I had the most amazing positive experience in dealing with the guys at Auto Glass Center for my need to replace my car's front windshield! They rightly deserve both my rating of 5 stars and the one that is for their business overall. I have a 2024 Honda HR-V and I've had a crack in the windshield that "mysteriously" appeared one day, because the chip happened where the black film lays surrounding the camera mounted onto the windshield, . . . .and then the crack extended over the San Diego winter months. I tried the windshield fixes on Amazon, but the crack continued to expand. Literally I sent a message through Yelp and within 2 minutes I had a chat and confirmation of pricing. $449 for a complete front windshield replacement including the calibration. Honda wanted almost $1100 for the repayment and they didn't have it in stock. And they said they would order it from a 3rd party supplier, . . . . .so WHY would anyone go to Honda? I brought the car in on last week on Saturday @ 8:00 AM and within 4 hours it was done!! What I especially appreciated - they took the time to remove my decals for both FastTrak and Soapy Joe's - who does that? I was thinking I would need to now deal with new decals!! I contacted this company through Yelp's "projects" as needing a windshield replacement for a windshield that has a sensor. When all other companies were pushing to move forward with insurance and just pay the deductible, this place offered a very fair quote and great customer service. Was easy to schedule an appointment, drop the car off and got a call earlier than expected to pickup. They give very DETAILED instructions and offer a warranty. Definitely top notch service, there is a reason for so many 5-star reviews. A few months later, before heading out onto he road, we decided to see if they could polish or get some scratches out of another vehicles windshield, I again contacted them and was told to bring it on in. Unfortunately the scratches were too many and too deep, and a complete windshield replacement was needed, which was half expected as the scratches were all over and bad. Super easy windshield chip repair here at auto glass center. I thought I was going to use Safelite and have them come to my home. But I saw that they have some bad reviews on yelp and that this place had straight five stars, as did one other company. I put in a Yelp request for bids and it sent to five companies. The lowest price I was quoted was 35 and the highest was 70. This place was 40, but they answered very fast and the process for the repair seemed to the easiest. No appointment necessary, in and out in 20 minutes. Even better: they are right across the street from a place I've been longing to try, San Idli Vegetarian (love me some dosas). I left the car with Ivan, walked across the street to San Idli, had a delicious lunch, came back... And my car was all done. The chip does not completely disappear, but it looks as if it's almost gone. And it should not spread anymore. They give a 30 day warranty. Thanks to everyone who went here before and left reviews.
