When…read moreI arrived I realized they didn't have a shop per se, just a dirt driveway covered in broken windshield glass. They had a few folding chairs to sit on in the sun. The air reeked of marijuana as well. Seems there is a marijuana grow and/or processing place close by. Not their fault but I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Can't stand the smell of marijuana. When I got home a warning light in dashboard on. They didn't connect the wire harness on the collision avoidance sensor that is mounted to the windshield. Went back, they connected it All is good...or so I thought. The next day or so, my wife said the whole sensor with its mounting bracket came off the windshield. Looked at it and she was correct the whole thing had come down and was resting in the rear view mirror. Called them and they told me to go back and they would fix it. Went back, they supposedly took care of it. A couple day later it comes down again. Shlepped over there once again so they could look at it. This is when they told me they had installed the wrong windshield! They had also been trying to secure the sensor to the windshield with the black silicone type sealant that it used to seal the windshield onto the vehicle! It was never going to hold. On top of it, they damaged the cover for the sensor, broke off a couple of tabs that secure it to the sensor bracket. They tried to glue it on using the same black sealant! So back I go for the fourth or fifth time with the promise they would take care of the issues. The correct windshield had the mounting bracket already attached with factory strength adhesive that would not detach. They installed the new windshield, but used the same damaged cover and once again used that black sealant to try and secure it to the mounting bracket. The cover has since come off again. I wasn't going to waste my time going back again to this dreadful place. I ordered a new cover and will install it myself. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

They called on 6/27 to cancel because the windshield supposedly came in damaged. I get that things happen sometimes, said they'd call me back in a day to reschedule. Two days go by and no one called, so I called them back. Again I was told they'd look into it and call me back. Guess what? No one did. Spoke with Chris again on 7/7 and he told me he was escalating to his District Manager and that he would call me. Never heard from him either. Starting to see a pattern here? I had to call every time to get information. Called again this morning (7/9/26) and they don't know what's going on because the parts department isn't answering. I asked for the District Managers email address and they told me they're not allowed to give out the DM's company email. What? I'm a Regional Manager for a national company and I can't imagine telling the people that work for me they're forbidden from giving CUSTOMERS my WORK email. DM's and RM's need to hear from customers to get a more accurate picture of what's going on from a customer service perspective in their district/region for any training opportunities. Amber called me back this morning to let me know that yet another windshield came in damaged, but if I wanted to go with a different glass manufacturer it would cost more money, and it was already over $1000.00. I appreciated her call but that was the last straw, so I scheduled with American Auto Glass and will be fixed within 24 hours with an OEE windshield from a premium glass (Pilkington) manufacturer and the price includes recalibrations of all sensors and a lifetime warranty on the glass and was less expensive.
