I called at 2:30pm and made an appointment for 4:30pm, before I drove there I asked if they are able to do gelX with design, he assured me he could and it was not a problem. I got there around 4:18pm -ish and walked in and sat down. 4:46pm came around and another customer came in and said she had an appointment at 5. He told her to come back later... she left upset, which rightfully so he's just confirming appointments on the phone and they have to true meaning upheld to them.... So I should have taken that as a red flag.. so he calls me over and I sit down and he says ok 'what you want'.. I showed him a pic and he goes 'no we don't do that here'! I'm like what I called and asked before booking the appointment with you? He said 'no sorry have a good day'. I was so upset because the time I spent waiting for my appointment I could have reached out to other business and found a place that could do the style I'm looking for! Now it was too late to find a place in such short notice, and I worked all day so I didn't have an opportunity to go earlier! Oof. Nails are usually a self-care experience, but this was an experience I was eager to have over with. Immediately upon arrival, she sat me down without letting me pick a color. She wanted to work on my nails ASAP. This manicure was one of the worst ones I've ever had (for numerous reasons). To begin, she did not do any nail prep (no cuticle care, oil, etc). She removed the shellac polish and left dust on my nails before painting them. No hand washing or anything. The nail painting itself was mediocre, at best. Uneven layers. She filed off the nails at the end and shaped them horribly. At the end, she massaged with lotion and removed with a hot towel. And to top off the experience, she wasn't happy with her tip. Can't win at this place. ****TIP: DO NOT EXPECT A 20% OFF DISCOUNT (unless you pay with cash which isn't said unless you see the paper taped onto the screen inside!) also they don't like card tips. read more

The name of this place says it all. I live 5 minutes from Express Nail Salon. I wanted a manicure to clean up and even out my nails. I had tried to take off most of the polish before I got there. There was a little residue left on, nail tech seemed irritated, though with the drill thing, residue came right off. She cut my nails pretty short, and even cut the side of a nail where a little sliver remained and it hurt. There was the briefest of hand and arm massage. She went and got a warm wash cloth to wipe away the lotion. They must not offer drinks like other salons. There wasn't light pleasant conversations going on. I was in and out in 15 minutes for $25. read more

The worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life first of all the nail tech is super rude ! I kept telling her what I wanted and she kept asking me over and over what I wanted kept trying to change my mind. I came in for a fill and it did not look good she did not shake them as I asked which was skinny square I asked for milky nails and she did not even accomplish that I had to keep telling her. Then the very next day my nail popped lifted up the very next day came in to fix it and Helen was very very rude. She tried to file my natural nail bed down with the roughest nail drill bit got an attitude when I told her that's not supposed to be on my natural nail bed. I asked her and the guy who was working for the owner name and they said they're not going to tell me the owner name . Then she applied the acrylic on my nails super thick I asked can she thin it out she looked at me and proceeded to try to put the polish nails on completely ignoring me. I reinstated what I said she looked at the guy clearly talking smack in her language and walked away the worst service SAVE YOUR SELF A TRIP DO NOT COME HERE 05/22/25 UPDATE Now my middle finger is lifting like the index one. I called and a male answered when I asked him can I speak w/ the owner he said he don't know when they'll be in. I asked for a refund to have someone else fixed my nails and he basically said there's another woman that come in on Monday but he doesn't know if she'll do it. This is regarding wax services. This is a WARNING for future goers. STAY AWAY. I've been maintaining my own brows for a few months, I scheduled a wax service just to clean up baby hairs. Went in for a brow wax and there was an older lady who did them. This is the worst brow service I've ever had. Both eyebrows are completely opposite, one is thin with an high arch and another is thicker but completely straight. She even messed up the spacing. All she needed to do was clean baby hairs and somehow managed to completely botch them. To put a cherry on top, she covered one of my sideburns in wax and didn't do anything about it to where I had to remove it in the shower. Completely tried to skip in between my brows, when I asked her to wax the middle she went in and made the thin eyebrow EVEN THINNER. But skipped cleaning up the baby hairs that I went in for. DO NOT GO HERE FOR BROW SERVICES. Completely devastated. Turns out my sisters also went the other day and now all three of us are growing out our eyebrows. Shes consistently bad, would not recommend even for a basic clean up. read more

I'm from California. So bringing in a nail kit isn't something you bring. The salon is required to provide all sanitary products for use of drying your nails. So bringing in your own nail kit (file, buffer, toe seperator) was new to me. If you don't have a nail kit they only charge $1 for it. Customer service: the staff is extremely friendly. They offer you refreshments (tea, water, wine) the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Pedi: I got a French tip pedi. They did a great job. I didn't get his name, but I believe we he's the only Male worker there. He made sure to ask if how i liked the width of the white tip. Full set: he did such a great job on my full set. I got the french ombre . He was very meticulous. He checked to make sure that the tips were the right size for my nails and if it didn't fit correctly he would change it. I didn't have to say a word! That's how you know you got a great nail tech. He shaped my nails perfectly and did not cut me at all. He was gentle but efficient. I would recommend anyone to give them a shot ! It helps if you have pictures of what you want done. As in nail shape and design. You'll walk out as a satisfied customer! read more

Heard really good things about this salon and I was on a time crunch so I came here. It may just be the lady I got but this was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and asked if they would be able to do it. They said yes, so I let them continue. I was so excited for this as these were for a special occasion. It took them so incredibly long and her application was so messy. I kept asking her "Are you sure you're doing this right?", "Is it going to look the same?" and she kept telling me yes. My nails were lumpy and super thick and there was so much acrylic under my nails as well. The color was off, the glitter was off, not to mention they didn't even have loose glitter. They just used a glitter polished when I specifically asked for loose glitter. They told me this was all they could do. The manager was even there as well and saw what was happening but stayed quiet. I was so upset. I also got a pedicure and during that I just sat in silence. I was just in disbelief. The pedicure was mediocre, she painted them pretty lazily as there was paint on my actual toes too, not just my nails. Didn't do any clean up of it either. Never coming back here again. I have never been able to grow out my own natural nails but he has given me a lot of tips and recommend to try the organic dip powder and FINALLY I dont need to get the fake tip I grew out my own nails! I've never had a manicure this bad. I had a lady tech, she seemed nice but idk tho because we didn't talk. I also don't really care for convo so that wasn't the reason for the one star. Anyway she was on the phone most of the time while doing my nails and cut my nails shorter than i wanted but the worse part was they were not filed evenly! The paint job was also bad, really streaky and just overall unprofessional. Now i have ugly shaped looking nails with sharp edges that i have to fix myself.
