I came in for a basic pedicure and received one of the best I have ever had. I appreciate the cleanliness of this business. They use liners for their tubs and tools that have been autoclaved. The technicians are super nice. I will definitely go back for their deluxe pedicure. read more

So this is the second time I've been to this place and for the most part I'm happy with my experience. First time was in October, I got the deluxe pedi with regular polish. It was awesome, they very much take the time to massage your feet and the lotions smell really good. Everything is incredibly clean and the chairs are comfortable. The second time I got the deluxe with shellac and they came out beautifully, even better than before since I loved the color of my polish aand it didn't scratch even after putting on my shoes. Con: waxing. Let me preface this with I waxed 3 months ago, have not shaved since then. This place is not good at waxing, first the lady doesn't speak English, which makes it difficult but not impossible. I pointed to how high I wanted my waxing to go, right above my knee. The lady starts (Gigi?) and she's not going anywhere near my knee, she then tells me to roll over but she hasn't done the top of my feet or my big toe (yes they are hairy, I'm Italian! I asked her to do those areas and she looked at me like I was crazy but did them. She quickly finished the waxing and took out the tweezers which is normal. She spends a few mins getting strays. She tells me I'm all done but I have alot of "super fine hairs" she couldn't get. I look down at my legs and there are still patches of hair and she didn't even do my knees. I can tell where she waxed because it leaves little red spots. She only waxed where the hair was thick. I hadn't had hair removal in 3 months! It was all thick enough! I will be going back but not for waxing. Side note: I did pay, and left a 20% tip. read more

I like this place. It's clean, there are plenty of pedi chairs and nail stations. All of the women there are sweet and most are chatty and they really know their stuff. And they give me what I want. I like my toenails cut down to the "nubbins" and they oblige. Fong & Cam *really* like my mom and they ask about her every time I go in. My mom is great. It's under new ownership and management, so give them another try if it's been a while. Cam does wonderful freehand nail art and it's so very beautiful! There's a big difference in telling a client you simply cannot do something VS just being straight up rude. I was "helped" by sonny who was so disrespectful and snappy for literally no reason. Honestly was so upsetting the way he spoke to me only to leave with some seriously below average nails. Sloppy work! An older lady started my shellac pedi while I was busy on my phone. Halfway through I look at my nails and I was in awe of the mess. The trimming looked like my 6 yr old did it, nails were uneven, polish work was extremely sloppy and not to mention she cut my toe while trimming and it was bleeding!! I voiced my concerns but was ignored, instead the older lady in her language said something to a younger gal that came over and tried to fix the mess. Ugh, so so dissapointed! I left a tip because I'm fair and felt like no one is perfect, but I will for sure NEVER visit this place again. Bummer!!!! read more

Beautiful job on everything I asked for (full set, pedicure, eyebrow, and lip wax). They all work so grear together. I'm not great at explaining what thoughts I have in my head in literal words but they asked wuestions before assuming, they even took off the color because it didn't turn out the way I envisioned it. But they refused to give up until my vision became a reality. They were very kind, helpful, and take pride in their work. They'd rather do quality work that'll look great instead of piling up walk ins and doing quick shotty work (like many nail salons do). UPDATE: They deleted my review on FB. I've given this place 2 chances, solely based on the staff (possibly owner (young gal)), who is very nice. Unfortunately, I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The nail tech failed to remove all of my previous polish and did a sloppy job. At the end I politely voiced my concerns - you could still see my old polish, she missed areas on my nails and the finish was terrible. Her response "Sorry, were busy", field off the green that was my previous polish and didn't fix my nails. She proceeded to hand me a "free" lotion in return for her terrible nail service. Needed my nails done ASAP since my regular place was booked and omg I should have waited. When I called to ask about a fill they told me the price is 35 (shellac) and the lady charged me 40. She did replace a nail which is maybe why she charged the extra 5 bucks which she put on crookedShe took like an hour and a half doing my nails and she didn't even let them dry all the way. She put like 3 coats of color and that just made my nails look bumpy anywhere else the nail tech sprays your nails with alcohol when finished and she didn't. Also the shape AND length is different on each finger that's what I get for being inpatient! If you aren't a regular here and you try this place, I really hope you're experience is better than mine. read more

i repeat DO NOT GO HERE. i say this in the most sarcastic way but thank you to the lady that didn't know how to work with wax and gave me an almost second degree burn on my eyebrow. the second she started she was stabbing me with the scissors and never apologized. she didn't even know how to spread the wax and it was clear she wasn't licensed for this. she continued to proceed with the service and kept laughing off at my burn spot ( i didn't know it was a burn because it only stung a bit). She left wax residue in my hair and all over my eyebrows. CHECK your salons if their workers are licensed because most of the time they are not. photos below are my proof that i got burned and it's gotten worse so i will be taking this up to court and reporting the salon to the state board. their waxing station didn't even look sanitized and it shows. please save yourself some money and time, do not give them business. this upset me so much because i don't care as much for other self care services except my eyebrows and now they're RUINED. yes i did pay at the end because i didn't want to cause a scene but once i got to my house i noticed it was a burn... wth read more

Finally! I have found an experienced nail technician who cares about service and making my nails look great EVERY time. I've just had my third visit here and I love this place. The people here are so friendly, I have never felt so at home in a salon. Really great pedicure too. I like that they include the paraffin wax in the basic pedicure at $25. I couldn't be more displeased with my mani/pedi at Shellac nails and I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews. I feel like I completely wasted $60 dollars as my nail beds are now cracked, tender, and even cut in some places. I rarely get my nails done, so I don't exactly know the process. When the lady went to trim my cuticles, she made the point TWICE of showing me how much she had cut off with a look of shock on her face, as if she was appalled that I didn't trim them down regularly. Well now, a week later, my cuticles are dry and peeling back like crazy! (I never have dry cuticles...) I did a little Googling to find that cuticles are in fact IMPORTANT and should not be cut off. They keep the skin in tack, connected to the nails, and keep stuff away that could cause infection. Apparently you should only push back the cuticles, never trim them (which of course I didn't know, but you'd think experienced nail technicians should?!) On top of this, she also cut my skin in two places and now I have unsightly scabs. The actual polish was poorly applied as well. Definitely won't be coming back here and recommend others stay away! read more

I have gone here 3 times and though they do a nice job on my nails, you can't request the same person each time. Even when I set it up I end up seeing another person. It's not very clean inside, there is dust over everything. Instead of cleaning the stations they just put a towel or placemat atop the old one. No creature comforts, no drink. I went for a fill and I could still see the red color from my previous color underneath and through some nails. Yes, I had powder but had never gotten powder in the past and didn't expect this. The ladies at Shellac Nails are beyond wonderful. They give me a wonderful experience every time I go in! When I am getting my nails or toes done I watch them as they accommodate every client they meet with the same friendly and enthusiastic service that they give me. Cam did a wonderful pedicure for me and has the best nail art in town. Lou is my go-to gal for my shellac manicure. My manicure lasts for over 4 weeks!! I only had to get them redone because of the grow out!! Then there is Phoung. She does my eyebrows. I usually get very red and maybe get a bump or two when I am waxed. Not with Phoung, she did a perfect job and I didn't have any bumps afterward. I highly recommend these ladies if you want class A service. They really know what they are doing!! read more

The staff here are incredibly friendly. They offered me chips (I politely declined) and actually made an effort to have a conversation with my friend and I. My first experience here was wonderful, I've come here about three times and have had a wonderful experience. I came with my friend as we called in for an appointment and they were incredibly flexible and patient with us.
