Honest folks - great work at a reasonable price. Glad to see them back and running after the fire.

They supposedly fixed the problem; however, the car (a2018Camry) continued to leak leaving huge oil stains on my new garage floor. When I requested a refund I was given the run around and two of the managers all of a sudden no longer worked there. I contacted the corporate headquarters, who in fact did have the supervisor contact me. He told me on two occasions that he would send a form so I could obtain a refund. This took over five weeks. No form came until the supervisor was contacted again by corporate representatives. I was sent a digital copy which I completed, but the address they gave me would not accept the form. I finally drove a copy of the forms to the jiffy lube store where the work was done and left it for the manager. She had told me that she wasn't going to be there, so she had me leave it with another manager. As it turns out, the manager for whom I had left it no longer was "with the company". At this point, yet another manager told me she would contact the supervising manager to get the paperwork to him. We'll see if that happens. After all, it's only been two months since this whole mess transpired. Good news! Thank you Mr. Joiner for handling this matter. You were very kind, and I appreciate that this matter was handled although it was a little longer than expected.

How are we supposed to know that oil is in the alternator??? You want us to magically fix an issue that you caused before it happens??? No. I'm calling the news and my attorney. If you all don't fix this I'll be at Jiffy in the morning. Her oil change was 11/22, less than 90 days her car cuts off due to oil in/on the alternator and they are blaming us! We went back to the actual location for help when we saw the leak and they didn't even inspect anything just put the cap on and gave her a coupon. Now she has to pay out of pocket and they are using this as a reason to deny. Adan told me the manager at this location had been there for 3 weeks...he was new. So who was supposed to tell us they needed to see the car? Adan didn't get to me until a whole week after we called the location and the manager told us 24 hours for a response and I had to call corporate myself to get Adan! The mechanic even called and said come see the car I have the parts here for you to see everything the oil was still coming out of her car after repairs! This is said how you all treat people.

Unlike other places, they dried and vacuumed my car. However, I have a friend who opened a car wash closer to our home. I drive by it at least 20 times per week. This is not the case with Pal's. I assume that the costs are about the same. I always choose the cheapest price. At his car wash, the car owner dries and vacuums the car. Having said this, I understand that Pal's has changed owners. If this is true, things may have changed. I had made an appointment to have my foggy headlights covers cleaned. They were recommended to me by a trusted friend. I realized that I could not make the appointment, and as a courtesy to them, attempted to notify them that I could not make it. I phoned them, using the number supplied, only to discover it was disconnected. One of the reviewers complained that her dash "change oil" light came on two weeks after they changed the oil. This is a very common occurrence and has often happened to me. The light came on because the technician didn't re-set the code. The code re-set is easy to do and is explained in the auto manual. However, regardless of where you take your car, the technicians often forget to do so. Before leaving the bay, I make sure they change it. I believe in giving folks a chance to make me happy, often giving them more than one chance. This is especially true if the business is under new ownership or management. Plus, I want to see as many young people employed as possible. After all, they are paying my Social Security.

Had it towed to this Firestone. I knew it was the alternator that went. The mechanic at Firestone called me and said that the alternator and battery went bad. (Battery was fine, never a problem. He also said that oil was leaking on the alternator, which was BS. Said total would be $2900 to fix. I said do the alternator and battery only. He got upset, said didn't know if I would start stalling again, but finally agreed. Charged me $1600 for a battery and alternator. I called my mechanic and asked what it should cost, they said around $1000. The first rip off. After I paid and left, my car started stalling while idling, something it never did before. Stalled for my wife in traffic. I took a look and found a hole in the air intake hose right by the battery, which is why it was stalling. Repaired the hose, no more stalling. Either the mechanic didn't see the hole, which he should be looking for if the car stalled out, or more likely the scenario, he was mad I didn't fall for the full rip off he was offering and popped a hole in my air intake to make the car stall again. It never hesitated or stalled during idle before this mechanic touched it. It only stalled while driving on the highway at 70 mph because the alternator went bad. Therefore, my opinion, the mechanic set it up for my car to stall. Of course I can't prove it, but thought I would share the rip off story for you to make your own decision.
