichen). The bus picked us up in front of the hotel each morning. On time. None of the buses we took had bathrooms since they were always out of service (This sucks considering you're traveling in that same bus pretty much all day!) The park itself was amazing and totally recommend it regardless of the tour you pick. There was a buffet meal included with our package each day however they had zero accommodation for people with food or gluten allergies (even though I contacted them about it before) so I ended up eating sabritas chips for two days, it wasn't fun. They don't even let you bring your own food into the parks so if you have allergies, you're pretty much screwed. The staff didn't seem to care. Other than those couple of things I do recommend this tour! Improvements can be done but overall it was an okay experience.

**A Day of Sun and Discovery: Chichen Itza Adventure, local lunch buffet, and cenote visit**…read more I recently had the opportunity to visit the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! Despite the scorching heat, our group had an absolute blast exploring this incredible site. **The Weather: A Sizzling Challenge** Let's get the obvious out of the way - it was HOT. Like, "I-can't-even-wear-my-sunglasses-because-their-frames-are-melting" hot. The sun beats down relentlessly, making every step feel like a marathon. But, as they say, "no pain, no gain" - and we were determined to make the most of our day. **The Ruins: A Treasure Trove of History** As we ventured deeper into the site, our eyes widened in awe at the sheer scale and grandeur of the ancient structures. The Pyramid of Kukulkan (El Castillo) stole the show, its intricate carvings and stairways a testament to the ingenuity of the Mayans. The Temple of Warriors, with its 9 pillars, was another highlight - each one adorned with symbolic carvings that told stories of battles and mythological creatures. **Cenote** We were also lucky enough to visit a local cenote and were thoroughly impressed. Despite the short visit, the experience was refreshing and rejuvenating. (about an hour 1/2 or so) The water was crystal clear and a perfect temperature - a welcome respite from the hot Cancun sun. The calm and peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind and relax. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to cool off or experience the natural beauty of Cancun, I highly recommend checking out one of these local cenotes. Don't expect to spend hours exploring, but do expect to leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. **Tips and Takeaways** * Bring sunscreen. Like, a lot of sunscreen. * Bring a canteen filled with Ice and water * Wear comfortable shoes - you'll be doing a lot of walking. * Take breaks in shaded areas or under umbrellas to avoid heat exhaustion. * Don't miss the acoustics demonstration at El Castillo - it's an impressive display! * Be prepared for crowds and long lines during peak season. * Consider booking a guided tour to get a deeper understanding of the site's history and significance. Thank you NOE and team!

Amazing Service + Thrilling Tours = Unforgettable Memories…read more My husband and I planned a last minute vacation 5 day vacation to Cancun the week of 4th of July. The week before leaving to Cancun, I was browsing the Cancun Best Discount website and as I was browsing (which I had already spent about 30 minutes on the website looking at what to choose) Martha contacted me. Martha was wonderful! She asked me what I was interested in doing and provided recommendations. We booked 3 tours with Martha: Tour #1: Whale Shark Adventure Tour #2: Coba Mayan Encounter Tour #3: Selvatica Air Assault Once we were booked, our confirmations were sent to us immediately. When we were in Cancun, Martha called our hotel room to confirm pick up times for our tours. On day 4 we had to change our Selvatica Gimme All tour to the Air Assault tour since we couldn't do an 8 hour tour. Martha was able to change the tour without a problem and refund the difference in tickets immediately! Talk about incredible customer service! All tours were AMAZING! Swimming with whale sharks was incredible! The group was small with about 8 people. We swam with about 20 whale sharks (I swear I am not kidding). Even though my husband and I do not get sea sickness, we did on this trip so make sure to take dremamine. While you are waiting for your turn to go in the water with the whale sharks you sit on the boat and it rocks A LOT! We were lucky to have spotted the whale sharks about 45 minutes into the trip and we were one of the boats to get to the whale sharks so we had a lot of time taking turns to swim with them. If you do this tour, you have to be in good shape since there is current and you have to keep up with the whale sharks - trust me they aren't as slow as they look. After the whale shark swim which was an incredible experience, we set out to eat a ceviche lunch docked at Playa Mujeres was a great relaxation after a day of chasing whale sharks. The Mayan Coba Encounter was great! The tour guide Isreal, zip lining, repelling into a cenote and climbing up Coba was remarkable. Our Mayan buffet lunch was tasty. The Selvatica Air Assault is for the young, adventurous heart. My husband and I were the only ones who chose that tour so we had 4 tour guides all to ourselves! The attention and interaction we had with our guides was so personalized. I could have done without all of the bridges in the tour, but our guides, the bungee and superman zip lines made it all worth it. I have traveled a lot and I must say this has been THE BEST tour and customer service experience EVER!! All of these tours are a MUST DO! I would call Martha and Cancun Best Discounts in a heart beat when vacationing in Cancun again.

A few comments though: 1 - we went on Tuesday, which apparently, Valladolid had a fiesta and so we did not stop, and just passed through it. If that was the plan of not stopping if there are fiestas, they should have informed us when we were booking. Would hvae been nice to walk around Valladolid. 2 - the tour guide just started talking after 1.5 hours on the bus en route. Wold have been more appropriate to say even a few words as soon as we drove off from the pick up area so to give us a bit of idea of what we are doing, how long is the drive, what to expect, etc. 3 - there were only 6 of us English speakers vs 30+ (i think) of the Spanish speakers on the bus. Antonio aka Kojak (i think was his name), our tour guide, gathered the English speaking tourists, but passed us to another tour guide from the other bus who had about 20+ people already. Would have been nice to have the guide with only a few people. Good thing, the other guide (Alfonso) did a good job. He knew a lot and was very articulate, and dressed the part.

They also provided two meals, the first one was pastries and beverages (water, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the last one was a full on buffet spread (salad, cheese, meats, bread, water, soda and beer).
