Took it back with no cold air blowing this time after 3 days of being fully charged with Freon, he said I put dye in it with Freon last time which he did not then he use the glasses and the flash light that mechanics use to check the leak and said there is a leak at the AC compressor but the Condenser needs to be changed in order for him to give me a warranty for his work (OK) what ever was wrong with the car AC was going to be his warranty and to fix it would be his job why adding and charging for other parts that are working good for $1200, AC compressor is working and blowing air just not cold so I took the car to another mechanic he change the part that was not working and charged it with factory settings on amount of Freon, AC is working great its been 3 weeks and cost me less then $350

They are a pretty small garage so of course they don't have the most sophisticated expensive diagnostic equipment, so most of the time when you come in with a problem, Shon would make educated guesses as to what parts need fixed. What I liked about Shon was that if he made a judgement error (like replacing a part that was not actually the root of the problem) he would make it right by offering a refund on the first service, or offering to do additional work for free until it was fixed. I applauded him for that and he gained my trust for about 6 or 7 years. Now that it's Park's auto service, the scenario is still the same: they have to make educated guesses about what is wrong with your car and fix accordingly. Unfortunately, Park does not offer any kind of redemption when he makes a mistake, and tells you "oh that part needed replaced anyway." He doesn't budge on refunds or or no-charge follow-up fixes, even after arguing. This has happened to me several times and I refuse to go here anymore. So that's what you get at Park's: A mechanic that makes a lot of mistakes and does nothing to make them right. I'm done dumping my money into this waste.

I have put brakes, a new rear end (pinion bearings and total rebuild), and now, as of today, a new power steering rack on this vehicle. The vehicle was painted with an undercoating to hide the massive amount of rust. Unfortunately we did not perform a closer inspection to see the rust. Lesson learned: look closely for rust; pay for your own CarFax report; if possible take it to your independent mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection. We have spent over $3K on repairs in less than 8mos. The CarFax origin conflicted with a title search that was done when we got the title. It is possible they are using fake or altered CarFax reports. Please research your vehicle well. Buyer beware. These guys are crooked.

This guy's a loser. He did the easy fluid change and said he would do the safety repairs "when the parts came in". Any mechanic worth his salt could have had these parts the next day. I called him a few times. 3 months later, still no parts?? He just took the easy money to do the simple fluid change and that was it.
