The job was good, then I was laid off, I called them back right away and they helped me find a job right away the very next day. The staff at Express is amazing, they check up on you to make sure you're doing well wherever they set you up. Fantastic experience with Esther from Express Employment. So, I applied for a job from Express Employment in Montebello. Esther called to say she was interested in me for the position so we set up an interview to meet in her office. I have already registered at the Covina Office weeks ago, but I was forgotten after my initial interview. Esther sent me forms to fill out from her office which made our interview go faster. Esther is warm and I knew she cared . She told me she'll work with me to find a job. I waited about 1.5 week. I guess that 1st job didn't work out. Because she knew my background, she matched me up with a job that just recently opened up. I Interviewed the next day after she met with her client. The following day, Friday, I accepted a job offer. I will start work tomorrow. Yay!!!! I'm so excited to get back to work. It has been a tough job hunting experience. It's the first agency I've worked with. I applied and got called by someone, I don't remember her name. I got there and I did a little test, typing, math, and computer stuff. The girl who called me was busy, so i was helped by Esther and a girl who was training. They asked me some questions, I answered, stuff like; how much are you expecting, what are you looking for, what days and hours are you available. I answered and Esther told me about an open position. I agreed, and started like in a week because of paperwork she had to do. After I finished that assignment, for about two months, I let her know and it was the end. About two weeks later, I was available again. It's been about two months and I still haven't gotten another assignment. I have tried though. I have emailed, called, and kept applying on their website. I recently saw one and I called them. They said that position wasn't open yet, and that they were just recruiting more people. So, one job, and that's it. I was really excited, very disappointing. read more

I would like to give this Express location 5 stars!!! I got started with an assignment recently and I honestly was kind of skeptical when they told me all I had to do was show up to the interview and it was highly likely I would be able to start work right away. I thought to myself I'm going to waste gas go to an interview and not get selected because I've dealt with that after applying at other agencies. I was wrong. Not only did I get placed I have an opportunity to work for the company after working so many hours if they are interested which will provide more stability for me and my kids you know having that guaranteed paycheck coming in every week is a bonus!! Anya has been very helpful throughout my short time working for them and she has went above and beyond. They don't just place you somewhere and you are on your own if you have issues or whatever they still communicate with you and make you feel like you are really apart of their team. Its been 3 days with no call so I called and spoke to a gentleman that said he was the owner. I told him I had no call back n he was very rude n unprofessional. I ended up hanging up on him. Horrible employment agency! They made us wait 2 hours just to review our resume and experience. I then only got 10 minutes with Amana. She promised a call back and I never heard back from her again! I called them twice so I did try to communicate with her. I would not recommend them. I was going to ask to speak with the owner but he wasn't in. What a waste of my time. read more

So at first I had a pleasant experience with them I received a call back to start an assignment within a week but then I had family issues so had to leave my assignment a week early and a Woman named Amana had the nerve to say "I'm sure money can fix the issue" I was shocked at her response , she was completely focused on just trying to get money instead of having her clients best interest in mind.
