    We had two completely separate reservations with this company for airport transportation --…read moredifferent names, phone numbers, addresses, and confirmation numbers -- but the same pickup time and flight. Both reservations were confirmed on Friday for a Saturday morning pickup. On the way TO LAX: My sister and brother-in-law were never picked up. At the scheduled 4:00am pickup time, they called the company and it went straight to voicemail. At no point did the company proactively reach out to us to explain what was happening. After repeatedly calling and getting no answers, they were forced to Uber to the airport. Only after multiple calls did the company finally say there were "car issues." By then, they would have missed their flight if they hadn't arranged their own backup. On the way BACK from LAX: My sister and brother-in-law were picked up -- but my parents and I were not. Again, no one from the company contacted us. When my mom called, she was told "let me call the driver and see where he's at." No one ever called her back. Instead, the company called my sister's driver to say there was no driver for us. When my mom called again, the explanation changed and they blamed both failed rides on a "computer glitch," despite previously blaming car issues. Throughout all of this, every update came only because we kept calling them. There was zero proactive communication, accountability, or apology. If there were known issues, we should have been notified so we could make alternate plans -- especially for airport transportation. The one bright spot is Steve, the driver who did take me to the airport and later drove my sister and brother-in-law home. He was communicative, professional, and great. Unfortunately, due to the ownership/management, lack of communication, and how these situations were handled (including by the owner, Noah), we will never use this company again and strongly recommend others do not either. After looks at other reviews, it also seems that "car issues" or traffic are common excuses used here.

Most recently, I needed to use the service for a pick up from UCLA to home for my baby Bruin who wanted to come home for the Halloween weekend. While I easily could have went with Uber, Rich gave me an incredible deal that came out to the same as Uber. Our driver was Harry. Not only was he amazing, but he was completely reliable and most importantly safe. The car was spacious enough for my Bruin to bring home laundry to do at home. So if you have a college student who needs to arrange a ride home, Happy Shuttle is definitely the place to call. They continue to exceed expectations and their prices are affordable. Will definitely be using them again!

For our roundtrip airport transport, we confirmed twice over the phone that we needed a rear-facing car seat and a vehicle that could fit five passengers with luggage. The driver showed up without the correct car seat, and the car was too small for our bags. When we brought this up, we were told the driver "forgot." This created a stressful and unsafe ride for our baby. On our return ride, the same driver was over 20 minutes late, joked on the phone that "no one's coming," and when we asked for an ETA, gave no clear answer. When my elderly father expressed frustration, the driver threatened to leave us at the airport. This was deeply unsettling--especially since the driver knew our home address. After the trip, I spoke with Rich (the manager), who acknowledged both incidents were unacceptable and promised a refund and a free ride to make it right. Neither happened. It's not about the money--it's the principle. The broken promises and continued lack of follow-through make me feel we were lied to just to de-escalate the situation. I don't take writing negative reviews lightly, but this experience was unacceptable. This company may have good ratings, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. I would not trust them again--especially if you're traveling with children.
