The staff was super nice and accommodative. I asked if they could keep the length of my nails short because of my job and they did it the prefect length. This is my new favorite nail spot and will definitely come back!!

False advertisement they aren't doing 20% off but they have the sign still up . they want to charge extra for every little thing.

Enjoyed the experience at Nicesh Nails, the ambience was chill and everyone was so kind to me. My nails came out amazing and you can't be the prices!

As someone who is impatient, I was satisfied with how fast my nail tech finished my set but still kept the quality immaculate. The pricing is really good too, not to mention they offer free beverages. I would definitely come back and one of their regulars.

They used high-quality nail polish so my nails already look good after just 1 coat and have a wide range of colors. The workers are so sweet, I will definitely come back to do my next set again.

I have only been here once but i loved it! I need my acrylics removed and wanted a manicure. To make things even better, I'm a super busy softball mom and only had a shot period of time to make it happen. I called and they were super friendly on the phone. I only had to wait a few minutes once I arrived. The guy (I didn't catch his name) removed my acrylic buy cutting and peeling them off using an acrylic nail. Honestly this scared me as I usually just have them soaked off. But amazingly he did and AMAZING job without damaging my nails! The lady that did my nails did a super job as well. They were nice, thorough and most importantly, they worked quickly. I don't have much free time so getting things like this done on such a short notice is a huge plus for me. Thanks for the amazing job!!!

This Nicesh Nails & Spa is under new management and has customers appreciation 10% off plus offer free beverage as water, tea and coffee. This salon is cleanliness and breathable. The pricing is affordable. The owner and his staffs are high nail tech, nice and friendly. I am so happy and satisfaction to let this salon did my nails. I got to them the last day before shutting down again!! I needed a pedicure badly. Paint was a mess LOL. Very kind man and lady there. TV had english news on it. Very refreshing. (Most will have shows in their native tongues) Since I didn't know when I was going to be able to go back, I did clear polish LOL Since the invention of the "callus treatment", people just don't take the time anymore to just buff away rough skin like the good ole days. I do agree with Leslie L about the drill on the natural toenail comment. You do have to be very careful. I didn't know it was against state board. Not sure how they would remove the discoloration from polishing? I will go again though. They are close and they made me feel comfortable. read more

Under new management now. Still great service they are still trying to move stations around for different services. Prices are great. $20 for a gel manicure. $10 for manicure. They have a special going on $18 for a sugar scrub pedicure. Which isn't bad at all. I wasn't disappointed at all with the service I received. Even though I'm going to miss the old staff. I've been coming to this place since I was in high school so I've become comfortable with each tech. I believe the new ownership will do a fantastic job at this little nail shop. I plan on coming back for another service. read more

Never will I go here again always seen it and gave it a try my toenail has an infection now and my nail was cut incorrectly that I have an ingrown so bad I will go to the foot doctor. I didn't have this before. I guess I got what I paid for my new set of nails were not even shaped they look horrible like glued together. I don't recommend this place to anyone read more

My new favorite place! Got acrylics with gel and special pedicure/massage for total of $45. I was used to paying sometimes over $60 for the same work at other locations. Staff took their time and wasn't crowded for being a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely will be coming back & bring my mother & sisters here! read more

I've been coming here since October and they always do an amazing job on my gel nails. They last long so I come every 2 to 3 weeks and the staff is nice. It's a shame I won't be coming back anymore. Wanted to treat my 7 year old to a mommy daughter spa pedicure and it was such a disappointment. I called and made a appointment to ensure we can enjoy our time together. Walked in and there were no other customers there. Once my daughter and I sat down in the spa chair, a woman walked in and asked for a waxing. The nail lady said please wait a few minutes. I told her it was ok for her to do the waxing first because I didn't want my daughters pedicure to be rushed. She said ok. A man instantly started on my toes while my daughter soaked. After the nail lady was done with the waxing another woman walked in and asked for a waxing. The man doing my pedicure was already painting my toes!!!! Its now only been 10-12 minutes since I sat down in the chair!!! My toenails are uneven and hardly took anytime to do the cuticles or any type of grooming of that matter. One layer of lotion smeared on each leg and that was it. I'm upset at this point but I didn't want to make a big deal in front of my daughter becuase I wanted her to enjoy her time so I just kept my cool. The man finished painting my toes and started on my daughter. She pretty much got the same treatment except less. What was the point of making an appointment!? Time in total for two pedicures, 25 minutes. We didn't even get them at the same time. I kept looking at my toes, so the man asked if everything was ok. I very calmly told him I wasn't happy and what my issues were and He just said that will be $24 for 2 pedicures. Was not worth it. I was ready to pay the money ecspecially for my daughter and I to have a good time together. I just dont feel it was fair to pay $24 for our feet to soak in water and to get out toenails painted. I wanted to pay for an experience. I should have listened to my mom when she came a few weeks ago told me she also had a bad rushed experience. Ive also witnessed a similar thing getting my nails done before, watching a women who was dissatisfied with the man giving her a pedicure and ended in a screaming match becuase she spoke up and ended with the man telling her to never come back. I was shocked and felt lucky becuase I have never had a bad experience here. Until today. I paid the $24 just knowing the only experience I got here today was a little lesson on how poorly their service is when it comes to their pedicures. I was a paying customer today, and have been a loyal paying customer for 6 months. I guess they just don't care either way. SUCH A DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!! I thought they were more professional then that. read more

My visits to European Wax Center (EWC) are quite rare, like once every year or maybe even two. I've…read morenoticed once per year, they always put out a promo where you can get 50% off a new service, where "new service" is defined as any service that you have not received within the past 12 months. In this most recent case, I hadn't gone in two years, so really, any service would have been considered "new" to me. I went with the Brazilian Wax, which I did two years ago, and also tacked on an eyebrow wax because when in Rome. Or somewhere else in Europe I suppose? lol There are only two wax specialists at the Long Beach Towne Center location who can do Brazilian Wax on men: Millie and Brianne. I actually had Millie as my waxing specialist on a visit back in 2022, and while I thought she was good enough for me to recommend to others, I wanted to see how Brianne would compare. Immediately after I made my appointment, I gave them a call to see if the 50% off could be applied to the Brazilian Wax. Terrace (sp?) over the phone fielded my call and, initially, stated that since I had gotten the Brazilian Wax before, I couldn't use the 50% off on that. However, she immediately retracted her statement before I could say something when she realized that my last Brazilian Wax was way more than 12 months ago. I had forgotten about this until the evening before, but there are some check-in forms you need to fill out prior to your arrival, or if you neglected to do so, I'm sure they would have asked you to fill them out before your appointment. I arrived about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and spent the next 10 minutes exploring the adjacent businesses. When I came in, Aaliyah at the front desk greeted me by name. What?! I suppose it's because there aren't too many male customers of European Wax Center, but that was kind of cool, yet also a little creepy lol. It took 5 to 10 minutes before Brianne called me back into one of the rooms. I personally would have preferred to do the eyebrow wax first since that seemed to be easier, but she said we were going to do the Brazilian Wax first instead. I had the Brazilian Wax done a couple of times before, so I kind of knew what to expect, but man, it still hurt, even though I was expecting it to hurt a little more. Brianne wasn't bad, but I didn't really get good vibes from her since her demeanor was quite sassy during my appointment. She also didn't really give me any warning as to when she would pull the wax off my skin, and when she was doing my eyebrow wax, I legit thought she was going to poke one of my eyes despite her telling me to relax my eyes. But nevertheless, she did a good job of waxing. Before she took me back to the lobby, she reminded me that I shouldn't exfoliate for a couple of days after my wax, and she also asked if I'd like to purchase any products prior to leaving, to which I declined. When I came back to the front to pay for my services, I was about to put my card into the reader, but Aaliyah said they had my card on file, so I didn't even need to take my card out of my wallet. Interesting, but I also hope they don't charge me for something I didn't approve beforehand. Actually, they did schedule an appointment for exactly four weeks later at the exact same time at the exact same location. Now that, I would not approve since this was my rare Wednesday afternoon off, and with how my schedule has been this year, I doubt I would have been able to make it, in time at least. So I simply told Aaliyah to cancel since I myself wouldn't even know when would be the next available time, though truthfully, I was never planning to go for the remainder of the year unless I get another discount lol. Let's face it, waxing is pretty pricey, but a good experience to try if you haven't! I left, but then returned shortly when I noticed I didn't get an email receipt that confirmed my payment. I asked Aaliyah, and she was gracious enough to send not one, but two copies of my email receipt; they just came in rather late. The day after my appointment, I received an email from EWC giving some tips on what to do and what not to do after the appointment. Besides the unauthorized future appointment, which I did confirm online was no longer booked, the receptionists at the front desk deserve 5 stars. But neither Millie nor Brianne impressed me enough to want to do a Brazilian Wax here again, unless they hire a different wax specialist by next year. I think 4 stars is fair, but I would likely choose a different location next time.

What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

A good friend of mine, after utilizing her Inspector Gadget research skills to locate the perfect new texture, color, and style of hair to re-do her braids, found this specific supply store in her neighborhood. Loving the location and the fact they had the hair she needed was a delight and excitement as she was preparing for a lovely Valentine's/Presidents Day weekend! She just knew everything was falling into alignment. She entered the store, easily found everything she she needed, and due to her research, knew exactly how much her items would cost; taxes and everything included. The clerk rang her up and as my dear friend was just about to go on about her lovely Friday evening, she stopped and look at her receipt in hopes to celebrate how spot on her math would be. But unfortunately, she was stopped in her tracks as she noticed an exuberant additional amount charged over her own calculations. $60 worth of odd charges. She had a "things that make you go hmmm..." moment. My dear friend inquired about the additional charges and was met with what seemed to be "I'mma make some bs up so this lady will get out of my face" energy. My dear friend did not like this and asked for the manager and the clerk responded the manager was busy. Friend asked for the manager's name and the clerk gave it and it was the name of the clerk. Friend asked "Is that you??" The clerk responded "Yes." Friends' mind was blown and her annoyance grew. Friend asked for an explanation of the charges and like most businesses that attempt to take advantage of customers, when it got down to the core of it, the manager couldn't explain the charges and offered a refund to her debit card which would take 7-10 business days. My friend wasn't buying it, demanded an immediate cash refund of the over charges and wasn't leaving until she received it. I don't blame her at all. If you knew my dear friend, you would agree she is a lovely person and definitely not the person to play, scam, lie, cheat, or steal from. It would not be wise. Eventually the "clerk/manager/I accidentally over charged you $60 for some hair" came to her senses and refunded Friend in cash and all was calm. In a time when everyones money has an assignment and very few of us can enjoy luxury let alone have spare time and change to beautify ourselves, the last thing we need in a place as sacred as the beauty supply store, is the mindset and ill-political strategies of "wanna-be" oligarchs. This really ain't the time to be messing with anyone, especially women when it's time to get our hair done. This business needs to do better and realize many of us ain't too busy or distracted to read our receipts. This is a warning to them to stop pressing your luck.
