The nail salon has an older couple and their lil shitzu dog. No other employees. Not sure about the language situation in other reviews. The couple speak to one another briefly and stay concentrated on your needs. The place is small and exceptionally clean. read more

Had a mani n a pedi. The lady was excellent. She did an express gel mani (no massage.) n a regular pedi. Was about to tell her an express pedi but when she started on the massage it was just heavenly. So my day went fabulous cause of my heavenly massage n my expertise gel mani. I wish I could give a negative 5 stars Really got the bums rush! Worst mani/pedi And worst customer service Ihave ever had. I was scheduled for 4:30 pm. I arrived and an angry looking and sounding woman impatiently used hand signals for me to come sit in a pedi chair. No attempts to make sure I was comfortable. A young man who spoke no English and was so timid that I may have been his first pedicure. The angry woman filled a cup with cold water and put one hand in the water as she had me twist towards her while she started doing my mani! All this lasted maybe 25 mins then I was asked for my credit card and rushed out the door. What a waste of $72! They spoke to each other in a foreign language over me;, really I was stupid to stay and pay. This was abuse. I had never been there; did not know these people and will never ever go there again. I'm really picky about my pedicures, but I wanted to find a place that was closer to home. I walked in and it was just myself, the 2 owners, and their dog. The guy did my pedicure. I have never had someone use a pumice stone to scrap my feet. The pumice stone looked dirty and used. It didn't feel well at all. I didn't even get a massage. He put some lotion on for like 30 seconds then started painting my nails. He didn't even put enough paint because you can still see my toenail. read more

The folks here were EXTREMELY SWEET, but unfortunately that doesn't carry too much weight when I really felt the solace was not sanitary. I washed them wash the tools in the sink and then use them on the person next to me. The place was super dingy. They had a dog running around the shop and I just didn't find that sanitary at all. I told him to not clip my toenails or do anything special because I didn't want to get any type of nick and get an infection. Needless to say I won't be coming back. read more

I have been moving for a month and my feet and hands looked it. Today I found GV Nail Spa online and tried it out of exhaustion. I'm quite pleased. After years of going to larger salons where they rush then push you out the door, this was a refreshing change. It is truly a mom and pops operation. I'll support that! I was hesitant when I pulled up and walked in, it's not the style I'm used to. It's more like someone's converted kitchen; clean, cozy and welcoming. It's teeny tiny, only two pedi chairs, two waiting chairs, and I think four nail stations. Very homey and friendly. The only thing I could ask for is a bit better ventilation. The owner probably doesn't even notice. It hit me hard at first, so either I got used to it or the fans kicked in. That aside, I recommend this place. My feet are so smooth now. I also got a simple mani to get me through. I no longer look like I chew my fingernails. They did a super nice cleanup on me and I'm scheduled for my next appointment. read more

So, don't get me wrong this place is cute and small. I went in with my daughter and had our nails done pedicure and full set. Her nails broke within 20 minutes of leaving and the nail polish was horrible . I asked for Matt and I swear it was worse than the feet picture . Now as for myself I asked for ombré pink and white Matt nails . Coffin . I'll post the picture of what I showed them also . It was a yes I can .... We'll the thickness of the nails is beyond , my hands were reacting bad to a chemical or brush she was using so I was so itchy , oh and when she was doing the pedicure she dipped the stick to get the red orange scrub multiple times with the same stick than directly on my feet , I was so grossed out . I noticed it was not Matt nails within the second she was doing my nails ... I told them I wanted Matt ," no next time" like hello! I'm not about to pay 139for these nails to not get what I'm asking for ... I also asked for Matt of the full set . Again no next time because it takes longer to buff like?? What ?? Again I'm paying for it ... okay and then I asked for an eyebrow waxing... again at the end it was next time !!! I was already annoyed they charged me I left a 10 dollar tip right but they charged me an extra 15 and had me sign it . I questioned it .. oh it's part of the tip. ??? Now this the guy came back and gave me back 9 bucks from that. . Never again . So disappointing read more

Unfortunately the second time around, when I decided to take my mom, they messed up my appointment that I made in person and they couldn't get to our pedis, only received hurried manis. Think they got too popular too fast at the expense of losing a good customer. I've found another nail place since. They're really sweet but I had to find something more reliable. I'm in town visiting and went to GV Nail Spa for a pedicure. I was greeted at the door by the sweetest lil doggie, Coco. The salon was clean and Tina was very pleasant to chat with. She and her husband, John are so sweet. My nails look great, they took their time to make sure they were just how I wanted them. Reasonable price, and Tina would not accept a full tip! We were visiting my mother in law in Green Valley and she recommended this nail salon for my daughter and I. My mother in law and her sister have been going here for 3 years after checking out all the other salons in the area. They have been very happy here and have appointments every 2 weeks, so my daughter and I made an appointment. We both got a gel mani and pedi. John and Tina were very friendly and super easy to talk to! Their work is very meticulous and careful They are mindful and perceptive to not cause discomfort while working. They told me exactly how to remove the gels when I was ready and even gave me some supplies to do it! Appointments recommended but not required-they book up fast. Thank you John and Tina! read more

Very nice and sincere couple! My Mom and I walked in, no appointment and they got our feet soaking for pedicures within minutes. Tina was very pleasant with great conversation. The cost of our pedicures was very reasonable and when I tipped her, she wouldn't take the full tip! Such nice people and our toes look great. read more
