They changed a transmission without approval from warranty and now warranty won't cover it because it was not inspected prior to change. Spoke to PJ and stated he has been doing this for 15+ years. I asked in his experience how many times did an inspection not needed to be done. He was speechless and could not answer. He knows procedures but failed to follow them. Now he wants over 11K for a transmission. Do not bring your vehicle here! They overcharge and will try to get over on you. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. They do not live up to their values or ethics!

We have AAA they don't provide this service in Baton Rouge (to bring a new car battery and replace it on site) I called Alvin he was very professional and provided this in timely matter I would use Mobile Car Care 225 again. He went to the Auto Store, picked up the battery and was in contact with me and my daughter and meet her at the apartment complex, drove up the the 7th floor of the parking garage and changed out the battery within the hour. He was in contact with me throughout the process and was very nice and professional with my daughter. I would give this whole process and solid 10 and I'm not renewing AAA and calling Mobile Car Care if we have car issues again. He was only going to charge the diagnostic fee (an already low $75.00) for fixing all, but I gave him a substantial tip, for which he was very grateful. I will say he was 45 min. late, but he texted twice to keep us posted. I did find that I had a hard time following some of his explanations, but that's mostly because I don't speak car! I would recommend him and will call again if we need a mobile mechanic. He is very amiable (and quite the talker:)).

We didn't have the finances at the time & said we'd have to come back once we had our money in order. The guy on the phone sounded annoyed by this but said okay. About a month later, her brakes completely gave out as she was getting off the interstate (luckily just coasting in traffic). Deciding that it'd be more affordable to change her brakes myself, I bought the parts & had a friend help. Apparently, Mavis had already began the brake job before they called us, & either on purpose or accidentally neglected to put one of the brake pads back on! Unfortunately, there's no way to prove this, as there's not even a receipt for brakes, just tire change. Due to this neglect, the whole caliber was damaged & cost us $1100 to repair. Needless to say, we will not return to any Mavis.

Tried Firestone a few minutes after 8am this morning (they open at 7), and they told me that my car would be there all day. I have a Fleet vehicle (work car), so that wasn't appealing to me. The person seemed slammed as the phone was ringing away with another customer in the lobby telling me that he hadn't seen anyone yet. Drove around the corner to Goodyear and was told no one was ahead of me, so they could do it in about 30 minutes (except the awaiting approval for the Fleet company takes minutes to hours). They consistently walk out to assess my car as soon as I show up vs Firestone that seemed to busy to do that. Again, I imagine they are both great. Firestone has better hours (as they open at 7 instead of 8 like Goodyear) and are open on Sundays, but I really love the efficiency and customer service at Goodyear.
