I've been getting my nails done here for almost a year now and it's so relaxing each time I go. I just got my gelx fill in today and fell asleep while getting it done. My artist was so sweet, she made me coffee after she saw me sleeping. She also did a fantastic job on my nails, I love the environment and how cozy it feels here.

My daughter and I needed to get our nails done and I looked up salons near us. This salon was the first on the list. I read the reviews and looked at some of the photos posted. I called and made an appointment for today at 5:30. When we arrived everyone was so welcoming and we were seated right away. Tee was my nail tech and she was so sweet. I showed her my inspo picture and she nailed it. I couldn't be happier. I don't know the name of the nail tech my daughter had but he was awesome. He and Tee did an amazing job and we were so happy with the results. We definitely will be back.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Ive been coming here since I was 11 and am now 18 and today i had an absolutely amazing experience. I was having a terrible day before i got to expo and half way through my service i had realized i lost something important to me and the staff was very supportive and helpful to me all while i was frantically trying to find my lost item. After I took care of that and calmed down they comped my service and gave me a gift! After all their help and amazing customer service throughout the years they have earned my business time and time again! Ps. the work they put into their services is incredible i never leave unhappy

I got my nails done there last week... paid for a gel manicure and it's already peeling. But even worse, the hygiene is extremely poor. I got a fungal infection!!!! Very disappointed with the low quality and mediocre service here. I can see why this place is empty. I surely won't be returning. read more

Mai is literally the best! I came in and came out so quickly. I was so amazed on how quickly and efficient the staff work. The staff is super friendly and offered me refreshments. I got my nails done here last week and the staff was semi friendly which I appreciated. However, their quality was not the best. My nails broke 2 days after I got them done and now 4 have broken within the past week. When I asked if I could get refunded or have the nails repaired since they broke so fast, they said no. I will never be coming here again. read more

With so many options with nails it's easy to overlook small businesses like this, however Expo nails for sure deserves every bit of attention as the customer service and care towards customers is well above average. I honestly stumbled across this place because my daughters go to dance class across the street and I had time to kill. Man, I am so glad I gave them I try. Hai is theeee best, as soon as I sat with him I felt so comfortable and trusting in his work. Hai took his time to really shape my nails and gave me exactly what I wanted and more. He didn't try to sell me or convince me otherwise and knows the quality of his work and skills. I really appreciated that... and this, coupled with his care and attention to detail is what sold me on becoming a returning customer. Every time I go and I'm undecided on my color/design I give Hai my 100% trust and confidence and I always walk out with something beyond my imagination and expectations. This is the best nail salon in Buena Park! My bestfriend and I have been coming her for 6 years and we don't intend on going anywhere else! Our nail tech is Hai and he is amazing! Hai pays a lot of attention to detail and is very attentive when I'm explaining what I want. He is also very good at freestyle designs. If you want to book with Hai definitely make an appointment because he is super popular! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the environment is very relaxing. They give awesome pedicures too! As the other user stated,,,,got a message from Julie B saying "dont be jealous of my success..I thought you were not suppose to write your own reviews. It looks like I am not alone on this one. so I used to come here all the time, to Elizabeth for my pedi's. There was also another Vietnamese girl I would go to, but I forgot her name. They were so nice and we would chit chat and I would have the most perfect flowers. I always paid the $5.00 extra for the sea salt treatments. My $25.00 deluxe pedi was always around $30.00 with everything I would add. What brings my 4 stars down to 2 is that They dont work there anymore. What really bothered me about this place was when I would ask for them they would just say they were on "vacation"..really?Just tell me the truth...they dont work here anymore. Well I found out Elizabeth moved to American nails on Ball/Valley View near Wells Fargo/Petco. Thats where I go now. read more

For a perfect manicure and design ask for Mai!! The salon welcomes you kindly and keeps you hydrated with water and your sugar high with chocolates. I have been coming to this nail salon weekly for the last 3 months and today confirmed why they have won my business from another salon. I received hands down the best pedicure I have ever had today. Linda was amazing! (She isn't always there and apparently I got really lucky that she was today) She said it best as I was leaving when she said "people who go there are like family". I really feel that when I go in and they do an amazing job! On another note, if you are obsessed with your eyebrows and want them perfect, go to this place. I love how they do my eyebrows. read more

The overall vibe was very chill & relaxed and the nail technicians were friendly and accommodating. They even offered water & chocolates I felt so pampered! New costumer here. Had my appt. yesterday with Steven. I don't do pedis because of the horror stories I've heard. This was only my second pedi ever! Everyone was very friendly! They offered me water and chocolates and made me feel so comfortable. Steven was so gentle! It didn't even feel as if someone was giving me a pedicure! Would I go back? Yes! Mai and her brother Hi both do great nails, that's not the issue. The problem is that they treat you like shit. Reschedule your appointment with someone else as if you don't know who you scheduled the appointment with. Make you wait 30, 45, even an hour when your appointment is scheduled weeks in advance. Then Hi gets an attitude with you and says it's not his problem. Steven is the sweetest guy ever and I'll miss going to the shop for him and Jessica. In closing, go there for Steven he does great thorough pedicures. Everyone else in the shop has nasty attitudes even though you're paying premium prices. read more

I've been coming here for so many years now. No matter how far away I move I always make the commute because they're that good. Not only is their work of quality, but they are so kind. Hai always does my acrylics and gel manicures. Sometimes I request a color that I think would look nice with my skin tone and he'll immediately suggest a color that would look even better on me. He won't let me walk away looking basic :) They're also AMAZING with children. I took my 6 year old daughter for a simple $18 pedicure, but the older woman (can't remember her name) who did her nails offered to also paint her fingers for just $2 more. My daughter can't sit still for more than 2 minutes, but somehow this wonderful lady was so patient and able to finish her toes and fingers perfectly. She also did such a beautiful flower design on my daughter's toes. I love Expo Nails so much. Best salon in Orange County for sure. read more

The nail service here is great, Hai does an amazing job every time. Although if your planning to get a pedicure and waxing, try somewhere else. The lady (I cant remember her name) who did both my pedicure and waxing did such a terrible job. 1st if you cant do a simple french tip then you should be doing pedicures in the frist place. Second, she LITERALLY BURNT MY FACE. Worst waxing and pedicure service ever. read more

Thank you Twee! However, I was a bit disappointed because I was originally quoted $15 for nail removal without service, and $20 for basic manicure with $7 removal for $27 total. I realized afterwards that I was charged $35 for basic manicure and nail removal. Not sure if it was a mistake or not, but I hope there can be more transparency about pricing in the future. Edit: The owner of the salon reached out promptly and kindly helped to correct the mistake. Thank you, and I'll definitely be returning in the future for more nail services!

TOTAL $55. Never coming here again... don't waste your time. Came excited for my first pedi in 2 months, left absolutely disappointed and irritated for sitting in a chair for two whole hours.

When you first walk in the door everyone greets you and ask how they can help you, you are offered water and your choice of assorted chocolate sweets. I had the pleasure of having Hai as my nail technician. Hai took the time to ask me how I wanted my nails done, what I liked and didn't like done to my nails, that was a huge plus! Most nail technicians asked how you want your nails done, but you still have to remind them of what you like or don't like. Today, was my 3rd time at Expo Nails and Hai remembered. Steven is another nail technician who did my pedicure and let's just say he does a great job. Even though, I've only had Hai and Steven as my nail technicians, I am so sure the other staff members are just as good. Worse experience ever. I've been here a few times and kept going to the man named Hi I was very happy with him. I told him today that my nails were too wide last time but didn't say anything cause he was busy. Today I Showed him a pic of what I wanted on a set that was longer than my set I like mine short. He filed them and he asked if I liked them I said they were too narrow he got frustrated and had an attitude saying it's what I showed him. I asked if he can just do in between of what i originally had and what he just did. He had the biggest attitude got frustrated with that and was rolling his eyes. This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to, and I have been to many of them. I recently moved to the area from Huntington Beach, and a friend and I stumbled upon this place one day. I have been coming back ever since. They are not open on Sunday, which is a bummer, but I make it a point to fit in my mani pedi on Saturday. I wouldn't want to have to go anywhere else. Best experience at a nail salon ever. Steven did my nails and he was very meticulous with every detail. I got a gel manicure, noting fancy just a solid pink. I originally chose a baby pink but after I saw it on my nails I wasn't feeling it, he noticed and offered to change the color for me. He made sure to cover the original color 100% and with no additional charge. Everyone there made me feel relaxed, like we were all friends. Hai did his thing! I came in with a set from a previous nail shop & it was just bad. Hai did his best to fix them and he made them so much better. He makes sure you leave with a set that you love.
