I came here after going to pepboys to get a noise in my car checked out. I just wanted to confirm what Pepboys told me about my air compressor needing to be replaced. They lifted my car and brought me into the workshop and showed me and explained that the air compressor was find and what the problem most likely was. I don't know anything about cars and I was glad they tried to explain everything and help me understand. They also filled up my coolant and send me on my way free of charge after spending time helping me. 10/10 dentists would recommend. read more

The initial oil change experience was fine. But we soon came to learn that it was not. A few days after the oil change, the light came on the dash. The vehicle was no longer in Auburn, so we took it to a local mechanic who promptly found that the oil pan plug/screw was only finger tight, was allowing oil to spill out, very little oil was left in the car and oil had splashed all underneath the car. We had to pay almost $300 to correct this mistake. And our mechanic advised that it could be some time before any potential internal damage might surface. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We spoke with the Express Oil Change manager, Ben Burchfield, who advised that he would handle the situation and get his insurer to pay for our losses -- oil pan screws/plugs do not come out on their own. This one clearly was not screwed back in properly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've followed up with Ben on 4 occasions and have provided him copies of photos of the loose plug/screw and oil dripping out and splashed underneath the car. We've also provided him with a copy of the bill for the repairs. He now refuses to respond to anything[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We are forced to sue him and his company to get them to repair the damage they've clearly caused. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an utterly terrible business that apparently has no care or concern for its customers. Don't take your car to this shop under any circumstances. Drove in for an oil change and drove out with a flat tire. A left out fuel line clip punctured 4 holes in my tire. Mechanic told me there was metal in my tire so I got out to look at it. They did nothing about it. I left and drove one mile until my tire pressure light came on. Ended up being unfixable. read more

Don't know how they managed it, but they broke/lost/whatever the standpipe off of my oil filter housing, and just didn't tell me. Didn't even find out until I took it somewhere else for the next oil change, who said I was lucky my filter didn't collapse. Screwed up the easiest of car maintenance, don't even bother. read more

I stopped for an oil change on Friday, October 3, 2025 and the store was very busy. I needed the oil changed because I was on my way to the Carolinas so I went ahead and got the oil changed, even anticipating a 30 minute wait time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, I was met by Liberty and Josh in Bay three and they were the best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had me in and out in approximately 10 minutes and were super kind to me and even gave my dog a treat. I'm 37 and I'll be hitting oil changes for over 20 years and I can tell you this crew is by far the fastest, friendliest and most efficient. I had been cooking in my car for a few weeks due to my air conditioning going out. I tried another mechanic, who informed me that I was missing my ambient air sensor, and that I would have to go to the dealership for an expensive repair. Well, lucky for me, I got a second opinion from Express Oil. Kim was amazing. She knew exactly what to do and what I needed just by taking a quick peek at the missing sensor. Went here for an oil change on a 2004 Honda Accord they didn't fill my car up with the right amount of oil and when i got my car back my oil change light was still on they also did not try to hide their half ass work by resetting my maintenance light. I've gone here a few times. They have "Ladies Night" on Tuesday and you get $5 dollars off. Good excuse to make the wife go instead of me. I usually purchase my own synthetic oil at Walmart to save a little cash. They're nice about it and will give you back the leftover oil. Sometimes they'll put it in a plastic bag to prevent getting oil everywhere, which is nice. I recently needed to get air in my tires. I stopped by a couple of gas stations, but their air dispensers were out of service. I was headed towards the freeway and was running out of options, so I decided to see if these folks would fill my tires. I'm happy to report that they were very courteous, professional and had no problem filling up my tires. Big ups! I started changing my own oil to save a little cash, but if I ever get lazy, I'll definitely be coming here. read more

I'll be honest, I know a little more than nothing about cars and always get nervous about having my car serviced and being taken advantage of, but I have never felt uneasy about this Express Oil Change. I've come in twice before my oil needed to be changed and technician Billy Moore has told me that I wasn't due for a change yet and they "didn't want to take my money." On one such occasion, I told them that I was going on a trip and just wanted to make sure it was all prepared (my car has over 150,000 miles on it). They not only check out all my fluid levels but, since I seemed worried, they even gave me a little oil at no charge "just to be on the safe side."
