A potential customer requested us bring a vehicle they were looking at purchasing to AGCO for inspection. Keep in mind our dealership has its own technicians and maintenance facility. After several hours, their conclusion was a laundry list of "codes" that were not displayed either before or during our ownership of it. one of our managers drove it for a week while his personal vehicle was being serviced, and he reported no issue. in fact, according to CARFAX, the vehicle has been under warranty the entire time it has been privately owned. their diagnosis makes little or no sense. Whereas we, as automotive professionals, agree with and encourage our customers to take advantage of their right as consumers to have a service center of their choice inspect a vehicle before purchase, we do caution them as to their choice. We normally suggest someone they know, or have had a prior relationship with, as too many private facilities will "try to "scare sell" or suggest unnecessary repairs or maintenance, in hopes the customer will opt to pay for the repairs at their facility. Their line usually is "It's already here, so..." We are certain this has happened in this case. Usually, if a problem or issue is uncovered during inspection, it is professional courtesy to inform the selling dealer of the problem, and ask if they would like it addressed while the vehicle is there. 10 times out of 10 they will say yes, in hopes of preserving the potential deal. AGCO apparently is unaware of professional courtesy, or anything resembling even common courtesy. They treated our Fleet Manager rudely when he asked them to share the results of the inspection, or even what the customer shared. I would not recommend. Matter of fact, I would encourage a potential customer to look elsewhere, should they mention AGCO. And for everybody's info - the review by BUSH C, is an AGCO employee.

Morris runs an honest and reputable business…read more My daughter is a student at LSU and I was in a difficult position when her car broke down since I am 300 miles away in Houston. From what she described over the phone it sounded as if the transmission had gone out on her '04 Civic. Not having any experience with repair shops in Baton Rouge, I searched the internet. Morris' shop came up with a couple of good reviews plus some extra information on a Community page. I figured if he has been in business for 25+ years he must know what he is doing. I gave Morris a call and he arranged for towing . After he had a chance to check out the car, he told me the CV axle was damaged and the transmission was probably fine. This turned out to be the case (whew!). Morris got it fixed up and back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. My daughter hasn't reported any further issues with the car. It was an uncomfortable situation dealing with car repairs by long distance without having a chance to see things for myself. I really appreciate the fact that Morris gave an honest assessment of the problem and didn't try to crowd a bunch of extra services into the picture. I think he handled the repairs in a very professional manner and charged a fair and reasonable price for his work. I am a satisfied customer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my daughter doesn't have any more car troubles, but if she does, I'll be giving Morris a call. --- Lee Meister, Houston

I thought it was a fuel issue initially but I wasn't certain due to another automotive company which I used, not mentioning any other problems on the final inspection after getting the catalytic converter replaced. I contacted Ronnie at Tri Care and explained the issue. He gave me a quote on a diagnostics test. I told him I'd be by at a later date. The truck ran smoothly for a month without any issues and completely shut off on me in traffic. I got it towed to the location on Cloverland but they were backed up for a week and Ronnie's location on Airline Hwy could take care of it in a couple of days. After the diagnostics test, Ronnie contacted me and told me I had a bad crank shaft sensor due to being the original piece on it from 2004. I told him I wanted additional work and he gave me the price for everything and it was under $1000 for a diagnostics test, crank shaft replacemen, new batter and an oil change. On the diagnostic report, it has a list of issues that are recommended to get fixed. my truck has opera smoothly without any problem since taking it ti Tri-Care. I highly recommend using their service.
