The water pump failed in our travel trailer on a western road trip. The next day after we returned to Indy, I called Express RV Repair. Since I did not have any work done on my RV, I cannot give them a 1 Star rating. The receptionist asked what I needed done and I told her and she asked a tech if they could do it and the answer was yes. But trying to talk to someone as a tech or someone to answer my questions about specifics of work that I wanted done. I was not given a chance to speak with or even have them to call me back at a later time by the receptionist. It was some pretty good work for them but evidently they have plenty of work and was not interested. So I cannot comment on their workmanship. Customer service and communication does go a long way. So I will continue looking for someone who is interested in my work to be done and my money. read more

I dropped my Keystone Montana off there in early November before I had shoulder surgery. I asked that they do roof seal, caulk all seams, change the bathtub, or anything else that needed to be done. After I got it back out on the road recently I went to hook it up and they had turned the water off inside tbe wall and left it off so my water heater had to water to it. Not a big deal I found it and turned it back on. They had taken the diode out of the water heater and never replaced nor told me that they had removed it. It started raining and I noticed a drip in the bathroom. I found they had shattered the skylight over the tub and instead of telling me they just caulked all over the top of it and tried the cover it up to hide it. They broke the gutter on the roof, and never told me. They never cleaned the ac drains like I asked. They peeled my roof seal off all over the roof. The caulk around the seams was incomplete. The bathtub was incorrectly installed and when I pointed it out they tried to half ass fix that instead of doing it correctly. Most of this I didn't notice until now due to being off work for months after my surgery. I am now back to work and pulled the trailer out of storage and am finding all of the things they either didn't do or they half ass did . Absolutely POOR quality of work!!!!!! POOR POOR! It was $6000+ I paid them for their work, and it's sad to find out they just threw completely shirked their responsibility to their customer. I would highly recommend that no one take their trailer to this business. read more

Hmmmmm..... maybe shop around, very friendly and David is extremely knowledgeable but they no longer offer mobile repair, the younger guys at the shop are also very eager to please but may not posses the knowledge and experience to properly repair or fabricate things, also prices are a little on the higher end. Still a good shop just be aware they seem to be pretty busy and you have to bring your RV or camper to them and if you have to come down Washington St with a camper forget it, you'll ruin your axel or blow a tire Edit: well I was going to let it go with your initial response but since we are reviewing files and such I can elaborate in great detail a lot more, the camper that was serviced was paid for by my employer and at that time, you did offer mobile service, our AC unit went out and the entire unit was replaced, the man that came out and did the repair was the older gentleman in the picture. We were in a pinch and felt taken advantage of, the next situation was handled quite oddly, I was not having the service done it was my girlfriend having an AC unit installed on top of her van. The older gentleman apparently not named David, said it was not a service that could be done there but a couple of the younger guys said they would take a stab at it but could not cut a hole in the top of her van, which she had done at another location. After the hole was cut she was instructed to drop the van off on a Monday and and it would be installed by Thursday, 2 1/2 weeks went by before we had to pick up the van to leave town and the job was about 80% complete. Reasoning for the hold up were two things one they were extremely busy and two they ended up ordering the wrong AC unit and had to wait for another one to come. Additionally several things were added that were not requested but offered including additional plug - ins inside that were not discussed as to the location and put in the most unhelpful location as well as not properly installing the AC hood inside the cab as a light was blocking it from being installed snug. After getting to our next location a certified electrician took a look at the work and was not pleased. The light could have easily been moved and allowed the unit to have been finished properly, the wiring of the additional plugs was also poorly done, no ground connected and the wiring run in a very odd manner. I'm not an electrician so I can't comment much on that but the man that instructed us as to the issues was a very close associate who would not manipulate or falsely diagnose his assessment for no reason. All be it, everyone was extremely nice but I'm not looking to call and have some kind of back and fourth as to you justifying the work or the price. We were in a pinch and paid what we had to to get the work done since we are not local to the area, I'm sorry if this review does not please you since you have checked it multiple times and added edits but customers do have the right to know my experience. Though I believe you are trying to make it right, it's over and done with and requesting I call to sort it out seems like a ploy for me to remove this review from yelp as it does drive business. read more

Work was reasonably priced and done fast. They saved us two trips to the RV dealer in Ohio, and also fixed some minor body damage without having to order new parts! Very impressed with the whole operation - the guys are all knowledgeable, and we recommend them without hesitation. Can't wait to try out our new birdseye camera system. Highly Competent, Honest, and Highly Recommended. We RV all summer. In June the automatic leveling and stabilizing system in our 5th wheel stopped working. In Albuquerque a local mobile repairman spent half a day and could not find out what was wrong wrong. We brought it to Camping Word in Nevada, they spent a whole day with it and decided they needed a custom analysis tool from the manufacturer to figure it out. This tool was backordered for a month so we contacted the manufacturer, Lippert, and they were kind enough to send the tool ahead to us in Indianapolis free of charge. Another RV shop in Indy recommended Express to us, saying they were good with this sort of thing. We waited a month to get an appointment in September and brought the tool. In the meantime, we had a window broken in a campground, and had had a replacement for it sent to Indy also. We brought it in for our appointment on Monday morning. Matt said to give them a couple days. We explained we were on a tight schedule and needed to move on ASAP. He said he'd try. About 2 hours later we got a call that it was ready. The window was installed and the leveling issue resolved. Turned out a fault switch just needed to be reset. Matt's dad showed us how to do it ourselves in the future. HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT FOR THIS KNOWLEDGE, saying it was so simple he couldn't charge for it. This was after 2 so called "professional" shops spent days and could not resolve the issue. We paid for the window installation and were on our way. So hard to find honest, competent, repair facilities these days. These guys are highly recommended read more

I have had my RV at Express more than once for a specific issue that is yet to be properly repaired. Every time I have been mislead with distorted information by Express. I am more than aggrieved by the lack of professionalism by Express and more displeased by the lack of quality in their work. Even if Express was the last RV repair business in the world, I would not consider them for any repairs. I would not let them replace the air in tires because their workmanship is that horrible. read more
