This repair work began on 6/27/2025. Bottom LIne- I just want my Sub Zero Refrigerator fixed. John, a repairman came out -agreed to rebuild the compressor. $500. was paid initially and a receipt was emailed. Another $1100. was needed to order parts and start the work. The additional $1100.00 was paid -John said that I would receive a receipt by text. (No receipt) Express Appliance hangs up when I call and John the repair man does not answer or respond to Text messages. Refund my money or fix my Fridge. I am not SATISFIED. Heather, the customer service rep, is impatient, rude, and completely unpleasant. Jen and Nicole are great, but Heather is not. Ask to speak with literally anyone besides Heather. You can just feel her discontent and lack of grace and contempt for the customer through the phone. Heather needs to find employment elsewhere or just go somewhere she can express her loathing and figure things out. This has been felt every single time I've spoken with her. I've had an ongoing issue with dishwasher and they mirror my frustration back to me instead of wanting to be helpful. They clearly have not had much experience interfacing with people professionally and it is abundantly clear that they don't take that aspect of the business earnestly. read more

TLDR: I'm going on 14 days of a broken refrigerator due to the imcompetence of Express Appliance Service. If you can avoid them , I strongly suggest you do so. Here's my detailed UNSOLVED 14-DAY ISSUE BY EXPRESS APPLIANCE: My fridge went out (freezer works fine) and so we called my extended warranty company who apparently uses Express Appliance Service for their repairs. Here's a timeline of what's happened thus far: Tues 9/9: My fridge stops cooling Weds 9/10: We call warranty company, Express Appliance can't come out til Friday. We chose the afternoon 12-5pm time slot. Thurs 9/11: I get a text saying my scheduled tech is coming 8a-12n the next day. I call to clarify because this is NOT the time slot I chose. They tell me it's all they've got available. Whatever, I make it work because being without a fridge for several days is not easy. Fri 9/12: Technician Armond comes out 11am and literally does nothing. He opens the freezer and says, "well it's making ice so that works" and then shoots his thermometor gun in the fridge and says "yeah the cooling isn't working in here" so he says he's going to order a new fan to circulate the cold air up into the fridge, which should arrive on Mon or Tues of next week (9/15 or 9/16). Mon 9/15: no fan is delivered Tues 9/16: no fan is delivered Weds 9/17: no fan is delivered. I call Express Appliance and the woman on the phone says she will look into this for me and get back to me. 30 minutes later, I get a text saying my ordered part should arrive tomorrow 9/18 at which point I need to call Express again to schedule a tech to install it. Thurs 9/18: The part arrives in *an Amazon Prime* package which tells me the part was never ordered last week.... they had an "oh s**t" moment and ordered it when I called back. Fri 9/19: Tech Aaron comes out and looks at the existing fan and says, "a fan isn't what you need. Your fan works just fine." So he takes the newly delivered fan with him and tells me to put a bottle of water in the freezer to see if it freezes and put a can of soda in the fridge to see if it gets cold over the next 12 hours. He also says he will keep the claim open because he realizes that the fridge isn't fixed... BACK TO SQUARE ONE. Mon 9/22: I call Express yet again to explain that my situation HAS NOT changed since 9/9 and Nicole keeps cutting me off trying to tell me that I need to open a new claim (Despite Aaron saying the claim would remain open). She would not let me explain my situation. Extremely rude and unwilling to listen. So I finish with her, call my warranty company again and open yet another claim and of course, complain about Express Appliance because this is insane. read more

This company was assigned to me by my extended warranty company. I needed my freezer repaired, they scheduled a date five days later than the warranty company provided. On the day of scheduled appointment, the I got a text a half hour before scheduled window of appointment time saying appointment require follow up. I called Express Appliance, finally got through, representative Heather was rude and dismissive. She stated tech was at complex however didn't have my apartment number. Of course it's listed on claim form and was verified when submitted. Then she stated she could reschedule for next week. I wouldn't recommend these people to a pet fly. They surely could use heart training, a little kindness goes a long way. read more

On March 25th Mike came out to my house because we had just bought a house in Parma and we smelled gas from the oven the day we moved in..my husband had just turned the gas off untill we could have someone take a look at it.. Mike from your company came in a beat up, crashed up Chevy blazer.. I was expecting a company truck with someone in a company uniform but nope.. he hops out of the truck from the passenger side, a female driving.. and goes in the back to retrieve his backpack and a little brown cardboard box.. which ends up being a igniter switch.. he came in and fumbled under the stove for about 10 mins, humming the whole time, which was extremely annoying.. (not a nice hum).. and then he announces that I need a new igniter.. and it's gonna be $413.. I called my husband to get his input and he said no way, we can pretty much buy a new stove for that.. so I was like shouldn't just write him a check for the $120 and send him on his way and mike then says, "you are in $180 deep now"! I said you guys quoted me $120 to diagnose,, he then says, I've already done work,I tightened that hose line.. so now it's $180. But he didn't even tell me that he was doing that or that it was gonna jump up $60 from the $120 quote.. so, I'm like okay Im gonna write you a check for the $180 and we will have someone else look at it.. he then says I can put the ignition in for )$292.57 for everything..which is still a crazy price but I guess a little more reasonable than $413.00 to change an ignitor.. well, it's not, because my stove will not heat up.. I had prepared to cook dinner in it and it's been on 400 for 30 mins now and I can still touch with my hand and my food will not cook.. I've tried calling and nobody has answered or called me back! Oh and that little box that he brought in with the igniter in it.. apparently was the wrong one so he ran back out to the car and got a different one but it did not look new.. read more

I scheduled an appointment to have our dishwasher repaired (not draining, wasn't filling) and was quoted $120 over the phone. I was told this covered the inspection, service fee, and would be applied toward the repair cost. She said if it was "unfixable" we would be told but "95% of the time, we can fix it". We gave them the serial number and model of the dishwasher. The "repair man" arrived on time (only reason for 2 stars) and told my husband he "had to look at the serial number" which we had already given him. He stated that he wasn't sure he could fix it. Upon seeing the serial number (which we had given over the phone) , without any further action, he said it was "unfixable". We gave the serial number over the phone before anyone showed up. We could (and should) have been told over the phone that they couldn't fix it. On top of this, he charged my husband $130 instead of the $120 I was told. I guess he figured he deserved a tip? Hard to get a hold of, didn't return voice mails, messages. Was supposed to have a virtual live appointment, so I made one but no further instructions and they did not call me or even call me back, at all on the day of the scheduled appointment (Which was on a Friday before a holiday weekend.) I took off work for the appointment, but all for nothing and still with the broken appliance. Very disappointing. read more

Express Appliance was able to service my Samsung refrigerator when even Samsung wouldn't/couldn't. I will never buy another Samsung appliance, but Brandon, our service tech from Express was excellent! He as able to confirm what was wrong and confirm with his supervisor that they could get the part needed to fix the assembly that wasn't working properly. It's been about a month now and the fridge is still running fine! read more

Outstanding business!! Lexi, who set my repair appointment for the following morning, was delightful. Brandon, my repair technician, was so helpful and had my dryer fixed in a very short time. Very kind yet professional. I'd give 10 stars if possible. From my 1st contact with the company through completion, the whole process was perfect!
