Luckily he is smart enough to not give the go ahead before talking to me or his dad. We both said to wait and we will look at it. That it being back brakes on a front wheel drive Honda crv he must likely would be fine until we could check them. My boyfriend looked at them the following weekend after purchasing new brakes. They still had about 90 % life to them. So beware of your college kids going to these areas. They are obviously aware a lot of kids these days have minimal knowledge of vehicles and may not have a support person they can consult with locally.

It would have been easy to tell me they were full and that I'd need to come back tomorrow. Instead, David listened to my story, took the keys and went to check it out. The battery tested fine, of course. He could have left it at that and sent me on my way. Instead, he looked around the battery and noticed what seemed to be a loose connection. As he thought about it, he noticed the battery was a bit askew. He came back in to tell me what was wrong and that he had ordered the replacement part to secure the battery and fix the connection. 20 minutes later, he handed me my keys, refusing to charge me a dime, and told me to have a good day. As I stood there incredulously, he said he thought they should have noticed it at my last visit, 2 months ago. Of course they should not have. It probably wasn't loose then. However, it is self effacing, compassionate and detailed service that sets Franklin apart from most businesses. It is why I tell everyone about them. In the end, it is why I keep going back.

I was not able to return within the same week due to Thanksgiving so I'm back now- only to be told that the two remaining original tires both had Nails in them and were irreparable. DO NOT COME HERE!!! I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF AND SCAMMED! As I stand here now, there are TWO pissed-off customers that have experienced similar stories as mine. am going to dispute the charges with my credit card company for the remaining two tires. UPDATE: 2 of my 4 tire sensors were broken by these guys according to the mechanic at the Toyota dealership.

I agreed to the repair based on how the service is described on their website, which states that compressor replacements are typically performed using a kit that includes the compressor, accumulator (drier), and any needed expansion components. After the compressor was installed, the system did not operate correctly. The pressure readings indicated a restriction in the system. During the repair, the accumulator/drier and expansion valve were not replaced. When I raised this concern, I was informed that replacing those components was not part of the original scope of work and was quoted an additional $1,400 to complete those repairs. From my understanding, those components are commonly addressed as part of a complete A/C repair and are also referenced in the service description on the shop's website. Throughout the discussion, I made it clear that I was not trying to avoid paying for the work performed, but rather wanted the repair completed in a way that would result in a properly functioning system. At times, it was difficult to fully communicate my concerns, and there was some disagreement regarding the information I was referencing. I clarified that my understanding was based on the shop's own website. Ultimately, we were unable to come to an agreement on how to proceed. The shop removed the newly installed compressor, reinstalled my original unit, and returned the vehicle to me at no charge. I do appreciate that I was not billed and that the shop was willing to reverse the work. However, the A/C system remains unresolved, and there was a disconnect between how the compressor replacement service is described and what was performed in my case.

My son's vehicle was taken to Ray's in late August following a serious accident. The initial repair…read moreestimate provided to USAA was approximately $9,000. To date, insurance has paid Ray's almost $17,000, yet the truck remains incompletely repaired. The estimated repair time was also significantly inaccurate, resulting in substantial rental fees, as we were forced to rent a replacement vehicle on a daily basis due to repeated delays and miscommunication. When the truck was initially returned approximately six weeks later, the following issues had not been properly addressed: Pinstripe did not match Tail light chipped Paint chips above the front chrome bumper Tailgate was only attached by cables (unsafe for use) Rear differential locked, causing grinding noises when turning Large plastic piece left in the truck bed Gap in the front panel After the truck was returned to Ray's for an additional week, these items were corrected. However, the front tire still does not hold air. Ray's has stated the tire was not damaged in the accident and that they observed no issues during the six weeks they had the vehicle. However, the vehicle's app documents multiple instances of low tire pressure that were corrected during that period. Based on our experience, I strongly advise seeking another repair shop. Ray's demonstrated poor communication, misrepresentation, and substandard workmanship. I believe my son was taken advantage of due to his status as a college student and because he was limited to their services through USAA's repair network

I have been going to Express Oil Change since I first got my car and I have never been disappointed. They are always friendly, helpful, and considerate of my time. I actually don't mind having to get my oil changed because I can get it done quickly. The employees really know what they're doing and talking about, which always reconfirms my decision to go to Express Oil Change. I am so impressed with the service at Express! Every one of the employees was incredibly nice and very helpful. I was referred there by Advanced Auto Parts after my check engine light came on. Within an hour, they had the problem fixed, the oil changed, and other basic maintenance performed. They told me what problems might arise in the future, and never made me feel pressured to have additional work done at the time. I will definitely be recommending them to others! read more

They went the extra mile personally to resolve an issue, including a trip to my home with tools to remove a tire, take it back and fix it. My visit here was perfect! BJ and Chad serviced my car and they did an outstanding job. I sat down for literally 2 minutes and in a nutshell my car was ready! They changed my oil and charged a great price, not to mention it was Ladies Day They also put a new windshield wiper on my car for only $9! Can't beat that! But, after they replaced my tire they told me I should also replace all my break pads and my rotors... not a cheap fix. I decided to wait and ended up taking it to a place in Phenix City near where I work instead. He told me my rotors are COMPLETELY FINE and do NOT need to be replaced. He told me all I needed was new break pads on the front and an oil change... which cost less than half of what Auburn Tire had tried to charge me. Suggest getting a second opinion after looking into Auburn Tire.
