We ordered for the first time the other week and excited to find one of our favorite pizza's. When we got home we found that the pizza was nothing as described. we paid extra for extra ingredients and didn't get them. The chicken was disgusting, shredded like something out of a can. We ordered a couple pizzas. The guy said it would be only 30-45 minutes. Called an hour and a half later, and the person that picked up the phone seemed annoyed that we were even inquiring about the status of the delivery. After 2 hours the driver finally showed up, and quickly gave me the food and walked away literally as if he knew the food had been sitting there and cold. I wish we just went to the grocery store to get Digiorno, because we had to throw all the food in the oven and wait longer for it to heat up anyway. I am a pizza snob! I heard of Expresso because my co-worker loves it. One day on the way home, my husband and I decided to try it! The pizza is AMAZING!!!! I wanted more right away! We also got the breadsticks...they were okay just a tad too much garlic...but that's fine! We went again a week later. My husband likes his pizza well done so we decided to try that---I don't recommended that---it was too well done but still amazing! We also wanted to try the calzone. We ordered a chicken parm calzone. I have had calzones from other places in the area and have been disappointed---this one however, is the best calzone I've had. We will explore the menu a little more. I want to try the subs etc. I'm so very happy with this find. I HIGHLY recommend this place! You will NOT be disappointed. read more

After an hour in traffic Hubby decided to pick up pizza on the way home. Expresso pizza was on his route home and he dropped in to pick up a pie. I am so glad he did. First, Hubby said the place was clean and tidy. The counter staff was friendly as well. He ordered a small pizza, half mushrooms, half sausage and an order of mozzarella sticks. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was soft and cooked perfectly. The sauce tasted great and just the perfect amount. The sticks were actually very good. Typically I do not like Motz sticks as most of the time Hubby brings them home they have that icky crunchy coating that I just do not care for. Not these sticks. The coating was different, thin and a tad crunchy. I thought they were very good although the cheese could have been a little more melty for me! This is a great pizza joint! I grew up eating Expressos pizza. After being away for so long, I can say there isn't anything else like Expressos. The sauce is sweet- this can be a turn off for some but I love it. I also love their Greek salad dressing. As a kid, my dad would say their pizza should be eaten at the restaurant, right out of the oven. Now as an adult, I understand his point but parking is tight. We parked right in front- 15 minute parking only. Even if we got a parking ticket, the pizza is worth it. read more

We tried Expresso Pizza for the first time about a year ago, and we have been crazy about it ever since! Every ingredient is so fresh - their home made pizza dough and sauce are perfect. We have tried some neat Brazilian pizzas (the Fiorentina!) and were wowed, the plain cheese pizza is perfection, and the onion rings are a crispy savory compliment to any order. It's a little place as far as dining-in goes (they are mostly delivery/takeout), but it's a cozy little restaurant that smells like heaven. The staff is exceptionally rude, refusing to even acknowledge me for 10 minutes and then speaking poorly about me in Spanish (clearly they didn't realize I speak the language), the food took 30 longer than I was quoted, and when I got home I learned that half of the items I ordered were missing. However, the last couple of times I ordered they were super late (well over an hour each time) and one one occasion not only were they late, but they brought the wrong order. I understand that these things happen. In fact I was a pizza delivery driver for many years myself. However, what really disappointed me most was the lack of apologies. Not once did they utter the word "sorry." Seriously, that surprised me and bummed me out. It's like they didn't care.
