We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. The time frame of one month that we were given turned into 2 and half months. 2. Nowhere on the order was noted that we have a high ceiling, the same person who did measurement came to install and realized that he needs a large ladder that was in a big truck which was in the accident the day before. 3. He left and came back in a few hours and was able to fit a big ladder into smaller truck. 4. It took him a long time to learn how the system works, basically he read the manual here saying that he never installed that particular system. It took him 3 hours and he still has not finished installing even one skylight. 5. When I called Ed, he tried to blame me for not being sympathetic to the fact that car was in the accident (instead of apologizing to me for NOT rescheduling the appointment and training his technicians on how to install the system that was ordered by his company's representative) , he interrupted me very often and finally said that I acted hostile. Talking about great customer skills from the owner. 5. The installer came again, spent another 3 hours (total of 7 hours for 2 days instead of 2.5 that was promised). When he left, there were screws on the floor, plaster, and the bottle water half filled. Everything was super unprofessional and do yourself a favor to take your business somewhere else.

He did a great job in explaining different choices for different areas in the house and took into consideration my dog who jumps at the patio sliding door. He came back to take measurements and explain different choices on the shutters. There were a few things that I had to ponder about and Eric gave me his opinions/suggestions. It took about four months for the shutters to be ready (made overseas). I thought it was a long time but it seems to be the norm these days. I could have paid an extra $300 to have it done in a month but decided I wasn't in a hurry. The installers Johnny and Luis were super efficient and very nice. They did a great job with installation. They couldn't install the shutters on one of windows and told me Eric would be in touch. First thing the next morning I received an email from Eric apologizing saying he had made an error and he would have the shutters redone. He paid to have the shutters done in the shorter time (four weeks). Johnny and Luis came back yesterday and installed the last shutter. It took them 15 minutes.
