Worst service I have had in a long time. Terribly rushed and sloppy manicure-very unclean salon. Once I left I felt like I had polish under my fingernails-which were filed SO unevenly. I can do a better job at home on my own and I am NOT good at doing my nails. I couldn't relax during this entire appointment because I was so concerned the whole appointment by how unclean the utensils and salon was. Awful. What a lackluster experience. Stopped in to get my mom a manicure and we were in and out in like 15 minutes. The cuticle trimming and nail filing was basically just going through the motions... pantomiming really, as was everything else. Lame. The only reason this isn't a one star review is because of the $12 price tag. read more

I made an appointment for dip and pedicure. The pedicure cost $30 and basically no massage at all. She keep trying to get me to do acrylic vs dip and I could not understand why until the end of the pedicure when she said you will need to wait as I cannot do dip. I asked if she could remove the foils on my nails and she said no. She said when one of the two other ladies are done they will do your nails. So 30 minutes later one of the ladies was done but said I cannot do your nails because my other appointment is here. It was like no one was running the shop and concerned about the customers. I did not want to wait another 30 minutes to the other lady was done so walked out with nails in a sad state and just paid for the pedicure. So appointment or not stay away from this nail salon. Sad customer service. Only reason I gave it any stars was the great massage chairs. read more

This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The manager was very rude and tried to blame my toes of an infection or blister but her employee actually ripped off the skin. I do not recommend and will never give them my money again! My toes should not look this way leaving a salon. The lady who did my feet also did not massage my feet or legs. There was no apology only accusations. read more

I am amazingly picky. I have found that Amanda and her staff do really great work. Are they customer service oriented? Meh. They prefer you to make appointments and if you're a walk in you get squeezed in. A lot of times you will have to wait if you don't get an appointment. I book mine ahead of time and I have never had a problem. The quality of work is great. Whether manicure, gel shellac, pedicure, acrylic...I've had them all. Right now am working on my natural nails but Amanda is great. I highly recommend. read more

Do not use their services! I had a gel manicure and got a horrendous nail infection. I've been on several antibiotics and can barely use my thumb. The facility was dirty and they reused dirty towels during my manicure and pedicure. The gel manicure ripped off my nails and several of my nail beds bled for at least a week. I am a doctor and this is the worst manicure I have had. read more

The hours on Yelp should be updated to reflect that they are open Mondays until 8pm. I live out of town, went on Yelp to find a spot to get a pedicure and this was my 2nd stop (1st stop was closed). I was taken right away and they did a fine job. I guess I'm surprised with how shabby the 2 salons I went to seemed compared to CT salons, and the prices are no cheaper! If I lived in the area, I'd go here again until I found something nicer. read more

I've been coming here for years, mediocre at times, but wanted to stay a loyal customer. However, when I called around 12:30 today, I made an appointment for 6:30 for scheduling reasons. I was sitting in the pedicure chair for 30 mins past my scheduled appointment in cold water. They didn't acknowledge me or didn't seem to care that I've been sitting there for 30 minutes. When getting up to leave because their services were 30 minutes late, they asked me if I could wait a little longer. They were clearly still only half way into their other jobs. I'm beyond disappointed that they do not honor their scheduled appointments. I will take my services somewhere else from now on. Don't bother making appointments, they do not follow those. read more

this is honestly the worst nail salon I've ever been to! I walked in and saw that a full set was only $25 so I got her to shape them in the coffin shape and she said it would be an extra $5. I said whatever and continued. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and they ended up looking nothing like what I wanted and horrible! Then when I went to leave she charged me $48. One of my nails broke within the first week so yeah, I will never ever go back here again :) read more

This nail salon does not even deserve a star. The service and work is terrible. I walked in to get an eyebrow wax. I have been here many of times. I sat down and waited for 45 minutes and they never said anything to me. I asked how much longer it would be and the owner responded with we are very busy. She said it would be another 45 minutes for me to get my eyebrows waxed. I left and came back and hour later. When I walked in they didn't say a work and took 3 people back ahead of me. I asked again how much longer it would be and they pretend like they didn't hear me. I strongly do not recommend this place. The people are rude and do terrible work. Stopped by today to get gel mani. Went to lady (I think owner?) who I've had before so I know she's experienced. The polish job was awful--jagged at cuticle line. I kept looking at it between coats thinking she'd even it out. I said it's not straight. She pretended not to know what I was saying, yet she spoke in her language to another employee. I said could we just take it off and she brought me a bowl of Acetone which turnedy cuticles white. I was ready to walk out and said I'd pay her half of $25. bill. She mumbled sorry. I was so hacked I made the mistake of giving her $22 instead of $12. In cash and didn't realize it until I left. Yet she took the money. read more

I was happy going there for a while but the other yelper is correct she wants appt then when you show up she's tending to someone else like they all do . They got greedy . Then one day I showed up like 10 minutes late and she raised her voice at me . I don't know if she might have misunderstood me for stupid . I felt like slapping her ass right back over the ocean to Vietnam . The pedicure is also done in a rush here . Don't expect some great relaxing massage she is busy answering phone or rushing . Trying a new place I read about that gives long relaxing pedicures Nail art salon & spa. Hopefully thy will have better customer service experience . read more

I used to go to this salon regularly, under the old owner, and thought I would try it again, many years later. I walked in on a Tuesday, mid-afternoon; only two other customers. Someone, I assume the owner, sitting in one of the pedi chairs halfway across the shop, asked what I needed without even getting up; when I said pedicure, no polish, she directed me to a chair (again, without getting up). Another woman came to do the actual pedicure. She carried a towel that appeared clean but was torn, did the usual pedicure, but while cutting a cuticle on my big toe cut so closely it bled. She said nothing, just put what I assume was alcohol on it, and continued. One of my peeves, though, is pedicurists who roughen the top of the nail even when I'm not getting polish--which weakens the nail unnecessarily. And that happened. Throughout this. the person I assume was the owner continued sitting where she was when I came, in, watching a soap opera with subtitles, but loud enough that it couldn't be ignored. Overall, my feeling was that nobody really cared about details-- how the shop looked to new customers, or the work, and were going through the motions. It was an adequate pedicure, but I can't say I would go back. Perhaps they're better at busier times, but it felt very dreary. read more
