I went in because I needed fills and 2 of my nails were broken. The gentleman who was working on my nails proceeded to put the acrylic powder on my 2 nails without putting a nail tip on them. When I asked him if he was going to put a tip on them he got angry, gave me a very dirty look, threw the brush down on the counter, then opened his drawer and took out his box of nails to put the tips on, My nails have a natural curve so ANYWHERE I go to get my nails dove, the nails that they put on me actually have a little curve to them. The nails he put on me made both my nails look straight and nothing like the way the rest of my nails look like, So I complained about the way they looked to the owner and she said it's because the nails they use don't curve. None of the nails at the places I have been to have curved nails so that wasn't the issue. He had glued the nail tip too far down at the end of my nail which made it looked straight. The owner kept on saying that it's because my nails curve and theirs are straight, she wasn't understanding what I was trying to explain to her. My thumb as well had a big bubble of nail polish right by my cuticle which looked horrible, ALL my nails looked horrible! I absolutely love this place, they really listen to what you want and do a great job of replicating it! My friend recommended this place and it's now my go to place. Seriously couldn't imagine going anywhere else, Jackie and her team are amazing. I typically get dip nails and a pedicure with regular polish, and I've never gotten dip before and they are my new favorite type of nails now. Especially since they are still my real nails. But seriously if you want gems, designs, glow in the dark polish, glitter etc, they have absolutely everything!! I love that when you walk in it's very clean and smells good, and they have a snack stand for her customers to take. And even some waters and sodas in the fridge for us to grab. 10/10 love this place!!! read more

Today, 5/17/24, received the worst Dip nail service. my nails are thick, clumpy and different shapes. Jackie's Nail salon was highly recommended and had great reviews so I decided to try since it is 5 mins. from my house. An elderly man did my service, spoke no english and probably didn't understand. me when questioning things. Maybe another nail tech is better at this service and maybe he's better at other services but Gel. I'll just stick to my regular salon which is on the other side of town but have learned it's worth the drive. lesson learned. read more

The BEST nail salon that I've been to in ALL of Tucson. They not only do exceptionally beautiful work but they also offer superior customer service which is NOT easy to find in nail salons across Tucson. I don't care how good of work that a business offers, if the customer service is poor, then I'm not returning. Jackie and her techs all do beautiful work and they don't skimp on the customer service and friendliness. This is important and lacking in the nail salons that I've been to in Tucson. Often, good customer service will come on strong when you first start at a nail salon, and then after a while, it begins to slack. It's a real problem in Tucson and why many quit going and try doing it themselves from home. I see Tony and he does BEAUTIFUL work. He's so kind and patient when deciding what it is that you want to do. The owner, Jackie, is always there with a genuine smile and it's contagious because her techs and clients are all smiling as well. The vibe is easy-going, warm and friendly. So, I'm almost embarrassed to write this review since the nail shop is not very clean and they don't seem to care much about the decor or even attracting additional customers. However I've been coming here to get my eyebrows waxed for the better part of ten years. (I know, crazy right?) Lan waxes then in literally 2 minutes and they always come out perfect. I figure I can't really catch a disease or anything from wax right? Hopefully? But every time I visit, there are at least 3 people before and after me there to see Lan for a wax. So I'm not the only person frequenting this little shop. Aside from Lan, can't say much more about the customer service or overall performance of this shop. read more

I went in at 10:35 (opens at 10am) and 1 lady was there with a customer, she was dry and seemed irritated, kept saying "they are coming soon". She put my feet in water and finally at 11:15 this man comes in and starts working on my feet, he didn't say a word or nod to me. He worked on my toes and buffed the sides of my feet "slightly" but did not work on the bottom of my feet AT ALL!!!!!! Yes, my feet have polish on them but the bottom of my feet are still rough from wearing sandals (that's why I went). Now, tonight I have to spend this evening soaking my feet and using the foot file, when I should be enjoying my new pedi I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! I wasted my Saturday morning and evening, wasted Money$$ and I missed out on that relaxed feeling you get on the first day of your pedi My impression was, they feel like they are doing you a favor but are quick to take your money and tip and be done with you. I do not ever write reviews, this is probably only my second review in my entire life. Came here once and never again! I came for a pedicure, I was the only person there, the 4 employees there were chatting up a storm, I was attended by the owner of the shop, I immediately noticed how dirty and unsanitary this place was, super filthy, outdated, and went against my better judgement and decided to give it a shot. The owner immediately asked who did my last pedicure and started to judge the work they had done and pretty much nominated himself as the best one out there. He finished my pedicure and It was very nice, I was happy with his work. Fast forward 3 weeks, I started to notice how my big toe nail would hurt so much when I would apply pressure to it. I thought maybe I had an ingrown toe nail, a couple of days later I decide to take the nail polish off to see why it hurt so bad and I was MORTIFIED!!! I had the worst toe nail fungus! I was so freaking disgusted!!! It took 3 full months of constant treatment and care to get rid of it. DO NOT COME HERE! I don't know how in the world this place passes inspection! read more
