What we didn't expect was the absolutely first class experience of staying at this true RV resort! We arrived on a hot summer day, covered in dust from our forest adventures, and were glad that we could check in a bit early (we'd called from town and yes, our spot was already clean and available). Upon checking in at their extremely well-appointed (and very friendly) from office, we were guided to our site by a nice gentleman in a golf cart. He showed us around the site, including locating all of the plug-ins and informing us about when the lawn is watered daily so we could avoid being sprayed. He also told us about a few great perks, like just leaving your trash or recycling at the end of the campsite and it would be picked up hourly. Or the fact that their well-appointed on-site grocery store would deliver ice, beer, or pretty much anything you wanted to your site free of charge! Besides the over-the-top service, this resort is absolutely beautiful. There's a reason "garden" is in their name. The roadways were lined with all sorts of well-groomed plants and beautiful, blooming flowers. And there were constantly maintenance people around pruning, trimming, mowing, and just taking darned good care of the place. The resort also features a pool (which we didn't have a chance to enjoy), and (in addition to the well-stocked grocery store) an equally impressive RV parts shop and large gift/souvenir area as well. The only improvement I would personally make to this park is to offer some sort of shuttle to town, especially when there are events. But that's a minor critique as the location is just perfectly situated between Sisters and Bend, and within a few minutes drive of recreational opportunities and plenty of food. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

Charming, Clean Urban RV Park with Great Hospitality…read more We decided to spend a night at The Camp after being drawn in by descriptions of vintage trailers, though we didn't end up seeing any during our brief stay. When we arrived, we accidentally pulled into the wrong campsite. The manager kindly pointed out our mistake, but rather than making us hitch back up and move, he generously let us stay in the spot we'd pulled into since it was right next to our assigned space. That extra bit of flexibility and hospitality was very much appreciated! The park itself was exceptionally clean and featured a great little dog park for our pet. I thought it was clever that the bathrooms and laundry facilities are housed in portable units, which surely keeps overhead costs down without needing permanent structures. However, the laundry facility was out of order during our stay. It also would have been nice to have a picnic table at our site; I noticed none of the sites had tables provided. Overall, it's a convenient, well-kept spot to stay in Bend, and we would happily return.

Even if we weren't doing a large event, we would have been very pleased with the amenities, the cleanliness, the amazing staff, and beyond. The site is situated in the end near a fence. Across from the fence is a pretty busy road. The site itself is wide. Tricky getting. If the site next to you is occupied. August 26-29, 2025 - La Pine, OR…read more We've stayed at La Pine Campground a few times over the years, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The campground is divided into three loops, each with its own character. The North Loop offers water and electric hookups, with sites that are more widely spaced than the others--something I really appreciate. That extra room makes it feel quieter and more private, and it's probably where we'll book our next stay. The Middle Loop has full hookups, while the South Loop is the busiest, featuring full hookups as well as some cabins. . There are many hiking/cycling trails (dog-friendly), and the Deschutes River runs through the campground. There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a large dog park. Unfortunately, we were a bit restricted in our outdoor activities because of the smoke from the two fires in the area. There was actually ash falling on one of the days. Also, there had been several sightings of a mountain lion in the area, so that added a bit of caution to our activities. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back.

Some sites are fairly tight, while others had some nice room. The trails here were very enjoyable. Serene surroundings around the river and through the trees. The bath house is large and we could understand with as many people using it on a daily basis, why it takes a couple hours to clean it. Also a laundry in there. We were there during the same time as the previous comment and we saw the camp hosts visit the rowdy campers several times that evening asking them to quiet down. Overall the scenery is beautiful and the campgrounds are clean and well run. Your supposed to be camping when you come here, so who needs cable. Go explore. There is also golf, a pool, tennis, pickle ball, horse shoes, and a large net for volleyball. Also very few camp grounds have water at every tent site. CCR RV does offer a large sink area outside the bath house for cleaning dishes and such. We really enjoyed our time there and will return again. When you talk to others staying in the park they have been coming there for years, so they must be doing something right.
