He was extremely helpful and gave me a new case for my phone. He told me the Samsung A models were built to be discontinued in the future and it would be best if I were to get an S23,24 or 25 when/if I decide to get a new phone. He said the A models only last 2 years which is correct. He told me I could bring my old phone in and transfer the data from it to my current phone or if I wanted to wait until I got a new phone, they could transfer the data to it too. Said it would take about 30 min and cost maybe $65.00.Love my new case.

He also looked at my phone camera and fixed it without charge (needed a soft reset). I went back two weeks later and Osiris helped me out again by looking at my phone. I tried to fix my phone myself by buying a screen off Amazon. For some reason the phone didn't turn on after I tried to fix it myself, but Osiris took a look at it and fixed it for me free of charge. He will diagnose your phone first free of charge and then let you know if it's fixable or not and will tell you the price up front; no hidden charges or extra fees later on. I will keep going back here in the future for any phone related issues.

Google suggested an overheating issue,…read morebut it was barely warm, so it looked like it wasn't just an acute case I'd be able to cure on my own, but a hardware compromise. Unfortunately it was way out of warranty, and it'd be $140+ for Microsoft to fix it (not to mention how long it would take to ship it and wait for them to repair it). Surprisingly there's few local options for game console repair, but I found Apex online. Its in a barely-noticeable industrial office strip but the owner was friendly and clearly knew what he was doing - he had shelves full of consoles he was repairing, and another guy showed up to have his Xbox fixed while I was there. After explaining my options (short-term fix vs. long-term fix), the owner fixed it the same day and covered it with a 90 day warranty, which made me pretty happy. One quick note - their website says they charge $50, but thats ONLY for the short-term fix, which he explained involves redoing the soldering that has cracked from the heat and caused this particular issue. In other words, if you want to get your 360 working again for cheap even if the problem reoccurs, that's your option. If you want "the works,' which includes having them install a better-quality cooling fan and replace some parts that aggravate the overheating issue caused by Microsoft's shoddy design, then it's $100. That's still cheaper than Microsoft or buying a whole new console. I will mention that the fan they put in is LOUD. It doesn't bother me yet since I use a headset when I play, but if you watch Netflix or DVDs on your Xbox you will definitely notice it all the time. The owner said if I want to switch back to the stock model fan, I can do so under the 90 day warranty he gives, but I haven't decided whether I will. All in all, if your Xbox 360 is on the fritz and out of warranty, Apex is your place.

The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking to see the repair done in front of you if you decide to come here.
