It's very concerning to see staff constantly changing, especially in an environment where children need structure, familiarity, and proper care. I also feel the new management does not know how to properly handle the children or maintain the same quality of care that this daycare once had. Licensing/state has reportedly been called to the daycare multiple times since the new owner took over, which raises even more concerns as a parent. Overall, this daycare is not the same place it used to be, and I am extremely disappointed with the direction it has gone. At this point, I am seriously considering removing my children over the summer and enrolling them elsewhere because I no longer feel confident in the childcare being provided.

I don't understand what the purpose of that was. I also wasn't informed of injuries or incidents my son would tell me about. The main teacher would deny it. If this is your only choice when it comes to schools, it's decent. But if you have other options I'd recommend looking into those.

But the teachers here were like a second family -- always there to support me and help in any way they could. Now my second child is attending, and I had some concerns about sending him to a public school without the right guidance or preparation. When I got the call that he was accepted here, I felt a huge sense of relief -- and since then, the teachers have gone above and beyond. They've helped him with social skills, guided him emotionally, and prepared him academically for kindergarten. If I could rate this school from 1 to 5, I'd give it a 10. That's how much they've meant to my family. I'm forever grateful

Instead of comforting a broken hearted new mother, the center director made it sound like it's not a big deal and told me her kids have got bitten in the past. Of course there is no apology, they did not even reassure me this is not going to happen again. I have withdrawn my baby girl after this incident. And would not recommend this daycare to anyone. I truly feel that sending them here for preschool gave them a great foundation for when they started TK and Kindergarten. Both of them are now in 1st and 3rd grade attending the after school program here. I love their after school program because they get their homework completed and also still do fun activities. I know when I leave my kids here they are safe and taken care of!! And the best part is: THE KIDS LOVE IT HERE!! They do such fun things for the kids over summer, like "water days", crafts and even some learning projects. She also attended preschool here, in Ms. Maribel's class. Ms. Maribel is truly very special, we absolutely love her and are so grateful for her! She now attends their afterschool program with Ms. Brisa, who we also absolutely adore! Everyone at Shepard is truly so kind and caring, all the way from the administrator, Ms. Melanie to all of the teachers and staff. I feel so very blessed to have found this school and have such a safe & loving space for my children to learn & grow while they are away from us.
