Food: Great. Ambiance: Cute decor and nice restrooms. But the music! Dear Lord. It's SO LOUD. We asked twice for them to turn down the music, but it still was so loud. Part of the problem is that their stereo system is very quiet over the cash register counter (which makes sense - they want to hear your order). But it's super loud over the tables on the corners below their speakers. Also: They don't offer free WiFi. It's 2025. Every restaurant should have their WiFi info posted for all to see. We recently had lunch at the Pizza Bar in Tewksbury, MA- The ambience is great- clean and modern. However the music was a bit loud, and we could not even have a conversation. Service was good, though servers seemed to be arguing with each other behind the counter. We ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap- the food was delicious, although the chicken tender was left whole and the wrap completely fell apart, Their chicken is fantastic though- marinated very well and cooked perfectly. Got introduced to this restaurant by a friend and we have loved it since then! I love how they have different options on how well done you want the pizza to be. Had a huge order for a family gathering on a Friday night and they didn't even blink! Service was swift (30 minutes for9 different items including 4 pizzas) and the order was confirmed and came out perfectly. Pizza and salads were good and the chicken tender dinner with fries was also tasty. My only gripe is that they didn't provide a receipt or confirm the price. I understand being busy but when an order is over $150, there should be some checks and balances. They also didn't label the dressings so light Italian and creamy Italian were a little hard to determine. Otherwise will order again when I'm in town. read more

Sorry guys, your underhanded charges have driven me away. Your food is great, but I can't handle all the "hidden" costs. 1. Your website has wrong pricing. When I bring it up in the restaurant, you say thank you. 2. Taxes are charged at 7%, not the state mandated 6.25%. 3. You charge a "Service fee" based upon the taxed amount of 4.5% (plus a bit). When asked what it was for, you showed a tiny little sign to show that you are charging 4.5% I ordered chicken salad club. It was $15.99 on the website. Your store menu says it is $16.99. You charged $16.99 plus $1.19 in tax which is 7%. You added $.83 service fee to "pay for upgrades in the restaurant and cover changes is costs of food". So in the end, my $15.99 chicken salad club was over $19. I'm out. read more

When you walk in, the vibe is pretty good. Decent decor with like some flowers and shit on the wall. Its a walk up and order, then sit kind of place. I have really high standards for pizza and subs. To put it bluntly, I saw what the pizza looked like and I immediately ordered a sub out of fear. Which I might add, also tasted better the next day than it did as I was eating it in the restaurant. This place isnt BAD.. its just not good either. I couldn't understand the cashiers thick...Russian?... accent and my car wouldn't start in the parking lot which also puts negative effect on this review. Very good food but don't let the name fool you. There is NO bar. They do offer drinks but this is a take out place that is just a little nicer than your average pizza shop. We tried the steak and cheese sub as well as a pizza with peppers, onions and sausage. The sub was packed and covered with delicious melted cheese. This place was recommended by a friend for their steak tips- funny, Coach said no burger and fries last week but I could have steak and fries. My gf got the burger, and HOLY SMOKES. She said it was incredible, juicy and jam packed with flavor....and come on look at it!! It's perfectly put together, such a beautifully delicious burger. Thank you to the staff and cook crew for that! I did have some waffle fries and they were perfect. I got the steak tips dinner, the girl ringing us up read my mind and knew I didn't want the salad but offered extra fries and immediately I knew this place is my new go to! Also the garlic bread is massive ( I couldn't have it but my gf brought it home and put it in the oven for 5 minutes the next day) she said it was SOOOO good. Get the best pizza in Massachusetts at this hidden gem! From outward appearance you think it might be just another hole-in-the-wall, but this places interiors is warm and welcoming. The large table in the center welcomes larger parties, while side tables for two to four add to the comfort of this establishment. Like all.pizza places, they have multiple options. And the best part is that it is crafted items. None of this rinse and repeat method that seem common amongst New England pizza parlors. They have taken time to create a memu that works, and has repeat customers coming back for more. And if you're like me, and want a beer with your pizza, they don't disappoint. Though not a huge selection the basics are there to quench your thirst with a mirad of other options for those who just want that typical soda. So I reviewed this restaurant 2 years ago but have to give yet another review because it has to be one of the BEST establishments around! It is without a doubt Tewksburys "hidden gem". I have yet to have anything I haven't enjoyed. But last night I FINALLY tried their Gyros and OMG, absolutely delicious! I am of Greek nationality so I usually make my own or go to a Greek restaurant but this place is ON POINT! Burgers, salads, gyros and the list goes on! If you haven't tried it, you are missing out. Let's start with the food both hubby and myself had sandwiches plus mozzarella sticks, after seeing a picture on the Tewskbury FB page and the Reviews, we thought lets give them a try as I didnt really care for the Pizza. He had a Texas Burger with no sauce, wanted just BBQ, but there is not an option online. Me, I had a chicken cutlet sub, and it was okthe Burger was delicious, he said. So after placing the order ($53 mind you) my husband went to pick up, asking how much he should give for a tip (I work in Wilmington, next town over in a small T/O place) I said here's $5 that's good! My husband asked for a side of BBQ sauce from the young man that was up front ( there was another guest there as well picking up his order) so the young man tells my husband, that's a $1.50 my husband explained that he tried to order with the meal since he wasn't sure if he would like the sauce on the Burger but there was not an option for just BBQ. Still, the young man insisted that my husband had to pay $1.50 for the sauce! So he pays kids said thank you but never handed him the food but didn't grab the sauce, so my husband said, can i get that sauce ,then says to the man, also waiting, " Wow, $1.50 for sauce that was already on a sandwich "but I wasn't sure if I'd like it so I only wanted BBQ ,(only had a $5) he said well sorry but that's all the cash I have on me. So he rings my husband up, hands him the food, but never grabbed the sauce. My husband said, "Can i get the BBQ?" The kid tossed it in the bag , giving my husband a bit of an attitude so my husband left the coin change and took the $3 dollars back. Said you could have been a bit nicer. That was your tip. I placed the order online,it comes with sauce, but the online system does not give you the option for on the side so to charge me $1.50 for 3.25oz of BBQ sauce and give me an attitude is really not necessary. Unfortunately, we will never go back now. We (I) didn't like the pizza. My husband did way more than me, but we just wanted to give it another try to support local restaurants. Now I do understand that all restaurants/stores/ shops are doing everything they can to survive these days (as I said, I work in a local T/O restaurant in Wilmington,so I get it!) Very disappointed with our recent take out experience. My husband and I loved going here for their burgers and salads but not after tonight. Horrible customer service and the food is much over priced. They had a young gentleman taking orders tonight who was only on his second shift and clearly wasn't trained properly for a busy Friday night. We ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken and waited over an hour for it. When we picked it up and got home we realized we got a Greek salad with chicken salad. Pretty gross. I called and the young gentleman told me he had no idea what he was doing and he was sorry he messed up our order but he couldn't do anything to fix it or make it right. I also mentioned the price we paid didn't match their prices listed online and his response was "yeah, our food is expensive here."
