The grounds are beautifully maintained, the landscaping is outstanding, the restrooms are consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. It's obvious that a great deal of pride goes into the upkeep. Our one significant concern is the site assignment policy. For the past five years, we've requested a specific site when reserving a full year in advance, and each year we've been reassigned upon arrival. This year, we were placed next to the highway, with significant road and foot traffic noise. When we asked about it, we were told that larger sites are sometimes held for bigger RVs, but we later saw a much smaller rig in the site we had requested, which made the policy difficult to understand. We absolutely understand that managing reservations is complicated, but when all sites cost the same, it does seem reasonable that long-time guests who've reserved a year ahead should have a fair shot at the site they requested. This has become frustrating enough that, for the first time in many years, my wife and I are seriously considering staying elsewhere. That's disappointing because we truly enjoy this resort and would rather continue returning. We hope management takes another look at this policy, because fixing it would make an already wonderful place even better.

The best part was meeting Toni, who works here. We accidentally ran into her and she was so helpful. Told us what spots we could stay in and gave us some directions on places to eat. Okay - this is JUST about customer service, not the facility…read more A person who was apparently travelling through Oregon and stopping at KOAs along the way got my phone number put into the system rather than his. So I started getting his text confirmations and other information. This happened at two KOAs - Central Oregon and Klamath Falls. Klamath Falls people didn't care and became snarky and abruptly ended the conversation (refusing to even try to correct the information in their system). Central Oregon, however, was the exact opposite. Not only did they immediately recognize the problem and what it meant, but the woman who answered remembered 'Mike' and immediately contacted him to correct the information - then followed up with me to let me know it was fixed. This was absolute night and day - from complete indifference at Klamath Falls to truly caring customer service at Central Oregon. Nice to find a business who values their customers!

Comfortable waders and nice rigs! Matt spent time with each one of us, giving tips, changing lures, adjusting our indicators, and showing us where to fish the river. By the end, Matt's knowledge of the river landed each one of us at least one fish with 2 member of our group landing three fish each! It was a wonderful early spring fishing trip, a very premium experience, and a great lunch to boot! Will definitely be back to book again!
