I made an appointment one month prior to the service date to ensure that i could get the maintenance performed. The day prior i was told that the work would be performed between 10 am and 2pm. I waited all day, no show. I got a call at 155 from a technician saying he would be there at 3 or later. THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE. My time is as vaulable as what Expert Shutters was going to charge me. i wasted an entire day waiting. It would have been nice for a heads up. We installed their shutters and now we're out of warranty and apparently, we're out of their area. I called for a repair but I was told that they will not work on them. Interesting how we were in their area when they wanted to install and sell us their shutters. No one else works on them. Do not install these shutters! If you have issues in the future, they will not be resolved. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE - December 2022, I called Expert Shutter Services Inc. to repair my Florida shutters. I was not at location when the crew came to fix the shutters as the crew was let in by management to fix. ALL PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF REPAIR. However, I returned in January, 2023 I put the shutters up. When we were leaving in June, 2023 I attempted to put shutters down and the shutters would NOT go down and realized that it was caught in the bin that burst. Then I also realized guard was never installed at the time of repair. Upon calling Expert Shutters to address the repair on their shoddy work, they stated " they couldn't come back for 2 months to address the issue that was never completed in December! I asked to speak with the supervisor, owner ASAP to explain the situation and NO ONE HAS CALLED TO DATE to speak with me about the much needed repair that was NEVER completed! Extremely poor customer service! I would give "0" stars! Cost me more money to fix their incompetence! I was referred to another Shutter Co. and I was extremely grateful and satisfied that it was serviced on the same day that I noticed the horrendous problem created by Expert Shutter Services! Problem was addressed and fixed properly by new company! The New Co. working on the shutters addressed all the Shoddy work. read more

Now that things have calmed down, I want to share information on what I consider to be one of my smartest choices in years. Especially because I witnessed people spend hours on getting their windows covered with traditional shutters. Back in April, I decided that I wanted to get accordion shutters for my house. I just couldn't see myself trying to put up the Hurricane panels or plywood. I wanted Hurricane windows, but it was not financially feasible. I did a lot of calling around and decided to go with Expert Shutters in Port St. Lucie, FL, because of the initial contact with their company. The lady on the first call was very professional and her customer service was fantastic. I had a ton of questions. Within a few days, Tom came out and measured my windows and provided a quote that was very reasonable. The shutters were ordered and my house was completed before the start of hurricane season. I had no intentions of ever using the shutters , but let me tell you, it was a breeze to close them. I had a problem with a lock on Wednesday, and not only did Tom, the sales rep come out and look, but he took the lock out, took it to their business, fixed it and came back on Wednesday. Amy that works there is top notch. She listened to my concerns and said she would send Tom out right away. Tom is so nice and took his time to show me everything. I had my house sealed up in less than an hour, once I knew what I was doing. I have been so impressed from the get go, and the treatment I received in Wednesday, solidifies my choice. When we knew that Hurricane Irma was heading our way, we checked our accordion shutters and they were not locking into place correctly. We called a few companies to do maintenance on them on Monday. They said how busy they were and would try to get to us. Expert Shutters called us and said there were techs in the area on Thursday. 2 guys came and we're great, they fixed all the shutters and put our minds at ease knowing that hurricane was heading our way. We highly recommend this company. We are now planning to add more accordion shutters and will definitely use them!! read more

Expert Shutter was a pleasure to do business with. Their sales guy George was very friendly and professional. I really liked that they gave a print out of the estimate right on the spot in my home. After that the owner Mike came out to verify the final measurements and he was very professional and seemed to care a lot about his business and making sure things are done right.
