The breads are freshly baked and warm and the papusas are delicious and soft. Definitely recommend!

Favorite spot love coming here but unfortunately the tamales were very undercooked this morning very disappointed

We are new to the area and still looking for a good bakery. We stumbled across this place on our way home from mass at St. Junipero Serra. We saw the good reviews and decided to head inside. As someone mentioned, hole in the wall haha, but a good one! No one was there right away but it was Sunday and I believe they do a service in the area behind this place, not 100%. But, point is, the lady came out to service us. We got 3 bread items, a bottled coke and headed out. This is a Salvadorian bakery, and the bread was good. I would stop again if I'm craving pan dulce! I might try the pupusas as others are raving about them. read more

This place is amazing! The food, the service and attention and the pan dulce! It seriously reminds me of my mother in laws house. This is the definition of whole in the wall perfection, it may not look like it but some of the best pupusas around! I've had some really good pupusas in the IE area (Pomona to be specific) but I would say EB has the best ones up here in the HD. Plus u can get some good pan dulces as well. They were really nice and even let us stay after they had already closed to eat inside, that was super nice of them and were very attentive to us! I would highly recommend them. read more

Good little spot. We were just passing by. Very friendly lady at the counter that also seems to be the cook. We ordered the Pupusas revueltas. Masa tasted fresh. The mix inside was chicharrón, cheese and beans. Although it tasted good the ratio of each ingredient wasn't proportioned right. Had more beans then chicharrón or cheese. Because of this I would probably opt out ordering the revuelta. The sauce for the pupusas had the right tomatoey taste and the picado/cabbage mixture had a nice spicy kick with extra crunch added with cucumbers. We also had some of the sweet bread (guava filling) and that was very good, moist/flaky, not too sweet. I personally would've liked a bit more filling but it did have sufficient to give it a good taste. read more

Best kept secret!!! Their popusas are the best for miles around and the sweetbreads are fresh and soft!!

The place is pretty good. The bakery breads really good. I haven't tried their sandwich bread but it looks really popular. Everybody keeps buying it. They're pupusa's are good decent size. Their prices are a little bit high, but well worth it you have to come early to get tamales and the other food that they have. If you don't come early enough all you're going to get his Mexican bread and pupusa's. They need to make their time on their website and on their door updated. I went at 2 o'clock and they're supposed to be close at four and they were close at two. It's not good for business. read more

I have had pupusas throughout Los Angeles county these were the best I've had and will be eating them again. They are bigger, tastier and well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of my meal. The bakery has a clean eating area with a TV which was nice. It's located in a stripe mall so there is plenty of parking. We did buy some of their sweet bread it's not as sweet as Mexican sweet bread but it was good, I just needed a cup of coffee. It's a family owned and operated business the mother came out to greet us and answer all my questions about the different bread in their display cases. read more

First time at this location Pros: Ample parking since it's in a plaza Credit cards welcomed Kid friendly Clean Friendly staff Easy to order. You can dine in or take out. Pupusas' taste was ok but the sauce made it. considering proximity to my house it'll do. The plantains were good. In general the food was decent. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PRIORITY! BUT HERE IS NOT GIVEN. I most definitely was definitely always in here. I am most definitely big on if your customer service is good, that's what really matters to me. Food was great !! The owner, which is the lady who does the cooking and who takes the orders at times POOR POOR SERVICE. I will not be going back EVER !!!!! The papusas are amazing! The service is very friendly. Very casual, nothing fancy just good food. This place has a super authentic vibe going on.
