I can't say enough amazing things about the salon and Nina the owner, who is an amazing colorist, and stylist. I think my favorite thing about Nina is that she makes you feel so warm and welcome each and every time, you feel like you are home with family. Her work is exceptional; I am at the salon once every two months and I see how Nina is with her other clients and how amazing she makes everyone look, no matter what type of hair the person has. She does all the work herself which I love, it's not often that you get the owner themselves to color and cut your hair.

I'm always worried that they won't be able to do my fades correctly (salons tend to not know how to use clippers, barbers tend to make me masculine.) but Jason took the time to listen to me and asked me what type of fade and how I wanted the blending. He did a good job. The washing station is at the back of the salon and the shampoo was was good. Soft gentle head massage as she washed and it was pleasing. I didn't get her name but I will ask next time. My only complaint of this whole experience was the smell of the towels they used to wrap my hair in after washing... they smelled like mildew like they weren't properly dried after washing. I removed it from my head immediately and one of the ladies threw it in the hamper. Overall I am happy with my cut today and I might add that the entire service cost $25 so it was affordable! They were getting busier and busier as the time went on so it's obvious they are doin g something right! Thank you Jason!

My fiancé asked if the barber could wash his hair first and the guy yells at him saying "I don't have time for that. You can leave now"! I a told the guy we made an apt and still the barber refuse to cut my fiancés hair. He's BLIND and this is discrimination! You can't reuse ti cut someone's hair even tho they're disabled! Once you go to Salvo, you won't want to go anywhere else. He has the patience of a saint (I get super scared anytime I have to cut my hair) and always does the most amazing work. He's a perfectionist. He's transformed my hair quite a few times. From caramel balayage to blonde, there is no one better. I have converted my friends to believers as well - I have even recommended my male friends to get haircuts by Salvo and they too are believers now. His work is nothing short of art. In regards to the service in the salon, Salvo has only the best employees. I have neck issues so I can't bend backwards into the sink for washing, but his staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The place is always spotless and the receptionists are always professional. If you are driving here, there is convenient street parking out front. You walk in, no fuss, he completely knows what he is doing, and gives you a flattering cut. I love it. That's all I want: a reliably good cut from a professional. I don't need a glass of wine.
