Amazing service. Huge papusas, great price. Chill place to get a heartwarming meal. I will be coming back

These were the best pupusas I've had in a while! As many have said, you can't go wrong with the revueltas. Comes with the works - the frijoles were our fav. I also had the jalapeno con queso, which was absolutely delectable. Not too oily - just perfection. Service was speedy and friendly; we appreciated the hand sanitizers at every table. Rest assured my friend and I will be regulars going forward. Thanks, El Sabor!

I live in walking distance and that is dangerous because this place is delicious! Service is great, everyone is sweet and you can tell they love what they do. Small quaint seating area but it's inviting. Can't wait to walk back!

This is definitely a hole in the wall with some great pupusas! They've got a good variety of food options! Their sign is a banner and may be easy to miss. I do feel like the parking lot is a bit shady, just an fyi. But service was very friendly, most of the staff spoke to me in Spanish at first but quickly went to English once they realized I didn't speak Spanish. The restaurant is pretty small so there isn't as much seating. My brother wanted asada tacos but unfortunately they were out of asada when we went on a Monday afternoon but they were very apologetic and kind about it! ** Also, they only take cash or zelle!** I ordered 2 revuelta pupusas and they were amazing! First of all the pupusas were pretty large, definitely the largest I've ever had. It did take a bit for them to come out but that's just because they're freshly made to order and they were steaming hot. They were served with a salsa and some pickled cabbage. Everything went together so well! 5/5 Overall, I think this is a great place to grab some authentic pupusas and if you want amazing food and are on a budget! This place is the real deal. Can't wait to come back for the revueltas!

Came here for the first time today and it did not disappoint. The 2 pupusas I had were delicious! Made fresh to order, so it took about 10-15 min, but worth the wait. Service was good enough, not outstanding, the person taking orders spoke Spanish and we ordered our food in Spanish. Their bathroom says it's out of order, but I think it's just to keep any homeless people away or unwanted patrons out of it, we were able to use the restroom. Inside is small, there are six tables with 4 chairs and one table with 2 chairs. Would definitely come back here again, although I'd probably just take it to go.

El Sabor de El Salvador was recommended. I've been going to another spot in Anaheim so it was nice to get a new rec for pupusas and so glad my son and I adventured to El Sabor. We ordered the chicharon queso and queso pupusas - no regrets here, amazingly delicious. Paired with their cabbage salad and tomato sauce it was amazingly delicious! Empanadas were sweet but hit the spot. The restaurant is small with a few tables and seats. Loved that there was a consistent flow of foot traffic. Customer service was great, attentive and super catering! I would definitely recommend!

Kind of a hidden place, and I was excited to try something new. We tried the revueltas, loroco y queso, and pupusa loco pupusas, as well as the birria tacos. The pupusas were larger than I thought, and were fulfilling. Both the tacos and pupusas were cooked fresh and very hot. Definitely would go again!

They have a local feel when you walk inside. There is a little bit of a wait, and I think they make the food to order, so it's hot and fresh when you receive it. I recommend that if you plan to take out, call ahead to place your order to save time. They are known for their pupusas, which I got on my first visit. I was curious after reading some of the positive reviews. I ordered the revuelta and chicken with cheese. Both had great flavors and would consider getting them again. The flavorful, crispy empanadas were among my favorites. I got the carne (beef) and spinach with cheese empanadas and loved them. The perfectly fried shell and flavorful filling. Their Salvadoran tamales are prepared in the traditional style, with a flavorful filling and soft, moist masa, wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks. I love Mexican-style tamales (especially homemade), so this was a new experience trying Salvadoran-style tamales. I think most people will order takeout, but there's a moderately sized dining area with tables. It has a local feel and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and provided great service. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. I still can't believe I waited this long to visit Nancy's. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Note: There is a little charge for using credit cards, so cash would be better if you want to avoid the CC charge.

I never had a real authentic pupusas before so this was my first time trying it. Today, I went here with my boyfriend and we both order queso con frijoles (cheese & beans) & pupusas de chicharron con queso (pork rinds & cheese). I love their salsa really good kick and spicy. Queso con frijoles: The pupusas were perfectly golden and filled to the brim with melted cheese and savory refried beans. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The masa was soft and slightly crispy on the outside, while the filling was rich and comforting. Paired with the tangy curtido (pickled cabbage) and a drizzle of salsa roja, they were an explosion of taste that I couldn't get enough of! I would give it a 5/5 best pupusas I have for this one. pupusas de chicharron con queso: pupusas has a lovely golden color. I was a bit surprised to find that they were served with some pork rinds, which I wasn't prepared for. I'm so used to seeing pork rinds in chips not in food. I'm not really used to that ingredient, so it added a layer of flavor that just wasn't to my personal taste. I would give it a 3/5 since I'm not used to pork rinds in pupusas if you like pork rinds cooked in pupusas then this dish is for you! We got it in takeout & took 5 minutes to wait. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. There is plenty of parking. The store is very spacious, clean, and great atmosphere for a Salvadoran restaurant. I would definitely come back here to get some delicious pupusas!
