I love seeing my nails change when I wash my hands, and the endless gradients of color surprise me whenever I look at them. I've had 5 different techs, and they all did fantastic. Sometimes I wish they painted closer to my cuticle, but that can cause a rough edge and cause snagging as they grow out. All-n-all, I really enjoy this salon! I love this place. The customer service is amazing and they do a great job with nails. While I was there I saw a few people getting hair cuts and color and they all seemed very happy too. The gentleman who did my nails was very gentle and kind. He didn't just rush through with my set. He took time to make them look perfect and was very sweet throughout the process too. I was so so impressed with Azure Nails! I had gotten a shellac mani a week ago at another salon and it was peeling a break like crazy - a first time for me. I walked in around 3:30 PM and it was busy, but I asked if I could wait and they fit me in. Everyone was incredibly nice and it was so easy to communicate. I waited for about 20 minutes, but in the meantime they got my shellac soaking off and so it came right off when it was time for my manicure. I can't speak to their color selection because I wanted white so I didn't look at the selection. White is a tough color to paint, let alone in a gel, but the sweetest guy (didn't catch his name) took his time and really worked nail magic. I am seriously so so so happy with how my nails turned out! I'm going back regularly now bc the customer service was great (I never felt like they were doing me the favor) and so was the work. Been too busy to book at my regular spot, so went to closest place for 11 AM walk in. Had to be in and out within hour and half, so hoped it'd be done by 12:30 PM, which it did. There was only one staff and no other customers - even by noon. 2 male staff walked in, but didn't greet me at all. One did greet me before I left. Spacious and clean environment. Manicurist was shy but a nice girl. Probably would have met my needs if language barrier wasn't an issue. Started pedicure 11:15 AM, spent 20 minutes on shaping and sugar scrub. No price on the wall, so checked online - assuming it's $45 deluxe manicure/pedicure. The massage was weak, but sugar scrub was nice. However, while she was taking off shellac, she burned my nail few times - which hurt very badly. Usually acetone is used to remove the ones near the nails to prevent damage . I also specifically requested ingrown toe nail removal, which was accommodated in half dozen other locations I've gone - was not done here. So my big toe is still in pain. I get pedicure primarily for this reason, so it defeats the purpose. Wish there was someone else I could have talked to, but wasn't sure who was the receptionist and 2 other staffs were busy on their cell phone and front desk remained empty. If you want regular experience, and don't have ingrown toe issue, this place is all right to meet basic needs. If you want someone to converse or remove ingrown toe nail, it may not be the best place. It's too bad, as it's the closest location from my home - so I had my hopes up. Minus 1 star as it's average experience, minus 2 stars for no ingrown toe nail removal, and causing pain and nail damage. Not a place I'd deem a repeat, as I need to book another pedicure for ingrown removal now. read more

My sisters and I stopped in for shellac manicures and it was a wonderful experience! We stopped at right around 10am without an appointment and we were helped right away. I opted for an eggplant purple, which was the color I had in mind! The staff was professional and paid very close attention to their work. I also rather enjoyed how the staff didn't talk your ear off which helped me relaxed a bit. I especially enjoyed the lotion hand massage and warm towel at the end. I was visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised at how the manicure only cost $25, which is a fantastic deal! I rarely get my nails done but I highly recommend visiting Azure Nails! There was polish left on my fingers, my cuticles were not cleaned up at all, there was a glob of polish on my nail that wasn't smoothed out at all, and it took 2 HOURS for the solar nails and sloppy uneven paint job where they did a base coat, top coat and 4 layers of polish in addition ...... The shaping is a little janky and just wasn't what I asked for, after showing a picture of what I did want when I sat down. Then the tip fully broke off a day later. My gratefulness at getting an appointment today quickly turned to dread and honestly I hope I don't get an infection from this place. I will give the highlights, basically this is not a hygienic place. I quickly noticed they don't use any liners in their foot baths. My guy said it was because they are special bowls and liners don't fit in them. Same guy, doing my mani pedi had a mask around his chin not on his face. I asked him to wear gloves while doing my pedicure (he came right from his previous customer to me) and he did but grudgingly. At a point in my pedicure we jumped back to previous customer, with same gloves on, and added a top coat to her toes then, with same gloves jumped back to me. And continued to move around with gloves on. Was gross but I was tired and needed a pedicure. Not a good way to spend my time or money today. Now it's time for manicure. Very sloppy and quick and NOT relaxing at all. Maybe because him and salon was very unhygienic. At some point he puts his mask on and I say thank you for putting your mask on and he says don't worry I'm vaccinated. Oookkkaaayyyy... paints my nails and it's all over the place and he has a lot to clean from my skin, cuticles are still rough, and he did not do a good job on my foot heels. I should have got up and left at many many times during this uncomfortable experience but I didn't I accepted this substandard treatment like an idiot because I have an event tomorrow and had to have it done today. Looking around the shop there is a lot of nail dust and clutter, dirty floors. At the very end I saw how they cleaned the foot baths. A squirt of plain soap on the bath, scrub brush around and rinse. Then she went to the next foot bath with same brush and same soap. I almost died from shock. My guy also cleaned my foot bath the same way! No sanitizing just soap and same brush. literally this is the highlights but there were problems too. read more

Stopped in for a basic French manicure because I was in the area. There was only two other customers in the salon at the time and they said they could fit me right in, but he stopped the pedicure that he was doing to tend to me. Awkward, but it was nice that I didn't have to wait I guess. He seemed competent enough, but it wasn't until after I left that I realized how bad my nails looked! All the white was uneven and the top coat that he put on had somehow shrunk and was not protecting the edges of the nails at all. I also had white flooded into the cuticles that he didn't clean off. The pictures are my nails two days later, not surprised at all that two have already chipped. I am not rough on my nails at all and home manicures easily last a week on my nails. This great new place opened just down the street a few months ago. Kir and I decided we needed a mani-pedi desperately ..like Right Now! Immediately! So we thought...lets try the new place down the street..... and we did. Good prices, nice options for nails, no matter what you want...regular polish, acrylic nails or something I've never tried but plan on doing called Shellac Nails. We got right in, selected the colors we wanted and had a glass of wine while we relaxed in the comfortable massage chairs, feet soaking in scented water.. Very happy with the salon-it's right next to the new Subway on the corner of SW 150th and Walker Rd...easy for us to walk to if one does not have a broken hip, that is. Give them a try. read more

The girl who did my nails was Zoey. She was friendly and talkative and also very attentive to detail making me feel super comfortable. Two stars because my nails don't look bad and the people working seemed nice but the place was just dirty and none of their tools came out of sterilized bags. There were no liners in the foot baths and it just didn't feel clean. Also it's was 30 dollars for a basic pedicure, and I didn't feel that was worth it. Only one guy there spoke English and I felt bad asking him to tell the lady doing my nails anything because he was with someone at the time.
