I wish I had a picture of how unprofessional my nails were done, but they fell off within 2 hours of getting them done. I walked in to them across the store on their phones, stood at the front for 5 minutes, and very loudly had to address them to be serviced. I got acrylics that most nail artists (even beginners) should be able to do. 3 plain nails and the other two with a french tip and a star design. I don't remember who it was (I think Kimberley) but she roughly cut and filed my nails, causing them to go red and the ends look like they were ripped off. She trimmed my cuticles and ended up ripping them out so hard my nails were bleeding. Halfway through was the first time they mentioned that they could only take cash. I was visiting from out of state, so I didn't have cash on me. Anyways, the nails were also cut uneven and at different lengths. The person I went with had them cut so poorly they're shorter than her actual nails and has been cut multiple times. The french tips were off center and also poorly painted on. We figured, oh well, you win some and you lose some. Mine were 80$ and the design I wanted wasn't even complete. She couldn't do the star so I pivoted to a diamond. I explained it, drew it on paper, on my nail, and pulled up multiple pictures and she couldn't figure it out. It ended up being a circle with lines. It looked juvenile so I decided to just have the french tips. Also, she put polish underneath the nails after scratching them like you're supposed to assist in adhering to the nails after scratching. The polish completely voids that because it creates a smooth surface that the glue can't hold to. We left and I took a nap because of jet lag and when I woke up 3 of them were loose and then I moved my hand and they came right off. How does that happen? I wear press ons stronger. Within 10 minutes all but one was off, and all I did was stand up and show someone they came off. The final one came off in the car and left my nail red for hours. By then it was closed and I had an appointment the next morning. We went in and asked for a refund. They refused despite the onslaught faced. Their manager said no and they called the owner who was overseas who said absolutely not. It was either getting them redone or a gift card. We're leaving town so we don't have time or opportunity to use the card. "Give it to family or friends" Why would they want to get their nails done here? We spent 20 minutes trying to get a refund and finally settled on the gift card since it wasn't worth the time. And they took the nails (I collected all of them since they came off so quickly, they didn't get lost) so I couldn't even put them back on like drug store press ons. 80$ nails and I don't even get to keep the mediocre nails that took over an hour. (Honestly not sure I'd want to wear them though) read more

My girlfriends and I wanted to try a new place for a girls night out. We all decided to do mani-pedis and made an appointment. When we walked in, we were not greeted right away. Once greeted, it was from behind the entrance, which blocked our view. No one took the time to actually say hi. We waited a few minutes and then we were seated together at the pedicure chairs. The water was SO hot that I asked the gentleman to turn it down. He laughed and put a bit of cold water in the faucet and said it would be fine. It was not fine. My feet legitimately burned. I had to wait to put them in the water for 10 minutes. We all decided to do the $60 pedicure with wax. The polish and creams were great. I did not get any leg massage. And when they put the wax on my foot, it burned again. So much that I had to ask him to remove it until it cooled off. My friend's foot burned, as well. Then, we all got manicures. I asked for dip, but they did a dip powder followed by gel color. That's not what I asked for but was told it's the only way to do it. Without washing my hands, they put hand cream on me, which just made my hands feel grimey. I had to wash the cream off. The nails themselves are also sharp. Not my best manicure. And at the end, they prefer venmo or zelle. I had some cash and paid the rest with credit card, which they charged me $3 to use. There were no signs for fees. I find that frustrating. I will not be back. There are enough other nail places to visit in the area. read more

Very unprofessional. Said water was fine, when it was too hot. And kept repeating after he added just a drip of water that it's good now. No it wasn't. I'm the customer. I know the temperature that's comfortable for me. Was NOT gentle in cutting and tending to nails. Some areas still stinging seven hours later. Very impersonal. Did not interact at all except to ask what color and to push what he wanted. I said I did not want gel, and he tried to push me to do gel. He conversed with other workers in their language during pedicure and was laughing hysterically. Thought that was extremely rude. Was not attentive or careful during pedicure. Did not check back after getting his money to see if polish was dry. The person who did my friend's checked back. Actually the WORST pedicure I've ever had and worst customer service. Worst experience I've ever had anywhere. The guy yelled and hollered at me for over 10 minutes for no reason, i had told them I didn't want gel polish because you cant get it off. Well they put gel on and now I can't get it off. I went in to ask them to take it off and the man yelled at me. He told me there was no manager and no owner which I dont believe. How rude! Kind of a dirty salon with no prices posted and they just throw numbers left and right out. I was watching everyone's face when they would throw out numbers of 55.00 or 75 and not one person questioned it or asked but just stood there with a puzzled face trying to figure out the math. They will nickel and dime you for everything even add a processing fee if you use a card. At least they take Venmo. So there's a win. I remember when the these types of salon were the more affordable options and many people chose these salons over a nicer salon like place with higher prices. If I could leave zero stars I would, I'm normally not one to complain or leave bad reviews but this really upset me. My 16 year old daughter went to get a new set of nails for her winter formal. She normally goes somewhere else but her lady was booked so she decided to give it a try at local place. She was charged $95 for acrylics. It's a very poorly done job not only the shape of the nails but the paint, she asked for something very basic. The fact that they let her walk out of the nail salon with those nails and on top of it charged her $95 is just unacceptable. First and last time there for sure! read more

I had my nails done PRIOR (2020) to the pandemic and they had a very nice nail tech help me with that manicure, I loved her. I went back today and my how things have changed. I had a manicure and left disappointed. I had an appointment, still waited 15 minutes to get a chair and the nail tech was incredibly rushed. I still had cuticle pieces hanging from my nail, she debated with me when I showed her, she recut my cuticles (after applying polish!). It appeared she was rushing through me to get to the next customer, very unprofessional. I always look forward to the nice arm massage after a manicure, I basically got lotion applied to my hands, minus the massage. I thought I would treat myself to a nice manicure, I'm so disappointed and not happy. The crazy part, I still tipped her - I just won't go back. Well this one didn't last long! Had a couple great Mani/Pedis with John but he went home for time away and i hope he had a great time but in his absence his co-workers made a poor showing. Not only did I ask for the "dip gel nail" and it was not done but after 5 days my nails were chipping and the nail beneath tearing. I phone on the 6th day and spoke with Michael whom said to come in for a free repair. I explained that i worked and it wasn't "right around the corner" to drive to Green Valley. He asked when I could be in - Tuesday afternoon around 2 or 3. Ok. I arrived at 2:10 today, Tuesday. My two damaged thumb nails had turned to a total of 5 damaged nails in less than two weeks. Mind you i never go in to get my nails done under 2-1/2 weeks and usually have no problem lasting 3+ weeks; until Expert Nails. They refused to repair, did give a discount on a new manicure but again, no dip and a rush job at that. Didn't want to argue further as the minute I tried to demand proper customer service - Tina and staff began speaking in their native language, which is fine but a bit intimidating when they are refusing the service that was promised. I dearly doubt I'll be back and still looking for a good place to get my nails done right, professionally with true customer service. Originally 4 stars for fun environment (which ended up being a farce) subtract 5 for rudeness and not honoring agreement, and I'll add back a couple extra stars for the service John provided over the holidays - thank you John. Will update as to how long this manicure lasts - i don't expect much as it's not what i asked for! UPDATE - if I could give 0 stars, I would - polish coming off less than 24 hours - and it's GEL! Just called and again - off in native language and refusing to speak with me, me as the customer! No repair, no refund, no help. Currently wearing a bandage on my thumb out of embarrassment! Second and last time here. Tina was more interested in her phone than my $50.00 manicure. French powder dip was a disaster before I left. My natural nails were cut at different lengths, uneven powder and the first chip was within a day and the second MAJOR chip 2 days later. Try getting an appointment around here a couple days before Christmas at the last minute with another salon is impossible. Never again! So very disappointed! My usual place was booked so I decided to try it out. Went here on Thursday to get an acrylic overlay and gel polish. Nails chipped less than three days after. I am so sad that the money was wasted all I was doing was washing dishes (with gloves on)) and they still chipped and the second I opened my sock drawer! I wouldn't go here because I can tell from experience the quality might be lacking. My nails last at least 2-3 weeks at another salon. Disappointed. read more

I went here with my 9 year old. I always get gel mani/pedi from another salon, but the person I have always gone to moved to Phoenix. My GEL mani chipped at day 2. A gel mani usually will last me 2 weeks. My GEL pedi chipped at day 5. My gel pedis last until I take it off, sometimes 2 months. Lastly the technician kept filing my nails, even after she had put on the gel polish. My nails ended up very short and the polish does not even go all the way to the edges or the cuticles. Today 8/19/2021 i went in for a pedicure I had acrylic on one toe from going to another salon and the acrylic on the other toe had already fallen off so i asked if she can remove the acrylic from the one toe said fine we can get it done. while she was filing and cutting my cuticles she cut me numerous times and made me bleed. she files them (barely) and starts applying polish without removing the acrylic from my toe. she covered it over with polish and let me leave this way. She also still had the audacity to charge me $48 dollars for my unsymmetrical toenails. I have really bad anxiety and i couldn't find the courage to say anything. This place needs to be shut down or hire people who care about their job & experienced. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

I do not recommend this place. They act nice but truly don't care about regulars and will humiliate you. I was a regular and I gave very good tips everytime to my tech but no more after I went for my appointment I scheduled in advance for today. I went in for my appointment today that I had made with the tech himself a week ago and they didn't have my appointment in the book when I got there and I do have the call logged in my phone showing I called last week. As I was checking in the lady at the first station laughed at me and looked over at my tech who was working in someone which isn't abnormal. She looked up and asked if I had an appointment and I told her I did and gave the techs name. I guess what I had said was funny to the entire team of techs because they all laughed. I aaked what was funny and she asked me what my name was like she didn't know me but I've been going there for a while now. I gave her my name and she asked again if I had an appointment. I told her yes I do. I told her I called last week and spoke to a lady who then gave the phone to my nail tech which I then made the appointment with him directly. Again they all laughed and at that moment of being laughed at a second time I turned to her and said it's all good I will just find a new place to spend my money. I would spend over $120 and bring friends and family with me at times but after being humiliated like I was today I will absolutely recommend to everyone who ask me about this facility to spend their money at a place that actually appreciates their regulars. Side note....this was the second time they messed up an appointment with me. They have multiple pics of my nails on this site showing I was a regular. Just shows how they truly care. The ladies are awesome! Been coming here for years. Haven't been in a while, but they still remembered me! Jenny is awesome if you want to get your nails done. And if you need some waxing done, her sis Jasmine is the one to go to. These two are amazing! Prices are very affordable. No appointment necessary, but I do recommend it if you want a particular nail tech or my Jenny! What?? Charging extra for using a debit card? Had to beg to get dipped nails. The staff wanted me to have gel nails. I had to change seats 3 times during my nail session so the staff could work on different people. The third person providing my nail service only spoke to me twice. Once to tell me to go wash my hands without using soap and the second time was to inform me that by using my debit card she would charge me more. Business at Expert Nails must be excellent in order to maintain customers. I had to set out in the parking lot to file down a broken nail that I previously informed the nail technician to fix. The staff were nice. The nail polish selection was plentiful. It didn't smell like a nail salon which is good because I hate that chemical smell. However the prices are not posted and the language barrier was hard to understand. For example make sure you know exactly what the price is for manicures. When I called they said they were $15. They convinced us to do a gel manicure. Which we didn't realize was $28. We were out of town and passing thru so we most likely won't be coming back but wanted to give others a heads up. read more
