My MiL, myself, and my kindergartner (A) had an appointment. They took my MiL right away but A and I had a little bit of a wait because the salon was very busy. I wouldn't have minded waiting if it was just me, but unfortunately A was getting pretty antsy and it made the beginning a little stressful for me. Other than the minor wait, everything was great! MiL and I had the basic pedicures, and A had the kids version of that. A had a blast and she loved to sit in the kids chair with the bubbling water. Very means and rude employee. Overall they did an okay job on my nails (mani + pedi) but one employee was beyond rude. I went ahead and paid for my nails and tipped but got the lady asked me why I didn't tip more. Excite me? I tipped an okay amount. I wouldn't say it was amazing, I wouldn't say it was terrible, it was 15% and it wasn't enough to her. Although this place is nice, I will not be returning because I have Never gotten the question of why I wasn't tipping more. read more

Waited a long time to post this review because I was far too angry and really embarrassed. This seemingly older of the ladies, short, with hair up in a clip did my acrylics. I told her I'd only gotten acrylics a handful of times before. She asked me if I wanted anything special, I said no, just regular acrylics with white tip. She put the acrylic nails on, glued and trimmed a bit. Then she applied the nail stuff with the brush. Fast forward but she ultimately trimmed my nails, with the acrylic hardened stuff with a NAIL CLIPPER?!? Not normal. Wild. And I don't know why but I couldn't say anything about it. I was afraid to offend her and afraid to be in a confrontation. I'll never go back. I don't think she knew what she was doing, maybe she was distracted? I'm not sure why she trimmed them like that. I didn't ask for them to be shorter, I didn't complain. Maybe a few were uneven but I thought she'd file down, and shape. read more

I was greeted and asked what I needed to get done and sat down to wait. So I'm torn about this place because it really depends on who you get. I've gone here 3 times and each time I've left disappointed. So let's start with the pros: There is one girl there that is amazing! I don't remember her name, but she is super attentive. I don't remember if she worked on me the first time I was there, but she did the last two times. She's done my pedicures. No complaints. She does nice flower decorations. The place is also very clean, quiet and organized. The spa chairs work great. They have a good color selection. Cons: The girls who have done my manicures don't seem to listen and don't pay attention to details. I've had three separate girls work on me each time I've gone. The first time I went, the girl did a great job and did great on the flower decoration, but didn't give me the flower that I wanted. The second time I went, she was very careful with my left hand and the gave me the decoration I wanted, but sloppy on the right hand and made it look tacky. So the last time I went, I asked for a basic mani with a buff. Simple enough right??? My left pinky was shaped crooked and there were remnants of gel still left on it. Only one finger out of ten had gel from my last mani, you would think she would have removed it. Especially since it was a small piece. I'm very disappointed now. Especially since I thought I finally found a mani/pedi place near where I live. I also have a wedding to go to and am looking for a place that can do an hombre gel mani. read more

I was there last Sunday and got the mani/pedi combo, the woman doing the pedicure was sweet but sweet doesnt equal good, when she was cutting my cuticles she also cut a chunk of my skin, it really hurt! Then as she was helping me put on the disposable flip flops she smudged the nail polish off both big toes, instead of removing the nail polish and repainting, she just added a coat of nail polish, of course this made my nail polish bumpy, SLOPPY! I have been to many nail salons and I am always disappointed when I leave. I found this place through word of mouth that a manicurist I liked moved from Expo nails to here. Her name is Elizabeth and she is awesome. She is very nice and talks to you like a old friend. She only does mani and pedi's. You will recognize her because she is white. But that doesn't matter because everyone there is great. I always pay extra for the extra special treatments like sea salt rub and calius remover. They have a ton of extra add on packages like massage, parafan, nail art, ect. You get what you pay for here. It can add up but its worth it. The best thing is they are not pushy at all. Had been here a few times brought by one of my friends. I am one to try different nail places and this one is right near my house! This past set that I got was very precisely done and I felt very taken care of! My technician LeeLee (or LiLi...not sure how to spell it) did an EXCELLENT job on my nails! I went in to actually get my 1 week old acrylics off because the place I went to before did them WAY too thick. She removed them safely, even though it took an hour, but what do you expect!
